  1. Made a minor update to the following kneeboards, adding a step to turn on the right hardpoint for the TPOD. F-16C - GBU-12 TPOD.png F-16C - GBU-38 JDAM VIS TPOD.png F-16C - SEMI-RIPPLE GBU-38 JDAM PRE TPOD.png Besides adding the step above, also updated the following kneeboards to add a step for the AGM-65D/TPOD boresight (part 1) and slightly expanded the weapon employment (part 2). 2. Corrected kneeboard: MIRAGE F1 - AIR-TO-AIR ACM MATRA R550 MAGIC AIM9.png, regarding use of the MATRA 550 or Sidewinder missile switch, based on clarification from ED Beta Testers (thanks IvanK!).
  3. Ah, thanks for clearing it up, IvanK, I'll have to change my kneeboard to move it to the up/M position to cool either missile type. I must have miss-interpreted what I saw in the manual... there's nothing to describe what each of the two positions does. By the name of the switch (MATRA 550 OR SIDEWINDER MISSILE SWITCH), it seemed like each position (M or A) had a different function.
  4. Yes: MATRA 550 or Sidewinder missile switch - ON/OFF for M (R550) / A (AIM-9), based on your IR missile loadout
  5. I made some additional changes - I updated the following two kneeboards for JDAMs, adding a step to briefly fire the laser for more accurate target position coordinates when using the TPOD: AV8BNA - GBU-38 JDAM TOO TPOD.png AV8BNA - RIPPLE GBU-38 JDAM TOO TPOD.png Also added the following kneeboard for JDAMs, for using the Automatic Target Handoff System (ATHS), where target selection is performed by using the F10 Map, and targets are automatically loaded into the flight plan: AV8BNA - GBU-38 JDAM PREPLAN ATHS.png

  7. I updated some of the kneeboards that use the TPOD with laser guided weapons, to add a step to change the laser code, if needed. This is due to the AV-8B setting the laser code to 1111 with weight on wheels, so you should change the code (e.g. 1688) prior to employing laser guided weapons. Also made some minor cosmetic changes.

  9. Interesting, I hadn’t thought of the lift from the IR missiles fins (assuming this is what you’re referring to). I’ll have to check it out later. I don’t recall this happening on the F-16 with its wingtip missiles, but maybe since the 120’s are heavier it still drops on the side with the missile remaining. More to try out…
  10. As title suggests, we need a folder for that...
  11. I put together some simple procedural kneeboards for the Mirage F1, placed in the User Files section: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3329090/ As stated these are not official procedures, just what I've put together as a quick reminder on how to employ air-to-air weapons, unguided bombs and rockets, and cannon on the Mirage F1 (after not flying it for a while). Kneeboards included: MIRAGE F1 - AIR-TO-AIR ACM MATRA R550 MAGIC AIM9.png MIRAGE F1 - AIR-TO-AIR BVR ACM MATRA R530EM S530F.png MIRAGE F1 - AIR-TO-GROUND UNGUIDED BOMBS AND ROCKETS.png MIRAGE F1 - DEPRESSION ANGLE TABLE - MATRA F4 - 1.png MIRAGE F1 - DEPRESSION ANGLE TABLE - MATRA F4 - 2.png MIRAGE F1 - DEPRESSION ANGLE TABLE - SAMP 250 LD.png The Mirage F1 kneeboards need to be placed in separate Kneeboard folders for each of the Mirage F1 variants, for example: C:\Users\<your name>\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Kneeboard\Mirage-F1CE C:\Users\<your name>\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Kneeboard\Mirage-F1EE Note that while the Mirage F1 comes with kneeboards for weapons use, and the depression angle tables, I wanted some additional details (and larger fonts for the tables), so I went ahead with creating these. Enjoy! AKA_Relent (ED forums: 609_Relentov)
  12. After firing one wingtip IR missile, that wing drops instead of the wing that still has a wingtip missile. Seems the "weight of one wingtip missile" induced roll is doing the opposite of what it should do. I don't have a track as the mission ran a while, but it's easy to reproduce. Load wingtip missiles, fire one, and observe the incorrect wing dropping/rolling. Also, another minor (possible) bug: After landing including deploying the chute, I didn't release the chute as I rolled to a stop. After taxiing I shut down the engine and went to external view and observed the chute still in the horizontal position behind the jet, even after the engine spooled down. Not sure if this is a bug, but it just looks funny without any jet engine exhaust keeping it deployed and not crumpled on the ground.
  13. Ever since I've been using Paypal (for many years) to purchase DCS/ED modules/maps/etc., after choosing Paypal it would open the Paypal page and after logging in would default to my preferred payment method (e.g. checking). However, over the past few months, it no longer shows me my primary payment method, so I had to add another payment method (e.g. Visa). Is this something new with ED in it's relationship with Paypal? If not, then obviously something changed within Paypal that I'll have to investigate. Strangely, I made another purchase recently with Paypal (not ED but a US company), and it used the preferred payment method, so I wonder if it was due to DCS World/ED being outside the US.
  14. I've updated the kneeboard zip file in User Files, adding the following kneeboard for BS3: KA-50 - 9M342 IGLA BS3.png The remaining kneeboards are applicable to both Black Shark 2 and Black Shark 3.

