I wonder if the raw power of the 780ti makes it need less vram? It would suck to spend $700 only to get stutters.

When I was searching to get a new Gpu, I saw a lot of reviews saying just get the 2Gb Gtx 760 because you will not benefit from the extra ram. I made a mission and Msi Afterburner showed Gpu1 max 97% with max ram at 3490 and Gpu2 max 95% with Max ram at 3490. I definitely think it was a benefit to get the 4Gb. The Gtx 780ti should be more than 3Gb, in my opinion.

I have had 2 monitors Top/Bottom. Set it up in Nvidia control panel for top/bottom and extend these displays. Make both monitors the same resolution. Figure out the resolution of both monitors combined (2x height, width is the same) and type that in the Dcs options resolution screen, select one monitor. I don't remember if you check full screen or not. My monitors were adjusted so the bezels overlapped. It was a good set up because I could easily see the radar/mdf screens without moving my head. I did not have to mod any lua files, I didn't use touchscreen. My screen resolution is 1824x1026 adjusted for the bezels. My resolution would be 1824x2052.

I was surprised when watching a youtube video of the Eurofighter Typhoon to hear the computer give a low fuel warning because it was flying inverted. Is this normal in modern fighter aircraft? I have never heard this in any F15, F16 or F18 videos. Does the Typhoon have a fuel/time limit when flying inverted?

Thanks for the suggestion cichlidfan. $50 is a little steep to set up my wallpaper across both screens. I thought it might be a Windows command.

I use dual monitors top and bottom. My screenshots only take a shot of the primary monitor. I have tried print screen + windows key and print screen + alt but it hasn't worked. This is on Windows 8.1. Any suggestions? Notice the Ai Dora has a broken prop but made it home safely? The track shows the prop spinning til engine shut down. Thanks

I am upgrading my Gpu and would like to benchmark my old card vs new using track files for DCS World and WOT. I want to play a track and record the fps and video ram used but can't find the software to do it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks

I am running two screens with a gtx 560 ti 2gb. I see in Msi Afterburner that my ram gets maxed out. Both gpu processor and ram. I can go from 100 fps to 0. The screen just sits and waits to catch up. I would go for more vram if possible.

Can the tanker use multiple probes at the same time in game? edit: Yes, my next mission had two probes out but they didn't take fuel on. Ejected. In my mission, If AI hooks up with the tanker, they never get enough fuel. Planes stack up behind and end up ejecting. When I look at the mission log, of the plane that hooked up, it takes like ten minutes to load. It says refuel, then refuel stop and reports this multiple times in less than a second on the time log. Am I missing a step in the editor? This happens even when the tanker is flying straight. I want to edit the labels. I have done it before using notepad++ but now it isn't working. I want to change the aircraft label distance from 400m to 800m. Wouldn't I just edit config/ view/labels and change 400 to 800 in notepad++ and save? This used to work for me. Thanks for helping.

Am I blind? In the mission editor, I see a tab, Add or modify a static object. It has a picture of a bridge, I think. I don't see a bridge in the list of objects. Can I put a bridge using the editor? Thanks

Any way to have all the units start the missions at their home bases? Instead of being fully engaged while I am still requesting ground power. I guess I am interpreting the "fast" wrong. I thought it meant fast creation of the mission. Not get your ass in the air before it's over.

I do not see that option. By start menu entry, do you mean the page that has the instant action, campaign, module manager options? I just started playing again after a computer upgrade. My version doesn't have an option to update on that page.

My launcher is in DCS World > bin. When I clicked on it, it started to update. I had the game open by accident and it couldn't update because the files were in use. Now if I click on the update file it opens up the game launcher instead. Will it reset itself after 24 hours or is the file corrupt?

I upgraded to Windows 8 from 64 bit Vista because my system was taking 10 min to boot after a hardware upgrade. Now it boots fine but in the process most of my games now will not work. It put all my Dcs stuff in Windows.old. I get the error MSVCP100.dll is missing. I installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 to fix, but no luck. I am worried if I do a fresh install I wont be able to ever use Flaming cliffs 3, since it needs Lock on to run. That wont run on windows 8 and I uninstalled it. Fixed it. Re-install latest video driver using custom settings (Not Express) and check clean install box. Woohoo. Thanks for your help.

Why is the GTX 690 that low? That doesn't seem correct?

Can I have separate modifier profiles for different aircraft? I had the A10c mapped before DCS World but never mapped it for world. Then I purchases FC3 and mapped the F15c. Now when I bring my A10 profile into world I lost a modifier button. When I try to remap it that button doesn't show up? Does the modifier file have to be global for all aircraft? Thanks. Never mind, I figured it out, forgot about my throttle modifier. No more red buttons.

My advice is forget projectors. I have had a Panasonic and a Viewsonic running on a 110" screen. It was always my dream. In reality they don't look near as good as a big lcd/plasma and are a pain in the ass. I have had bulbs explode, burn in, a power supply failure and have taken them apart 100 times. Heat is an an issue if you don't have air conditioning in the room. Replacement bulbs are expensive and the hours go fast. Your wife will probably bitch when it breaks or when you have to buy a $300 bulb every 6 months, ha. Companies do not support projector parts for long, either. Getting them fixed by a professional is pointless as it would cost less to get a new one. Just get 3 50"+ TV's, trackir and sit closer. That's my plan when funds allow. The clarity and brightness of a projector at 1080p does not compare to a good TV. Especially in this game genre, where you are searching for a dot 10 miles away.

If I lock up someone who is jamming how/when can I identify friend or foe? If they are friendly will it show the x in the target designation box even when they have ecm on?

Can somebody upload their track file so I can see how to complete this campaign mission for training purposes? I need to learn how to employ the radar and squad better. I keep gettin' blowed up. Thanks.

When I tell my wingman to RTB he gets stuck in a holding pattern in multiple missions. I played the instant action intercept F15c. Did the mission, told him to RTB, landed and left it running for an hour and he still is holding. Anyone ever had a wingman land after the mission? Also, When I ask the tower permission to taxi, my wingman says rolling and starts moving before I get cleared. I waited for the tower, on the mission where you start in the hanger and got trapped by my wingman.
