  1. Don't worry, I've played almost all the F16 and F18 campaigns and it took me three tries; it's obviously not well designed, but I'm sure they'll fix it and your ideas are very good. However, in general, it must be hell for campaign developers when each ED update causes some bug in their missions, although in this case, I simply think it's too difficult, especially for the third one.
  2. I was also curious about this... in my case I keep switching between QVFR and FR toolkit depending on the patch, but I doubt that both at the same time is doing anything good...
  3. Yes, PGM2 all 4 HARMS, I don't know who killed the rest of the flight, I was too pissed off to watch the debriefing ;-)... And I don't even know where the CAP was to deal with those J-11s.
  4. 90 FPS in VR in al situations? what quest pro supersampling are you using? I have a similar hardware but it is impossible for me to maintain 90 in all situations, especially on the ground in missions with many units, but with 2.0 SS.
  5. Hello, first of all I want to say that I am completely sure that these missions worked in the DCS version when the campaign came out, but I have been through missions 3 and 4 without being able to finish them and I would like to know if I am doing something wrong. Without going any further, in mission 4, I locate the ships, using the HAD I fix several of their SAMs and I launch the HARMs at them, and I start to maneuver so that they keep launching me. So far, so good. Previously, just before starting the attack I had given the order of "mission and rejoin". Well, the entire flight is shot down except me. Even so, I understand that I have done my job, and I still have enough to shoot down two bandits... I rush out of there, but there is no longer any mission callouts, I arrive at the base, I land, 50%, mission not passed. What is the objective for the mission to appear as completed?
  6. It would be great to have "showcase" type missions to directly test these presets.
  7. For my eyes with QP, speaking strictly about visual quality and not performance, 90Hz 45 ASW > 75Hz NO ASW... But everyone has a different perception of course.
  8. One question, this mod changes all presets, meaning you can enjoy it on any mission that hasn't taken this mod into account, or do you need to load one of the new presets?
  9. Also Quest Pro and 4090... Have you tested 45 ASW (90 refresh) and 2.0 supersampling via OTT? (And quad views of course). What I can't stand is 72Hz, I notice the flickering, while with stable 45 ASW and DLAA, ghosting it is minimal today, at least I can stand this last one much more.
  10. Yes, thanks, I know how to use the bullseye, but I couldn't find the drone following the direction, on the third try I found it; I was also expecting, as you say, a callout from my wingman's own mission, but now I see that what you were referring to is a callout from the DCS itself, not scripted... Anyway, I shot down the drone, I followed my CAP, I started receiving callouts, at one point code JANE, we shot down several 33, when I didn't see any left I continued with the CAP indefinitely, there were no more messages, when I got tired I tried to land at the origin, 250 points but 50 as a result, mission not passed.
  11. Thanks, but can you confirm me if the callout of 315 is respect bullseye?
  12. Frustrated here, I've been here twice now and I don't see it, the first location that the awacs gives me is supposed to be in reference to the bullseye, which I have previously entered its coordinates and assigned correctly, I head towards there but there is no way, I don't see it. No wingman call out. The frequency that I have is the one required in the mission itself, saying Uniform push 2, so I put preset 2 in COM1. ???
  13. Please, only supersampling in one place, preferably on the VR googles tool itself! And just as he tells you, 2x0'5...
  14. I also have Questo Pro, and openxr toolkit have an eye tracking option...
  15. I use Quad Views Companion for simplify the tweaking... For that reason it might work better for me openxr toolkit FR.
  16. XRtoolkit -> yes Quad views -> yes but... DCS does not have quad views implemented, only two options to enable it, but you have to have installed mbuchia Quad Views "outside" DCS. Yes, I try similar options with two tools, but keep in mind that they are two very different implementations of FR, and although I am aware that with my 4090 and 78003D Quad Views it should give me better results, it is not so.
  17. what options are you using in openXR toolkit?
  18. I'm still testing the two options/types we currently have for foveated rendering, and although the openxr one gives a little less performance, with the current patch (fog) the squared box area at the limits of the foveated area is less noticeable, and even less stutters in some areas under heavy load such as the low-flying Marianas map. OpenXR toolkit Foveated Rendering (with eye tracking) -> Less FPS gain, less stutters Quad Views Foveated Rendering -> More FPS gain, more stutters in certain areas of high load What are your experiences?
  19. Unless I'm missing something (hopefully!), VD doesn't work with a manufacturer link cable like the one on the quest pro, but as Qcumber points out, what you've used (likely) is an ethernet cable via an adaptor. With that adaptor you're getting exactly the same thing as with wifi6E. But the image still streams and gets compressed. I insist, I am not criticizing VD, it is an excellent application, I only note that in terms of quality and stability it cannot match, in my case with quest pro, what the link cable gives.
  20. In my opinion and tests with Quest Pro, VD god mode is far (below) than the best quality which can be achieved via cable link, with x2 supersampling, 960 bitrate. VD is an excelent application, but even VD god mode can't come close to the cable link connection "on steroids". Yes, if we compare the VD god mode against cable link with the native resolution, the VD may work with a quality similar to that of the cable link, but with a 4090 and a good processor, supersampling at 2 and bitrate at 960 is something that VD simply can't match when streaming. And I say this with knowledge of the facts, I already have a dedicated 6E router and I have tried everything that had to be tried... but I insist, for a default configuration it is a magnificent application. I hope they are able to implement connectivity via cable link someday, although due to manufacturer issues I understand that it will not be possible.
  21. Thanks @BIGNEWY, I hope Quad views are increasingly taken into consideration (even integrated), for VR it is a must have!
  22. From https://www.8492sqdn.net/guides/dcs/performance/ VR Mirror Use DCS System Resolution On. Turning this off decreases performance and interferes with Jester features in Heatblur modules. Use external software such as Oculus Mirror Utility for recording/livestreaming.
  23. Sorry for the insistence, but what are the other light effects that are not supposed to get if lens flare is not activated?
  24. We are talking about the squared box of the Quad Views foveated area, is much more perceptible after the last patch (fog)
