Dear forum members, We are considering a move from individual Missions and Campaigns areas for each product to a single Missions and Campaigns forum under Sim Topics. Your opinions as to how to best organize this new area are welcome. Specifically, how to best merge the already existing threads in the current product-specific forums and at the same time account for current and future products and their associated missions. We could do "generation" based sections, such as: - Missions and Campaigns --- P-51D (presumed) --- A-10C/Black Shark-2/FC3 (presumed) --- FC2/Black Shark 1.0.2 --- FC1 Or we could do flyble-based sections, such as: - Missions and Campaigns --- Multiplayer --- P-51D --- A-10C --- Ka-50 --- FC Thoughts and ideas welcome. Thank you.

As long as your controllers are configured correctly in the Input Options, they should work well. If you haven't already done so, try to go through the "A-10C Real" input profile and make sure all of your axes and buttons are mapped correctly - and that nothing extra is mapped where it should not be (like throttle controlling pitch and roll). Finally, make sure Game Mode is OFF in Gameplay options.

What kind of OS are you running? 32 or 64 bit? Would be useful for you to do a test to see if the Su-25 model shows up normally in other missions. Perhaps you could go into the Mission Editor and just plop down a single SU-25 on the map and hit the Fly button to see it will work. I'm suspecting the issue may be that, if you're on a 32-bit system, it simply runs out of memory and cannot load the 3D model.

There aren't any known bugs in the missions, which should stop them from being completed successfully. If you would like, you can upload a track of your flight and we can see if something went wrong in your mission.

That sounds strange and like a local problem with your installation. Maybe you have some mods that may have affected the Su-25 3D model? I would suggest a fresh install.

Почему секреты? Просто еще не доведено до уровня, когда можно видео выпускать. Звук только-только добавили и еще прорабатывают. Скриншоты же были. Все в свое время. А "вот у меня... и не покажу" тут не причем и не стоит это так принимать. Наоборот, я сочувствую тем, кто не сильно верит в этот продукт, т.к. в вакууме наверное сложно понять его. Но я думаю что стоит ему дать шанс и он тоже завоюет свою аудиторию и свое место в серии.

Doh! Sorry, I misinformed you. In fact the map is not moving. It just allows you to cycle through different "pages", which is to say center the view on consequtive route waypoints and switch scales. That's it. Now to change the FAQ.

Я думаю что многие кто сейчас с трудом понимают этот продукт (за что я не виню, хотя хотелось бы увидеть немного больше оптимизма и меньше преждевременного ругательства), полюбят мустанг. Трудно передать в словах, но я вот сейчас немного полетал с новой озвучкой движка и честное слово - улыбка до ушей. Это просто интересный, веселый и горячий крафт, сделанный в лучших традициях ИД. Полет - песня. Да, в боях против современников смысла мало (хотя для прикола тоже можно), но это не значит что этот продукт не имеет новых и интересных предложений для коммюнити. Посмотрим что там получится, но я надеюсь увидеть чемпионаты по воздушному бою, а также гонки. Во всяком случае потенциал для этого есть. Впрочем, чемпионат по догфайтинг уже анонсировали для мустанга, посмотрим что из него выйдет.

Q: Will we be able to adjust gun settings, such as ammo and convergence range? A: The DCS P-51D guns are boresighted by default according to standard USAAF guidelines for the Mustang, but adjustment will be possible through a combination of the payload editor and the LUA configuration files. Q: Does the DCS P-51D include any modern avionics? A: The only modernized element of the DCS P-51D will be the pilot 3D model, which is based on a contemporary pilot's flight suit and head gear.

Hi all, As you probably noticed, we've made a few changes to the forum structure. Our goal was to accomodate the lively discussion of the recently announced DCS Mustang and at the same time save some vertical space on the front face of the forum. The specific changes include: - opened a new DCS: P-51D Mustang forum for discussion of this upcoming product - moved the A-10C Tech Support sub-forum inside the DCS A-10C general forum and renamed it Bugs and Problems - moved 3D modeling inside Mods and Apps - moved Home Cockpit inside Input and Output. Why the heck was your landing gear down? :) To fire external weapons, you need to press the Weapon Release Button, or RAlt+Space. -

I'm not sure about producer's notes, but I would have no doubt that more PR media will be released as we move forward. Also, as Etherial already said, we are considering some updates to the forum structure to accommodate new projects.

So it's clear, I did not intend my messages about repeated posting to be directed at you specifically. In fact, my original post was directly addressed to another user, who had already repeated his opinion multiple times in this thread, which I felt had no purpose other than repetition. I hope we will stop the moderation discussion with this. If you feel inclined to continue it, please do so via PM. As to your other points, we understand you may disagree with ED's business decisions and product development. We strive to ensure that all of our products deliver a high quality and lasting gaming experience that is at least fair (IMHO far, far better than fair) for the price asked.
