  1. One more question for Mission 3 (Artillery + two bridges) It is clear that I have to destroy SAM and AAA next to artillery near the dam. OK. Then I got message "Artillery is done, go to bridges" Destroyed bridges but did not get message like in the Mission 2 "bridges were destroyed, RTB". Decided to check, went down and was killed by Air Defense next to bridge . Should I receive message that bridges are done in Mission 3 or I have to do BDA by myself? But to be honest I was as well waiting F-18 will do SEAD next to dam UPDATE: my apologies, all messages received ( artillery + 2 bridges) so everything worked as expected. And only now realized I actually passed Mission 2-2. Mission Don't blink - my next Also - if you will do any polishing for campaign. It would be good to have all "photos" in the knee pad and maybe change "style" of briefing pictures on the left? I mean photos are good but first page - big red letters. It does not look like DCS hardcore style but some Xbox pew-pew arcade
  2. Yes, it is good idea but better to keep it more "close to earth". I do not think they said "Civilians do not understand that it is our life to fight wars thousands miles from home .... ", c'mon, really? I bet it would be "Damn brass sent us to that <profanity> hole for X-mas! Again? No, I understand it is part of the job and let's say <occupational hazard> but two years in a row? WTH?" BTW, passed Mission 2. It actually was as I would like it to be. Two bridges destroyed with gbu-38 from above the cloud. Couple of Mavericks to mess with advancing columns. I would like it would be in the briefing to be honest -no ability to choose weapon: "Your task - two bridges, use gbu-38, then if fuel permits - hit couple of vehicles in different columns to slow them down." "Weapon - 3 gbu-38, 4 Mavericks" If you definitely want Mission like "free hunting" in you campaign I suppose it would be better separate mission. For example after bridges we could have "Columns scattered somewhere around bridges, weapon of your choice, find and destroy. Refule and rearm on any <blue> airfield" But this is just a suggestions
  3. Thanks for quick response. Could you please clarify one more question? If BD will prepare the upgrade\fix of campaign then how I will get it? Will I have to do anything manually like download and replace some files or it will be normal DCS World upgrade?
  4. Just started campaign, no negative feelings, I like it. Someone said conversation about wedding is not relevant but I think opposite. They are alive people and can chat about anything, even about practical jokes last night. No PDFs, I can live without that but Mission 2 for example has mistake with bridge photos. The same bridge on two different photos marked as bridge 1 and bridge 2. Let's say intelligence officer made a mistake ( make mission more realistic ) But task itself - destroy bridges and as many enemy vehicles as possible. I would prefer: Mission 2 - destroy bridges, Apaches will do the rest. So you take weapons for AA suppression and for two bridges. Mission 3 - Apaches had problems and could not destroy enough. Your task - destroy at least half enemies next to bridges which were destroyed in the previous mission. In such case I would see some gradual progress in campaign. And one more good feature to add (by my opinion), probably not for this campaign but for others. I saw it in some other old camping in one mission only though - side chatter. I mean I heard how Overlord directed some other flight to some other target which is completely irrelevant to my mission. And that flight responded, some thing like, done, RTB and so on. It gives you feeling you are not entirely alone and you do not need to setup specific freq to hear other flights, Overlord kind of common. I did not finish Mission 2 yet, maybe I will hear Apaches....
  5. @King39, FYI - everything works for me. Mission 1 and 2 ( just started) Can talk to ATC and Wingman. No "easy comms". Just spent some time to find out which radio it actually wants. Of course "campaign" wing-man sounds differently from "AI" wing-man but he\she obeys commands anyway. Tried to force wing-man RTB and then rejoin formation. It worked.
  6. I will prepare track later today but actually there is nothing in that track. Mission "hot start up" started=> setup frequency=>call ATC-=>got response Mission "cold start up" started=> battery ON=> Inverter On=> setup a frequency=> call ATC=>silence=>start moving=>hear ATC but still cannot transmit I use the same button for both cases: cold and hot starts. Update - Module itself is OK I think. My apologies. I can use radio in my hand-made "cold start "mission and in mission from some campaign. I found that APU should be switched ON for that. Radio does not work from battery only. But still have issue in attached track - it is mission from "The Enemy Within 3" campaign Thank you glitch.trk
  7. Good day Test case: Kobuletti. When I create a mission with "Take off ... hot" - everything is OK, radio works. When I create a mission with "cold start" - radio does not work. Actually I can hear but cannot transmit So if I start moving ATC will tell "Cleared for taxi..." and then I can hear all other their commands. But they cannot hear me. So when I ask "Request to startup" - nothing. No mods.
  8. When I create a mission with with cold start up - radio does not work. With "Take off ... hot" - radio works. Update: In my test I can talk to ATC after APU started but not in Mission 02. I will send trk to support
  9. Thank you for advice. Actually it is clear that you can perform take off and landing without talking to tower. And "kill all <reds>" idea should work. But when I played TEW3 last time, once I did RTB without HUD and both MFDs and only way which I found to get back was HSI + asking tower for azimuth. Probably ADF should help in such situation if we cannot ask tower. You know, Mission 1 was OK so I am still thinking I did something wrong. I think I did not do something with that on startup. I will try later today. null
  10. Hi Baltic Dragon. Could you please clarify one thing? You are fixing issues with TEW3 as I see. Will these fixes come with DCS upgrade or should be downloaded separately by any way? Decided to re-play campaign and see that "radio issue". Mission 1 - no issues Mission 2 - can hear everybody can talk to wing-man, cannot talk to tower but can hear it. Looks like "Request takeoff" -> silence->go to runway->"Unable claear bla bla bal" ->"You are cleared for take off". I think I can continue without talking to tower but people mentioned jtac as well. As I understand - if I switch on labels - I can finish mission even without jtac?

