  3. I don't quite understand this statement, but if you're just trying to say this is the first version of Flaming Cliffs, I find this just confusing. Flaming Cliffs is Lockon version 1.1, right? A 'patched' Flaming Cliffs would be something like 1.11 or 1.1a, wouldn't it? Anyhow, IMHO, I just think that referring to something that the developer and everyone else calls version 1.1 as something else, is just going to confuse everyone.

  5. I did a test... So are you confirming that by adding my other bomber, that also removed the payload? Guess I'll have to go test all this out. Edit: I just tested this, and the only thing that would remove the payload on my original aircraft was changing the Task. I also added a wingmen, and he got the same payload as the original aircraft. I remove that wingmen, and my original aircraft still kept it's payload intact. I also added another flight. It started with a empty payload, but my original aircraft still kept it's payload. I removed that flight, and my original aircraft still kept it's payload intact.
  6. Yea, I had a problem the past few days where my other AI flights simply would not attack their targets. It turned out that after I created and successfully tested the mission (they DID attack their targets), I noticed that the Task was set to nothing, so I set it to Ground Attack. Then they STOPPED attacking their targets. ;( Brit_Radar_Dude told me that if I change the Task, the payload gets cleared out. So, they have NO bombs to drop. Well, I had originally set the payload so I never thought to check that again. But that was my problem! I re-added a payload and BOOM! They all attacked their targets just fine.

  8. Thanks for the reply guys. I finally fixed it. Stupid mistake. I had NO bombs loaded on the bombers. Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!! When I first made the mission, I did have bombs loaded and it did bomb my targets just fine. But when I added another bomber, it stopped working. Somehow the aircraft lost it's bomb load.
  9. I found a mission that WhiskeyRomeo made using the B-1b, and it did drop it's bombs. It had the attack waypoint at 30,000; 590kph; and 18km from the target. So, 5 mins ago, I just set my waypoints the same, and again... they just few over. My targets are many of the new static building units. I tried putting a non-static tank as the target, but again... that didn't help either. This is frustrating.
  10. I've had this problem before, but I can't remember what the cause was. I have a mission where a B-1B has an internal load of Mk84s and an attack waypoint. I have targets designated at the attack waypoint, but my B-1b bomber just gets to the attack waypoint and turns for home. It won't drop it's load no matter what I do. So, I changed it to a B52 and have the same problem. So, then I tried setting the altitude to 3000, then 4000, all the way up to 12000. That didn't help either. What's the problem with my mission???
  11. Which bomb is the nuke? I don't remember seeing or hearing about a nuke bomb. Also, which aircraft can carry it?
  12. Yea, that's a massive fire! I have a mission where I destroy an oil refinery and it had a huge long fire, but not that big. That looks so big it might be a bug. In the middle pic, you can see a tiny tiny fire in the parking area in the middle of that firestorm.
  13. When I create missions, I like to have a few battles going on in the distance as well. I want to see big and even small smoke plumes burning for a long time. Destroyed tanks only smoke for about 1 minute, so they are no good. Fuel Tanks and Ammo Dumps burn bigger and longer, so the battlefield looks very cool for a longer time. I'm not sure if the weapon used makes much difference. ? Can anyone give me any tips for creating more smoking battles on the battlefield? It just looks so much cooler. I'm looking to get more of this: Thanks!
  14. Nope, the Q does not work for me. I think I even tried the Ins and Del keys, but they didn't work either. I'll have to check into my key assignments. But the Q key does work for the A10. That's weird... Sorry, I guess I am not THE Snacko, only A Snacko. New and Improved. Anybody like a Snack? :icon_jook
  15. I'm used to pressing the Q key while flying the A10, but that doesn't work for me in the Su-25t.
  16. I flew one of the Stock Su-25t missions last night, and it had a Jammer Pod on each wing. Is it really necessary to have 2 pods loaded, or will 1 do?

  18. I have been getting the fence around the airports turning to neon sky blue when I get about 2-3 miles away after takeoff. It just looks like a light blue ring around the airport. Seems minor, but it happens every time for me. Examples: This has been happening since I got FC 1.1. I have a P4 3.0ghz, 1gig memory, ATI Radeon 9500Pro/9700

  20. I also have been using Enditall for about 2-3 years now. I tried FSAutoStart for about 5 minutes a year ago, but couldn't figure it out. But last Saturday I tried it again at the urging of WhiskeyRomeo. The How-to tutorial was short and fairly easy. It took about 30 minutes to id and set the Service and Programs, but then it worked great. I also tried the msconfig that this thread talks about. I tried that, Enditall, FSAutoStart, and also doing nothing before running the game. I also did the msconfig thing and also then did the FSAutoStart thing at the same time. I think this probably closed the largest number of running programs/services. But after all these tests I don't think I noticed more than 3-5 increase in fps, if even that much. But the game did seem more stable, and less studdering. For me, I'll probably stick with FSAutoStart. It closes much more than EnditAll, and has info about the programs/services you are deciding to close. And the big plus IMO is that it can restart stuff. I don't have to reboot to get things restarted. :cool:

  22. I am trying out FSAutoStart, and have created a profile. I set all the Services and Programs I want to kill. But I didn't set any application to run because I just want a generic profile to end unwanted programs. Then I will run the game I choose. How do I get FSAutoStart to automatically 'restart' the items I set to 'Stop & Restart'??? My profile just kills them all, and I don't know how to tell it to restart the ones I said to restart. Thanks... EDIT: Oops! I just tried it again and I saw that it said there was an error running my 'app', and then it re-started a bunch of stuff. So, I guess I have to specify an application to run even if I don't want to. Is there a way around this? Or is there a reason I shouldn't even be trying to use it this way?
  23. With EnditAll, you kill the programs then you exit Enditall. It doesn't need to continue running in the background. :smile:
  24. 1) The Manual also talkes about pressing Shift-O to get the distance/range to the target by using the laser beam. And it also talks about laser beam riding missles. Is this the same laser beam used for both these purposes? Or is there some 'fake' forward observer that is lazering a target for the laser beam riding missles? 2) When do you need to keep a target locked up after fireing a missle, and when can you just fire, forget, and attack a new target right away? I assume this depends on the missle, but just would like to clarify. Thanks M8...
