  1. Is there any way to tell in the game when I need to use the Laser? An indicator or something? Or do I just need to memorize the specific missile types?
  2. So missiles that are laser guided need it on. And other missiles can hit the target without it? Are those fire and forget type missiles?
  3. I just watched the Training mission for the Shkval, and it showed how to use the AC mode to lock on to targets. It talked about turning on the Laser Rangefinder, it gets hot and needs to cool down. But If I can lock on to a target before turning it on, what do I need it for? I can lock on to a target without it. I know it's a stupid question, there is surely a good use for it. But the training doesn't say as far as I can tell.
  4. I have 1.2a on my pc, and want to install version 1.1 so that the Training Tracks will play correctly. So, I want to install a 2nd copy in another directory. When I try to install from my LOFC 1.1 CD it won't let me change the install path. The 'Browse' button is disabled and I cannot change the path. So, I manually rename the current lockon folder to Lockon 1.2a, so it won't overwrite my current version. After the install, I double-click on the Lockon.exe on the Lockon folder (which is the 1.1 I just installed), and get this error: "This application has failed to start because vorbisfile.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." So, I reinstalled it, and it did not fix the problem. I even copied the dll from my old install folder but now it says ogg.dll is missing. So, I copy that over, and now it says vboris.dll is missing.... What is up with this????
  5. The thing that has always confused me was keeping track of which mods from 1.0 work in 1.1/1.2? My install is screwed up, and I think it's because of some mods that were not compatible. Loman says I have certain Mods installed, but they won't show up.

  7. I don't know about any limit on the resizing, but I'll put a note to check the code. Since I don't have the ability to resize it that large, all I can do is look at the code.
  8. I have not used the Active Modules yet, but I saw in the TouchBuddy.cfg file that you have to change a line to point to the Lomac output file. Did you do that? Other than that, Zorlac will have to help you.
  9. And the TouchBuddy Toolkit v1.3.0 The new 1.3.0 version has been posted in the Downloads Section ==>HERE<==. Be sure to use the same version number when using TouchBuddy and the TouchBuddy Toolkit, as they are designed to work together. Info. Screenshots: Info. Videos: 1) WBK's Toolkit Demo Movies: Create a Simple Profile Download videos here. The download contains 2 videos: Creating a Simple Profile - Create the graphics in just a few minutes, and the profile in even less time. Using the Simple Profile - This demo shows both the Touchscreen and the Game screen at the same time.Or watch these videos on Google Video here: Watch 'Creating a Simple Profile' on Google Video. Watch 'Using the Simple Profile' on Google Video. 2) Zorlac's Toolkit/TouchBuddy: Lomac Active Modules Demo Download Video Here. A short video showing how to add active modules in the Toolkit to an existing profile. In this case, it is adding active TEWS and simple payload modules. Then right after that, the movie shows these modules in game. (Even though it is mentioned in the audio, I would just like to mention again that the update speed of the active modules is a lot slower than normal due to my PC being hammered (playing the game, running FRAPs, running TB and Snaggit to capture the TB window). Normally the updates are once every second or so (depending on the entries in the touchbuddy.cfg file).)
  10. That's fine with me. You can have the .png files if you want too. Just PM me if you do.
  11. Ooooh. A first taste of my favorite A/C. Looks awesome Rugg!
  12. Nice Demo Z. Are there any IL2/PF Flyers here? I have a new profile for that sim that works with the next release (1.3). And also a music player Plugin that has several skins to look like old WW2 radios and Ham Radios.
  13. I'm doing this with TouchBuddy. I have a A10 profile that has a Startup macro that sends all those commands to set everything up before I get started.
  14. Hmm. I thought the title had changed for some reason. But your right.
  15. Great news on the new ME. I don't suppose there is a Dynamic Campaign Generator in the works too?
  16. Great. Thanks Rich. PS: Your website was the main one I recommended for his training. I told him to download the Getting Started 1 & 2, and any videos. Thanks for you great work. It makes it much easier for noobs like him and his son.
  17. I have a cousin 4 hours away from me who just bought an X52 and This Sim Bundle for his 12 year old son. I'm guessing this version is 1.02. In the options his does not show the Pitch, Roll, or Yaw Trim. Here is a screenshot of my system. He has a X52 and he read off the options in the list and it stopped at Zoom View. We both had the same ones down to that, but his list stopped. Since I have 1.1 FC I know he may not have all the same stuff I have. But why doesn't the Pitch, Roll, and Yaw Trim show up? We tried every switch and setting on that options page to filter the options but it didn't help. Any help would be appriciated.
  18. Did Mr. Wolf give up already? I hope not! But the site won't load. I'll try later. Thanks Mr. Wolf!
  19. Hey zenTera, I also posted screenshots of 'some' of the new toolkit features here. I didn't go into them all because in addition to screenshots, an explaination of zorlac's new features would be needed. But I am well into a brand new Toolkit Help file that will explain a lot. And I want it to be very accessable because even I get confused sometimes on the difference between a toggle button, or a touch button, etc sometimes!...
  20. Hmmm. That's interesting. I didn't realize it had actual lights on the end of the 3 tips. So, it takes a battery I assume?
  21. TouchBuddy Toolkit Demo/Tutorial Video I have created a video to show how to use the basic features of the Toolkit to create a simple profile for use in TouchBuddy. Download videos here. The download contains 2 videos: Creating a Simple Profile - Create the graphics in just a few minutes, and the profile in even less time. Using the Simple Profile - This demo shows both the Touchscreen and the Game screen at the same time. The Downloaded video quality is better, but you can also watch these videos on Google Video here: Watch 'Creating a Simple Profile' on Google Video. Watch 'Using the Simple Profile' on Google Video.I hope this will help get some of you started at trying the Toolkit and making profiles for your games. PS: A Help file for the Toolkit is also currently in the works and should make it much easier to use many of the cool features of TouchBuddy. Thanks, WBK
  22. Well, he's getting it for his kids for XMas and he's 5 hours away from me, so I can't really try it out. Plus he's a total noob. I just wanted to give it to him to try. Maybe that's all I can do.
