  1. Would love to see simple (FC3-type) flyable/multi-crew a/c models for the KC-135, E-3, C-17, etc. for us old guys who like hauling stuff around. :) Imagine being able to be AWACS to see the big picture and direct flights or being able to occupy a "flyable" KC-135 Boomer position... That would add tons of realism to refueling operations and probably bring down the level of cussing that occurs when he just won't STICK IT IN!!/1!!... lol -D

  3. My source is my 33 years of military and non military flying fixed and rotary wing aircraft. But I am sure the armchair experts are correct. I bow to the greater knowledge.
  4. The left engine is the critical engine due to P-factor, which isn't as strong in a TF34 as opposed to a propeller-driven aircraft, but is still there. Therefore when the left engine quits, the asymmetrical yaw is harder to overcome due to the power being generated from the right engine in addition to the p-factor torque.

  7. The workaround for this bug is to not put yourself in situations that require an emergency jettison of the external stores. - I stole that from a Cisco bug report. :)
  8. I've been harping about that for months and was told there are more important things to worry about... like making sure the blades of grass were the proper shade of green.

  13. The conversation is also still backwards when talking to ATC. The Tanker and AWACS are correct but for whatever reason they would rather work on complex changes to irrelevant F-18 textures instead of just moving a couple of variables around to make the dialog correct... ~shrug~
  14. You do not need to tune to the tower freq to request fuel or ammo... that would be extermely annoying to any tower controller. Just park in the right place and use the menus...
  15. Sinky, you should look into changing the resolution of your MFD's to 1024 or 1024 Each Frame... You will be amazed at the difference in quality of the TGP picture...
  16. It looks like some flags are not getting cleared after "missions" are completed. Shortly after getting a Mission Complete message with a very uplifting "Good Job!" :) I get an update message with the coordinates. I've seen it with one of the Artillery tasks, the MLRS task and the FARP task at a minimum. Thank you for the addition of the chat commands! You might consider adding a "Task ID" to each task and enabling the marking of said Task ID's as complete via chat similar to what you can do via F10 Other. Just a suggestion...
  17. Not true... as soon as you start either engine and the generator is coupled to the bus, the CDU will warm start and the whole alignment process starts over. Unless of course that was fixed in 1.1.0.7...
  18. Did any of you actually WATCH the installation of the A-10 release? How many times do they show an F-15 that is very, very detailed right down to the afterburner rings?

  21. Just curious as to why the Host has to be the F10 guy? I run a dedicated server (at a Data Center) and fly remotely and would love to have it where the 1st plane in the list is "Lead"... A limitation of the sim? and I agree... the voice acting is awesome!
