  1. Will definitely give this a try.
  2. Hi there! I´ve just got back into DCS with the fantastic Phantom II and the Cold War map. My system is pretty low end (AMD 5600X, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3070 8GB), but with resonable settings, I manage to get 70-110 fps with good visual results. I use DLSS and clouds set to ultra. And especially during dusk and dawn, the clouds look pretty low res, and are wobbling (moving up and down) when using Track IR. Why is that? Thx a lot in advance! DCS 2025-04-22 13-37-27-05.bmp
  3. Perfekt. Thanks a ton. I'll definitely give that a go tonight.
  4. Ok. That sounds encouraging. So what do I have to do? Start Steam VR and the sim, and then?
  5. Hi there. Does the DCS non Steam version work with the PSVR2? I've got the headset working without issues in Steam VR. So, what do I need to use my DCS install with the PSVR2?
  6. Hey guys, I've uninstalled the Falklands map, which gave me 85GB of SSD space. I've used this map quite seldomly, so it was the easiest way to gain some space. The update shrunk down to 147GB after the uninstallation, and it's downloading now.
  7. Wow. That sounds very doable. Never heard of USB M.2 dongles. Definitely going to have a look at that option. Thx a ton.
  8. Thanks a lot. I was really quite shocked. But I guess we can be very happy, that DCS is patching our sim so actively... The prices of good SSDs are pretty low nowadays. But I have only two M.2 slots on my current mainboard. So upgrading is not that easy...
  9. Yeah, I've noticed that with previous updates. But this time, it definitely wins the record with 200GB...
  10. I'll buy a new system next year anyways. So probably, I'll try uninstalling things. Thx a lot for your input.
  11. Wow. That's really huge. My install should be half the size I guess. My other drive in the PC is equally full with racing sims, only 170GB left. So I guess I'll have to uninstall things that I rarely use and give it another go. Thanks a lot for your help.
  12. Hi there. I haven't updated my install in 3-4 months (many modules are installed), and yesterday, I wanted to update it to the most recent version. My sim SSD has around 157GB of free space left. But the installer tells me, that it is unable to download the update (almost 200GB) due to insufficient space. So, what are my options here? Thx a lot in advance.
  13. Oh my... Just wanted to check the forums to see at which time it will be released today, and now... It's truly not the end of the world, but I'm pretty disappointed nonetheless.
  14. I finally found the time to install the latest 2.9 beta. My 2.8 install was 557GB in size, and the latest beta is 12 GB smaller.
  15. Thanks a lot. I will have a look later. Probably going to install it tonight.
