iam getting the shoot cue all the time weather being 9nm out or 30 nm out my issues is they dont hit the target lol even though i have fired 4 at one:) guess i have to make them novice and usually they fill me with holes and have to retreat.

Ok now i feel like a idiot now, you kind of pointed me in the right direction, found out i had named 3 enemy units with mig21 so changed that mistake started the migs from the hangar. As i flew thru the trigger point check the view to check if they would spawn, yep they sure did one problem though lol they tried to taxi out with the door shut lol then they both ejected. Guess have to start them from the runway:)

thx for your help, thx but the issue i think is i believe that when i pass thru way point 2 which is my trigger point the migs should spawn at the end of the runway? when i pass thru the way point and select views etc i cant see them on being on the runway?

yep got the slew to work on the x and y axis button on the front of the throttle you just have to assign what buttons you want took me awhile to figure it out

got the same set up as you have and have no issues, but i didnt install the target gui all i had done is to plug it in and let the pc install the drivers etc. best bet is to try to set the buttons from the dcs adjust controls and dont use the target gui

Cant find the option to turn the ew to on, its always says off, must be missing a step some where

I seem to missing a step here some where since when flying into a trigger zone i made and exiting it it suppose to activated 2 migs but they never show up these are the steps i made in the mission editor 1 Selected the trigger zone along my flight path 2 trigger zone box type 1 once only event no event 3 conditions part of coalition in zone blue( new trigger zone) 4 action group activate (mig21) action group activate group21 in the aircraft selection put the migs on the enemy airfield started them on the ground, task was intercept, set the waypoints, ticked the late activation box

ok finally got it downloaded after cancelling the download restarting the pc and than continue on with the download

yea finally got it downloaded and installed went the long way around it, after it was stalled at 48 percent for ages and ages had to cancel the download and restarted pc than restarted the download and than took about a hour to download the other 50 percent

i agree hate these large updates mine is still going stuck on 48 percent for the past 7 hours, and i have downloaded large downbload from other flight sims addons eg rex sky force etc with no issues, its only related to dcs iam having issues with

trouble is if you hit disconnect it freezes and hangs and doesnt disconnect only way out of is to restart your pc

mine being download for over 17 hours now on 48 percent wish there was another way of updating, and yes this is my third attempt, did the clean and repair option

grrr same issue now twice i tried all night now and now its just hanging at 41 per cent for the past hour

How does one update the hornet to the latest version? does it come up on the module manager?

Have to agree with you on this 100 percent, as i just purchased the thrustmaster throttle and joystick ($180 Aust for both) and all i can say its now so much easier to carrier land etc can do the numbers without the aircraft pitching up and down which suggest my other joystick was so way off cal(its was about 8 years old) All i got to do now for the next hour or so is to map the buttons:)

thx for that yep since this is going to be my last upgrade and about to retire lol might as well get the latest whilst I got the money to spend lol so a I8700k with the gtx 1080ti 32gb ram with the 2 nvme drives with windows 10 would be good enough

yep that I was thinking of doing, since my pc is about 7 years old time for a upgrade of pc now to think of what is the best se up was thinking along this line I76700 32gb with a gtx 1080ti with windows 10 with 2 sd drives?

totally agree with you since he flew over 20 years ago you would forget some minor details. He has some agenda with this user and dont know what it is.
