  1. Thanks Bud, Great help . :thumbup::thumbup:
  2. I may have misunderstood you, do you mean on the last waypoint of the helo > advanced waypoint actions > perform command > land?
  3. That will place the AI helo to the nearest Airfield/Farp/ship. I am looking at creating an CSAR extraction mission in the middle of the mountains....
  4. Hi all, Is it possible to instruct an AI Helicopter to hover and land over a specific point on the map. The closest I can get it is within 120 ft and travelling at 1 kt. I would like to get it at least 10-20ft ?
  5. Ok, I think I know where your going... After selecting the Mission setting on the Steer Pt dial.... 1. Right selection Keys , third one down to create new waypoint ( starts with a question mark ?x and x is the next wpt number in sequence. 2. Select co-ordinate input method on Right Selection Key 4 , either L/L or UTM 3. Enter co-ords in scratchpad as per your preference above then press Left Selection Key 4 4. Name waypoint by typing in a name then press Right Selection Key 1 5. Set HUD as SOI and select the waypoint you have just created. Sorry for the non technical explanation. I'm married. ;)
  6. Running latest here, no problems at all. Check your options for conflicting button/axis mapping. Also check for crosswinds and weapon load out. Fly clean and empty with NO wind or Turbulence to narrow down your problem.
  7. Well, thats me out of any more ideas apart from a re-install dance mate. Good luck.
  8. Check the radio volume switches on the Intercom panel. Left rear console.
  9. Thank you very much for sharing. Great addition.
  10. Thank you very much for sharing your hard work. In my humble opinion, the true essence of Multiplayer is coming away from a session learning something new, albeit , Avionics, Weapon parameters or any of the other plethora of subject matter . It must be a warm feeling knowing that you have helped a newcomer to the series and shared some knowledge to help them attain the same level of enjoyment you have for it. Thanks again, your on the right track with your Squads Ethos.
  11. Hi All, Liking the HDR "COLD" setting at the moment apart from flying within 30 degress of a low sun angle. My eyes really started to hurt with that brilliant whiteout effect. Any way to tone that down within the "COLD" HDR setting? WARM and NORMAL settings are OK, but, I want to use COLD without my eyes bleeding. Thanks
  12. If you click on the Tanker symbol in the Mission Editor and look on the right side, you will see this if you choose the ADVANCED option (Highlighted in white) you will be able to change certain criteria. Look at the GUI manual here http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/documentation/dcs-a-10c_warthog_gui_manual_en/ It explains it all. Hope it helps
  13. i have got "iControl DCS" App for the iPAD, is this what you have? If so I might be able to help you through it?
  14. Wish I knew, I swap between DCS World and V1.1.1.1 standalone to get my vortex fix....
  15. It dissappeared after one of the updates not so long back......
  16. Quoted from the Manual, page 339 8. LSS Code (LSS), data entry OSB 17. Using the scratchpad, you may enter the laser code that will be searched for when in laser spot search (LSS) mode. The entered value can range from 1111 to 1788, but the first digit of the series must be a 1 and the last three digits must be between 1 and 8. The inputted number is displayed below the LSS OSB label. If an invalid number is inputted, an “INPUT ERROR” WCN is displayed in the center of the display. 9. Laser Designation Code (L), data entry OSB 18. Using the scratchpad, you may enter the laser designation code. The entered value can range from 1111 to 1788, but the first digit of the series must be a 1 and the last three digits must be between 1 and 8. The inputted number is displayed below the L OSB label. If an invalid number is inputted, an “INPUT ERROR” WCN is displayed in the center of the display. Try the default 1688 code. Hope it helps.
  17. On my keyboard, the \ is recognised as 'OEM102'. As said above, remap the key in the Control Options and see what comes up. Should work thereafter.
  18. Ah, I see. Never mind though. Shouldn't take too long. I noticed a good increase in FPS on V1.1.1.1. Just finding out if anything has changed (systems and avionics wise) compared to DCS World 1.2.2. So far I'm enjoying it . Grimes, you have been a great help.
  19. OK, V1.1.1.1 installed. Works fine. How can I get my whole custom controller setup over to the v1.1.1.1 version.? I have custom keyboard settings and 4 other controllers to worry about. Thanks
  20. Great news. Thanks again for your help.
  21. Thanks Grimes for the quick response. I already have DCS World 1.2.2 (latest patched version) version of A10 installed and wondered if I needed to de-activate my install first before installing the v1.1.1.1 alongside it. Thanks for the help
  22. Hi All, Could somebody ease tell me what is the best way to set up a dual install A10c installation. Many thanks.
  23. Yes it is. The info you seek is found in the Flight Manual Page 250 onwards.
  24. Users>your name>saved games>DCS>Tracks>Multiplayer and Users>your name>Saved Games>DCS>LOGS Is that the one mate?
  25. PeterP found a workaround for rudders and trim... http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=40624 It might apply to your particular problem.
