  1. There are supposedly over 5000 threads in this forum, but only 2 pages? This has confused me for a while now. Why are't there a ton more pages?
  2. I think the first one has to do with ForceFeedback. I think the second one has to do with how long stuff stays in the game after if is destroyed. There is a tool called the Lockon GUI Configuator, which is easy to use and lets you edit these values. I have not ever changed them on my system though. http://svartalv.narod.ru
  3. I don't understand your description of this mod. I just went to download it, and here is the descripiton at LockonFiles.com: "This adds trees, trucks, planes and many immersive objects in and around the airfields of Lockon. This is the High version for computers running High Scenes setting." You say it removes many buildings. But LockonFiles.com says it Adds trees, trucks, planes, ect... Does it do both? Also, how do you install it? Just copy it to Bazar/Terrains/Scenes and overwrite the existing file? (with backup first of course)
  4. I agree they should be easier to fly in games. I also tried my hand at flying choppers in MSFS9 and flying around at speed was fairly easy. But trying to land on a building was impossible for me. Just hoving in one spot is a challenge.
  5. Yea, I don't know what's up with that. I got it the first time too, but since then I see the pic fine.
  6. Some objects don't get shaded and do popup, but other than that I'm happy with it. But you need a pretty fast pc to really use fog. http://image16.webshots.com/17/3/66/27/183436627hzCGsY_fs.jpg
  7. I've been away for a while, but I thought the next version was going to add the KA-50 Russian chopper, not the Apache. Did something change?
  8. I haven't flown for a few months now. But would definetly come right back if we could use some of those other weapons.
  9. It says it's 638meg! Just send me the CD. ;)
  10. I found these yesterday... Ka-50 Cockpit as of 3/11/05:
  11. Thanks Paulie!! I just got back from my brothers near Cleveland, Ohio, and he had 100 people at his 4th of July party and shot off about $200 worth of fireworks. Had a great time!
  12. G_A, keep your helmet on and your head down for just 2 more months! Looking forward to more movies. The popcorn is popping... ;)
  13. The Mission Editor has only a 2D view. To really see how the object looks in the game, you have to click the Fly button and play the game to take a look.
  14. I'd like to have These guys build me one for free. ;)
  15. AA is Anti-Aliasing. It smooths those jagged edges you see at the edge of objects. It's a setting you can change in your graphics drivers software. I don't know why it looks grainy like that.
  16. IMO, it doesn't look very good. You can kind of see a pattern in the smoke. Have you tried AA?
  17. I love this mod!!! But one drawback I have found is that since these 'trees' are considered buildings, when placed next to your target, the 'trees' can become locked instead of your actual targets. I created a mountain base with lot's of trees around it, and when flying it, my mavs usually locked onto the trees next to the ammo dump and I missed my target.
  18. I think it really depends on how much you make at your regular job and how badly you want to build it yourself... You can most likely built a little better pc by doing it yourself. I have built many pcs in the past, but don't really want to spend the time anymore. I make good money and could work just a few hours at what I loke to do, to pay for someone else to put it together and test it for me. Plus, often you get some additional software with a purchased pc, and you don't have to spend more money on that if you built it yourself.
  19. Are you talking about the Tracks in Lock on, or the AVI movie files that it creates? If you're talking about the Tracks, you need to capture them as a movie file like .avi or .mpg. Lockon has a menu feature in the Misison Editor that will let you capture it as a .avi movie file.
