I joined the Mirage fest today and here is what I experienced. 1. Lag is still here. So many missiles missed due to lag. I had 3 M2000s on me and I think I drained all their missiles. 2. Helicopters seem to have stutters when flying them. 3. Imbalance. Everyone wants to be a reaper and steam roll the map. Can we just make a player vs environment for these types. Was 2 vs 12 and guys were typing BLUE in chat. We saw this same thing at one time with RVE until they started going red and splitting. Need incentive to join red. 4. M2000 fest is still here. When red did get some numbers there were only 2 su27s, 1 F15 and about 14 m2000s. Not sure how ya fix this other giving su27s ERs . Would then give red a small advantage but not a bad thing with number imbalance. This setup works pretty good on Bison in 104th. I suggest either DL or ERs but not both. Or take m2000 out completly(think of mission units it would save). Giving red the m2000 is not helping getting blue to go red. Its only making more su27 pilots fly the m2000 for the 530. 5. Viggens had some loadout issues. Will need to talk to viggen guys about that. -

Something I would like to see in the future for helis is to place IR sams like SA9,SA13 or Chaprall. Of course this would mulit crate like SA6. Its to easy to drain a Sa6 or just fly low under its radar. The iglas work but you need so many of them. I believe the IR vehicles would fill a void in the helis defense. -
Can we get rid of spectator view on this server. You can see all planes. Can do this by just editing options file in mission. Change this part

I am also having this problem in 1.5.7. I was in ACG server today and I seen the button move, Heard the sounds but seen nothing. It was also not coming out of inventory when I went to rearm. Still said I had 40 flares.

I too like the helos on 104th. I wish capturing Farps gave us spawn slots kind of like Blue flag, but other than that they are very fun. If you haven't joined Team speak jump on. There is usually some guys on TS flying helos.

Just flew this server today for first time. What a blast!! Had fun in the F5. Next Ill try the Mig21. I hope you dont enable the labels mod. Kills the sim aspect imho. I had no problems finding targets and being found today. That is part of it.

Im sick of the 104th and cant wait for BF to come back. I find myself hardly playing DCS when BF is down. I really wish ED would make multiplayer a higher priority. MP is what will keep us around long term. -
30C in Vegas is to much for the Citation I fly in real life. No climb performance.

I have had my CH products well over ten years. I lost count really. I went through many Saiteks until someone in the Aces High forums steered me to a CH setup. CH just works. I haven't even taken apart and cleaned any of my HOTAS/Pedals. That was Aces High 1. That is how long ago I purchased my setup. Im curious now. Think it was 1999 or 2000.

There was nothing blue on Krymsk. I played the replay with labels on. Somehow it bugged out. No troops spawned but everything was destroyed. The airfiled turned red because a red huey dropped a igla before all blue units were destroyed. After blue units died airfield became red before blue troops spawned. Not sure if that hurt the script or not. Also noticed pak intel said airfield was at 6% but there was nothing left on airfield. -

At night Red does outnumber blue but there is still blue on. As you seen today at Krasnodar, one red can stop your push. In fact two RVE guys is all it took to stop blue. Good thing they weren't blue this time. I give credit to TWB and RVE guys for switching sides or it would be all blue like it used to be a couple of rounds ago. Numbers were actually even today after blue started logging off. I am guessing they didn't want to fly the far distances required to reach the front today. Usually the front is within 60nm for them. Sorry if I offended you ApoNOOB. Of course it was only my opinion. I have played both red and blue quite a bit. What I see is Red likes to capture and defend. They seem to have more dedicated helo pilots. Blue likes to furball. They don't seem to care as much about the fronts and just up fighters. Like Crasho said, it was only two of them capturing bases. Blue does seem to have better communication but less organization. Only the day shift when its 30 blue vs 10 red do I see things getting coordinated until they start to meet resistance. Again this is just my opinion from playing on both sides and getting to know the players. This is me generalizing and not all blue are furballers and not all red are capers. -

Thrud, I have been playing for a very long time. I know it shifts, but blue has the majority by far. The difference is red doesn't need that much of player count to start to get things going. Blue needs less than 5 red on to do anything. -

This is what kills me with blueflag. Do I login to a gang bang or circle jerk? Maybe we need a PVE setup for blue players. I just don't understand why blue is so dedicated to one side. I would like to fly the gazelle sometime but cant justify going blue with the numbers being so one sided. But then there is days like this where I don't want to even log on. Next round Ill be selfish and go blue and play PVE Whine complete! -

Playing on Red lastnight I seen our troops (red) spawned from Urup on the back side of hill in a heavy green area. I thought man, blue is going go have a heck of time finding these troops in the future. -

Find a mod where it changes troops camo to desert. Same goes for vehicles. -

Yes you did. I have the track to prove it. Why lie? You might not of flown it, but you joined the slot. TJ is correct. The server pauses when someone joins Mistral. Very easy to duplicate. Have friend jump in mistral. This is a pause, but not sure if it causes lag or not. The hawk did the same thing when it was in BF. IMHO the mistral is not the cause of the lag. I still think unit count may be the problem. When people disconnect and connect their side needs to sync up with server side. With thousands of units in the mission that is alot of syncing to be done. I know all the ME units are not all active at one time but client side still needs to find that out through the syncing process. At the time of adding DL and gazelles we also populated more airfields and farps. I think we have gone over the limit of units. What that number is, is anyones guess. I also really don't think its any scripting causing the lag. The lag would be more consistent if so. There are many MP missions out there with gazelles and DL that don't have the lag BF has. I have not seen any missions with the unit count even close to what BF has. I hope in the future we can find that magic number. Here is an idea of just how big BF really is. Looking at the popular Bison on 104th. It has a total of 19,000 lines in the mission script, compared to BF's 180,599. -

I really wish airfields were being removed and not farps. Some great battles over farps. I love flying the mistral but also suspect it to be a cause of lag. Not sure why but whenever someone joins any gazzle everyones game freezes for a second. Also the timming of lag being introduced again was close to when mistral was added -
