  1. Your only option is to place them as static object aircraft.
  2. That's LMFAO hilarious!

  4. By that logic, a determined hacker can probably break the EDCE cypher too. So what's the point?
  5. How about this NineLine: For all these encrypted assets provide the following in a new forum section called "MISC PAINTKIT DATA". It could be further organized into LAND/SEA/AIR/STATIC subsets. 1 - Default Description.lua 2 - Complete ARG list PDF 3 - Default asset livery folder name for Saved Games 4 - Unencrypted default textures set This still protects the 3D model IP and gives livery makers the ability to access the info they need to make new liveries. I would gladly volunteer to assist in this effort, and I am sure so would many others.
  6. ED has effectively terminated community skin creation for all of the new 3D model assets through encryption of shape and texture folder assets. Modelviewer 2 cannot open these EDCE files. Therefore, there is no way to derive the default Description.lua of a 3D shape file which is essential to creating skins. Additionally, without Modelviewer 2, you cannot easily view and test work in progress liveries without running DCS proper to view the unit being skinned. That is a completely untenable workflow process. The justification for this encryption action as posted on these forums is questionable. Is monetization of DLC livery "skinpacks" coming next?
  7. You can't open the new B-1/B-52/S-3/F-5 in MV2 ... EDMs are encrypted!
  8. Completed
  9. It would be nice to view ALL aircraft/ships/land units in ModelViewer 2 to aid in skin development. Making skins is now a tedious task that sucks all the fun out of making liveries. Remove this unnecessary barrier to artistic freedom ED!

  21. No worries ... I love the module. As you can now see: You guys did a great job!
  22. Calm down. If I'm making static skins, I don't need to sort through a 1000 ARGs to find the ones applicable to skin creators. A gouge like this is perfectly acceptable and useful. I'm well aware of the LUA file.
  23. Great job II.JG1_Vonrd! Here's a few more ARGs of possible interest. Excel list included. null HB-F-4-ARGs.xlsx
