    Thanks guys . That was it. I did a quick repair and with the viacom removed it worked. I only just got viacom. Do I reinstall viacom ? or is this something that will just keep screwing my install? I only just bought it . grr. Many thinks guys . Id never have clicked it was a mod that had screwed up the install :) Edit. I checked over at the viacom thread. Looks like everyone having this issue and I guess well have to wait for a fix :)

    With ht enew update dcs appears frosen at the start screen at 10% . I seem to remember this took a while ona first install. But this time its been sitting at 10%f or over a hour. Any ideas whats up?

    What is hinted new plane? in today's news it states there's a new plane to be released this year. Any ideas? A phantom,thud, corsair2 . I really hope it's something iconic. Not some obscure third world trainer . Give us some Vietnam and Arab wars era love ????????

    Ive followed the grim reapers tutorial for programming multiple targets but something isnt working like in the tutorial. When I shift from mode PP with pp1 box selected . In TOO I can set coordinates and return to mode pp. the pp1 box remains crossed. It should be boxed. I get the same with the pp2 box. it remains crossed. All the stations end up having the same coordinates of the last tdc depress. I know this worked a few months ago . Anyone else having issues. or has the programming logic changed since the tutorials?

    Thanks. that was it. Brand new computer and new bindings. doh . It was a problem with the tdc depress binding. I was so sure Id checked this . Thanks for the input guys :)

    Ive been away a couple of months so I dont know if an patch has broken something. as this used to work for me On a jdam run I have set up to receive the new coordinates data. Im on the jdam mission page. I locate a target with the tgp. I have sensor switch set to tgp page on right screen. I do the tdc depress and nothing happens. I should now have data in my left screen with the jdam data now. But nothing happens. Ive exactly copied WAgs and Grim Reapers tutorials as far as I can see. The game can see my hotas tdc depress function.and I can test the tdc depress button. but its like it doesnt work in flight. Any ideas. new feature, bug ? Im stumped. :(

    HI Ive tying to contact Thomas again on your e mail but Im having some problems. mtmtwsims@tutamail.com but Im being told recipient not found.. Temporary fault or is there a change of address?     Im about to get my new computer. Do I need to do anything special when I install on the new one? I seem to remember back in the day you only got so many installs. Something about turning off install keys and such. But I cant find anything on this now. Its been a long time since Ive done this. Some advice would be most useful :)

    Since all Russian planes are stuck at 1990 for " reasons " what about the missiles? Watching a vid yesterday I was struck at how op awesome the aim9x is with it being smokeless. The 120 is vastly better than the Russian radar missiles too. Has their missile tech really just stagnated since 1990? No smokeless missiles. No improvement in guidance at all? If we cant have the newer better planes can we at least have the newer better missiles? If we cant have hi fidelity new planes how about FC3 level fidelity new planes? I just think were missing out on something here. It feels a little like blue flying a 1945 P51d vs red in a 1940 Bf 109E4 from the Battle of Britain. lol. Thoughts anyone :)

    When its finished I think the f16 will appear more intuitive in its menus and general mfd usage. Just nice touches like it automatically changing radar range as you scroll up or down. But maybe years of the other sim have just colored my view as one im used to and the F18 Im not. I think they are both going to be great. Both have a long way to go but F18 is getting there. F 16 early early days :)

    How can you doubt them.. after all we did get all that info back in 2015. Anyway slow the f18 , that's so last year. All devs get working the f16! By the time we're bitching about it not having a ground radar it'll be time for the Cobra to distract us. Lol. And so it goes:(:(

    IN grim reapers very recent review he discusses the shake. Its suddenness and also the lack of any sounds from the plane. I cant hear the burners. I cant hear my speed or aoa. Cant get a feel for the plane at all. Cockpit going nuts ,, well it might be realistic but I dont find it immersive. I really wanted to love this plane. But in the current version I dont and Im just not flying it now :( I cant help but think that there could be more indications as to what the plane is doing other than the 2 states of 1 everything ok and 2 shaking like a maniac. lol. As its still early access Im hoping this isnt the way its going to stay :)

    Im getting the same with my VKB kosmosima grip. I get nothing at first trigger and it just latches on when I press to 2nd point and it just stays on.
