Hi all need some help, I know how to do the case1 landing etc fly overhead the carrier 2000 than descend down to 800 feet fly to the right of carrier. Break to the left around 1 km past the carrier down to 600 feet 1.2 abeam from the carrier than descend down to 400 feet to land on carrier, I have no issues in doing this the issue is that iam not getting the landing clearance from atc to land I call atc to land around say in this case around 12 km from carrier it tells me to fly 018 for 9 qfe29.33 rwy33( I assume this means fly 018 for 9000 feet) for pattern altitude I fly to the carrier at 018 at angels9 and at 5kms from carrier to begin a circle the carrier at 5km distance after awhile I get a response from the carrier 10 tower roger brc is 24 signed is Charlie( in which I set the course to 240 ) this is where I get confused on the procedure to get landing clearance to land I than proceed to descend down to 800 feet behind the carrier around 6km to fly abean to check if if deck is clear etc and than proceed on case landing but I dont get any atc to land request? Obviously iam doing some thing wrong here. I have seen wags and jabbers tutorial on landing

thx for that helped a lot, couldn't figure it out :) one more thing iam stuck on I got the case 1 pattern down track, but stuck on the marshal approach. I contact marshal and says angel 2 etc so go down to angel 2 10 nm from ship than do a 5 nm circle around ship on 2nd circle I hear marshal say contact pattern go to button 7 etc. I take this is the time to descend and enter the pattern?

maybe but why does it happen random with no changes at all to resolutions?

I get is as well I don't get the green curser I the way I fix is simply use the rep[air option of dcs which solves my issues

Can some point me in the right direction being utube on how to do it, or some thing else. Since I have watch how to set a1 bombing to attack tanks etc but as soon as I add sams stupid a1 aircraft chicken out lol they drop they harms missile and high tail out of the area. this is the utube I havne been using but it doesn't work if u use sams

Hi been away from the hornet and after updating I cant seem to nail how to get the iff to work had no issue before with the diamond etc. I found out how the to use the manual mode where u hover the curser over the target and it will turn green above etc but before when I just lock the target it will be a diamond admittingly u didn't know if it was a friend or foe till the latest upgrade of course now u know. I had it once but I didn't know what I did:) so if some one can point me in the right direction
