Harker, can you please tell me how to use crystal palace properly..Do i need to have auto brief option chechked, and is briefeing only audio spoken or is it visible in VA screen? Do i need to have AM frequency 70 or 42 or 284 - selected to have crsytal palace read briefing or giving status? For me i only hear auto brief on start of mision..and i had to setup external 3d sound application "Razer Surround" in a way that audio voices sliders are maxed all the way to be able to hear AOCS briefing

For anybody having issues with low/distorted sound from AOCS or even from Jester - check you external app..For example, i have razzer surround app that mimics 360 surround sound, and in there i had voice clarity slider which i had to move full right - to get AOCS auto brief sound to be loud and clear !!

Can you please point me where is that config file stored (the one ou delete)?

Little update after tonight update - pic1 AOCS reads my briefing at the start of mission only when Auto brief is selected..When i set my freq to 284 am, and press tx buton and ask crsytal palace for status or briefing nothing..Only in my VA i get text in pic2

Maybe you could try and chechk volume - click right mouse on volume icon in taskbar, and select "Open volume mixer" and check all sliders..Maybe one of them is muted?

Please explain how you got this working (the part of reading briefing)? I set up AM frequency, on 284 AM, and then push any of tx buttons and I say crystal palace status or briefing- - and i get no response at all? Other commands works fine..

@hollywood_315 Some thing i noticed in manual, so if you can please correct them: 1. keyword reference table -under column "remarks" on some of the items there is text "Profile cmd see page 38" - but it points to page 38 which has topics HELP PAGE, RESET PAGE (wrong page reference) 2. explanation of EX tab page 31 - these two i just can't figure * [AIRIO] Show Messages --> Displays on-screen call confirmations and options / hints for Jester/Iceman voice commands. * [AIRIO] Hints Only Displays messages only for incomplete commands: instructions for correct voice command usage is shown on screen The second explanation is little blurry - it shows messages only of incomplete commands - instructions for voice command is shown on screen ? Where on screen - inside VA screen, or on my DCS monitor screen ? Can you please add picture for explanation of difference? 3. Can you please add separate topic only for update procedure? For us that have all configured, how to properly and only update the current setup? Because like the topics are wrtitten now in manual, i am at lost every time i need to make update 4. also add the part abut where are trained speech files stored, and explanation that they are independent , i.e. when removing VA from PC, speech training files are still there on a PC

Ok now i have new problem - with crystal palace command...I set my freq to 284AM, and when i sys crsystal palace status, i get message in VA window that command is recognized, but there is no briefing at all? Do i have to place AWACS in mission with freq 284 AM for crystal palace status to work? Edit: I tried with and without added awacs on 284AM, but id still doesn't work..

You just helped me - i was wrong about using select funtion..I used Select stennis and it didn't work - i should use Stennis Select or Texaco Select - and then it finally woked!!! Thanks!!!

Hi, i have two problems: 1. after latest update i have this error (in attachment) when opening editor tab and clicking on Finish button? How to fix? 2. i dont use instant select radio, but use Select tunes radio, and i have easy comms off - when i say select tanker, or select stennis, nothing happens - i tried using com1 and com2 tx buttons, and also ICS tx button but all the same..How can i get jester to tunes radio on select stennis command? Do i have to press only ICS TX button or if other - which one of TX buttons ? I tried all but it doesnt work 2a.For example "link host stennis" works all the time 3.How to install hotfix?
