I ended up going with a 1TB Mushkin Reactor. It is only $230 @ newegg and it was on my wishlist. They sent me a coupon for $20 bucks off. Now I finally have my OS on an SSD. Oh, the glorious boot times. Worth it.

I think this setting only effects video playback. Not sure though. Anyway, I guess that wasn't the fix because my video flickers are back. I will never do SLI again. It is such a PITA and nothing is optimized for it.

I wanted to post for people who get sli set up and get video flickering while through the browser. I figured out, after a while, I had use inverse telecine checked in Nvidia control panel. It is under video>adjust video settings. On a side note, I had sli set up in Nvidia control panel but it wasn't working after checking Msi afterburner running the SteamVR test. I had to set it up in Nvidia Inspector under the black shark profile and link it to my desktop shortcut. With 2 gtx 760's 4gb, I got a whopping score of 0 in the SteamVR test with Sli. With one card I get .2. In DCS, using one card I get 30 fps and Sli 40fps with high settings.

It isn't fixed for me. I am on the same patch and posted just after ejecting on the 104th server in an F-15. The camera followed the seat the whole way down.

Hopefully, this will be fixed by the time Oculus and VIVE are available. I am looking forward to first person ejection in VR.

Demon do you have that one? I have seen some articles saying to stay away from 3 TB as they have had issues. Not sure why though.

Any suggestions for a good 4TB HDD? I have Dcs on a 840 pro SSD but I need space for other stuff and decent speed for other games would be nice. Thanks

King of the hill mission Thanks for putting the server up. This and ACG are the best. Please change the King of the hill mission. It is not long enough, imo. Take off, restart, take off, DCS crashes, get back in, restart.:joystick:

I am not sure how this works but I believe the 1.5 skin versions have the spec layer reversed. Meaning, the spec layer gets rendered on top of the graphics layer. In 1.2 and before versions, I believe the spec layer rendered first. All my P51 skins look jacked up.

SLI 1.5? My fps stays the same with one card or two? Vsync is off. Are we supposed to get a SLI fps boost with 1.5? Anybody else have the same result?

The skin spec layer seems to be rendered on top of the normal layer. Is this the opposite pre 1.5? The screenshots are both 1.5. The one with the non shiny front has had the spec layer changed from pink to grey. Is this an error or will the pre 1.5 skins spec layer need to be redone?

HiJack, is this your server or are you an admin? Are you sure it is enabled because I couldn't get my G-Seat to work on it? I am trying to figure out if it is a software issue or just the fact that no servers allow export data. Thanks.

Good post @ nervousenergy. Gavagai, I believe your results are skewed because most people who reply on this forum are more hardcore than the average user. What name or title do you use for your server? What hours do you usually have it up? Everyone says they want 100% realism but every time I get in multiplayer most of the people are too lazy to taxi to the end of a runway for take off. Especially, in WW2 servers. As soon as, the engines are fired, full throttle to take off. I think if you want bigger numbers, have the area of operation around 5 minutes away. Most of us suck and flying 15 minutes in an over-matched plane to get shot down in 3 turns is demoralizing after multiple tries. Ain't nobody got time for that. Have the area around the airfields covered in AA so you can't get near the opposing field. It sucks to go through start after start up just to get vulched. Turn the map icons on for everything but no labels. The spotting is just not good enough and it can still be a chore to actually find the bandit. In reality, we would all be flying in a group with Comms and know the general direction of the enemy. All the while, receiving updates from other groups. Online most fly lone wolf due to time constraints on real life. Is it possible for ramp start up on one airfield and runway start on another? Teamspeak should be optional. Every time I bother getting into teamspeak (on DCS) either nobody is there or it is just a couple of people blabbering on. We don't want a play by play of your flight with incorrect military jargon interspersed. These are just my opinions, I am not trying to be a heretic.

Do any multiplayer servers enable data export? I realize some people use tacview to cheat and this is why most do not enable it. I am hoping for some combat servers that allow it. I need the export to run my Geko Gseat online.

Tom couldn't you adjust it to a reasonable level? After looking around it seems to be the easiest option so I ordered one. Thanks for the feedback.

Is the Buttkicker 2 powerful enough in your opinion or would you purchase a separate transducer and a more powerful amp? How many transducers would be optimal for DCS? Could you recommend better transducers, amps and a good sound card? Thanks for your input.

How can i tell if my Nav/taxi lights are on in the cockpit, since I can't see past the seat? Sometimes when I arm/rearm online the crew doesn't respond when they are done and we can't see around the seat. How do I make sure I am loaded up? I saw R77 on the Hud after start up with the dashes, so i figured I was good but when I was engaged and went to fire nothing happened. I would just fly the Su27 but I think it is handicapped online without R-77's and everyone using aim120's. Thanks for the help.