Kneeboards included: KA-50 - 9A4172 VIKHR ATGM SHKVAL.png KA-50 - 9M342 IGLA BS3.png KA-50 - 30MM CANNON SHKVAL.png KA-50 - S-8 S-13 ROCKETS SHKVAL.png These are the same kneeboards created for BS2, but with an added kneeboard for BS3 only: KA-50 - 9M342 IGLA BS3.png Enjoy!   16. Maybe switch to guns then back to maverick…
  17. Yeah, with Mav's it's sort of a pain, as you're probably in PRE mode on the SMS/WPN page. So you have to change it to VIS on the SMS page before you TMS Up long (when HUD is SOI) will work, then TMS Up short to ground stabilize near the target while viewing the HMCS. After that you'll need to switch back to PRE mode, but at that point, you shouldn't need the HMCS anymore, as you can slew with the TPOD. Sometimes after using HMCS in VIS for Mav's, I'll need to select a different weapon and then back to the AGM65, otherwise the synch doesn't always work between the TPOD and the MAV/WPN page.
  18. Hey SD, here is from one of my F-16 kneeboards (from user files: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3318840/ ) maybe it will help… F-16C - Using HMICS for A/G with TPOD Master Arm On Master Mode AG Left MFD, Menu (OSB13) to show menu, then select TGP (OSB19) Left MFD, press STBY/A-G (OSB1), then press A-G (OSB6) to get TGP out of stand by mode Right MFD, after selecting weapon type, set mode to DTOS (for un-guided or laser-guided bombs), or VIS (for GPS guided weapons) to enable HMCS ground targetting (OSB2) Rotate HMCS SYMBOLOGY INT Knob for Helmet Mounted Cueing System DMS Up to make the HUD the sensor of interest (SOI) Use head tracker to move the HMCS to target area TMS Up LONG to enable the HMCS target designator cursor TMS Up SHORT to ground stabilize the HMCS target designator on the target area RDR CURSOR to slew HMCS target designator as needed over target DMS Down to make left MFD the sensor of interest (SOI) RDR CURSOR to slew TGP cross-hairs; as needed: Use Left MFD WIDE/NARO (OSB3) for wide/narrow view Use MAN RNG Knob - CW/MAN RNG Knob - CCW to zoom in/out Press TMS Up/Right to change to point/area track as needed, otherwise cross-hairs should automatically lock on target if point track (Continue with remaining procedure for respective weapon payload and TPOD) Relent
  19. I've added a kneeboard for using the R-60M air-to-air missiles: MI-24P - R-60M A2A MISSILES.png

  21. Nice quick function. However, Grimes, unless I’m miss-interpreting, wouldn’t you want the timer function to be: timer.scheduleFunction(printTimeLeft, {}, timer.getTime() + (i* interval)) Otherwise the function is called with i * 8 instead of i * 1800?
  22. Yep, never mind... I was thinking of the pylon numbers from left to right, I forgot about the numbering scheme :). Thanks.
  23. DCS Open beta 2.7.15.25026 stated: R-60M missile launchers can be mounted only on racks 1 and 4. Assuming this was a typo, and that it should have read racks 2 and 5.
  24. Glad you found the kneeboards useful, Slater. I’ll check out the user guide for those tables and see if I can add kneeboards for them. I hadn’t used those rockets much yet, so I’ll have to check them out. Edit: Unfortunately, there is no Mi-24P flight manual yet, just the quick start manual, and that has no sight elevation charts for the S-13/S-24. Once the full manual is released for the Mi-24P, if a chart is included, I can certainly add a kneeboard for it.