And court should say < it will be yours when you take it back by force>" ? And you will see 10000 excuses like "legally mine but current actual belongings bla bla bla "
  14. Это какой-то капец. Первую миссию летал раз десять, потом стал просматривать прохождение на Ютубе, чтоб знать чего ждать. Вторую миссию прошёл с первого раза, третью со второго(благодаря Ютубу). Четвёртая миссия это просто швах, делаю то же что и чел на Ютубе, так у него как по рельсам Элка заходит на цель, а меня как-будто в унитаз спустили, так болтает. И выход на цель не с таким курсом и скорость не та. Наверно что-то с головой. Может для L-39 оси надо менее чувствительными сделать? UPDT: Прошёл 4-ую миссию. Похоже поразить две цели достаточно на "зачёт".

  17. Passed Mission 15. The most intense mission so far for me. First time I landed after <bingo> and when I contacted tower they said me "Wait, Dodge-5 is landing".
  18. Lucky you. I had the same - my wingman flew away to shoot Su-25, then we did some fight with Flankers, shot one, other run away. Magic said:"Dodge -5, bla-bla-bla. Dodge-4 -RTB" I landed and got 50% success so have to fly again. I was sure that if agic says "RTB" it means "Mission Successful" but ... Problem that it is not clear why mission was not passed. Maybe I had to wait till Dodge5 kills someone else?
  19. Good day all. Part 1. 1993. Georgia asks Ukraine to help relocate refugees from Abkhazia, it happened in real life. In reality Ukraine sent 15 Mi-8 and 2 Ka-27. In the campaign we can use 15 Mi-8 and 2 Mi-24. Part 1- just people \ cargo movement in mountains. Maybe one \ two "military" missions to protect convoys. Refugees actually run away from the Abkhazian attack. Part 2. 2008. 08/08/08. Russian attack. Several missions to stop Russians advance. Can be finished as in reality after Russian stopped like in real life. What do you think?
  20. Ukraine will liberate Crimea soon. Maybe after that ED will add this old lovely Flanker-2 era map to DCS World.
  21. @baltic_dragon, thank you for update. BTW - https://www.baltic-dragon.net/ still thinks that F-16 it is copy of Mig-19 And that it would be delivered in Q2 2022. But we are still waiting. Your campaigns are great!

  23. Thanks FeeFifoFum. Looks like bug was between the keyboard and chair. I think I clicked "Quit" instead or "End mission" in debriefing. Now I struggle with Mission #2. Looks like it is very difficult for me. I can kill one Mig (and couple of Su-24 even) but other Mig always kills me. And damned night + blurry F-15c VSD. Previously (in Enemy Within) I rely on my wing-man a lot but now he dies even before me. To be honest I expected campaign would be easier. I read spoiler for Mission 2 and looks like I have to kill one Mig, increase distance between me and the enemy and wait till second Mig runs away I mean I expected I will try some mission 10 times in a row but I expected it would be Mission #7 or #8 but not #2 It would be good to be able to choose difficulty level for campaign but it is question to ED I suppose. But of course it is my problem. Your campaigns are great. Or maybe you can create let's say "kid's" version of campaign. I mean in Campaigns screen I will see two "The Georgian War" and "The Georgian War (Easy version for lazy buts)" where all enemies will be rookies in first half and a bit more experienced in the second part. For people who enjoy story more that actual fights and want to relax in the evening. Theoretically you should just change level and hope they will not crash to hills. Got F-16 and Syria (I hope my PC will manage them) just for your promised F-16 Gamblers I am pretty sure I am not alone who is waiting for it.

  25. Это да, не понятно как карты "грузят" комп. Вот жду кампанию от Дракона Балтики на Ф-16 в Сирии, то блин Сирия похоже самая большая карта. А Ф-16 сам по себе наверняка будет по-тормознутее Ф-15, Ф-5 и А-10. Наверное придётся скрор искать по форуму "Как перенести настройки на новый комп"
