  1. There won't be any prior indication but you should get a missile warning (which works on detecting the missile plume I believe, hence why you get maverick launches setting off the launch warning.)

  3. The fixed gunsight is the best way of aiming bombs & rockets. The gyro sight is for the guns but in ground attack I tend to leave the fixed gunsight on and use it for guns as well.
  4. The RWR indicates signal strength, not range.
  5. I usually estimate that for bombs, in a steep dive put the target between the two horizontal lines at the bottom. For rockets, get in really close, again in a moderate dive and use the V as your pipper. I've found that usually works for me.
  6. Are you on 1.2.3, it feels better to me now but that might bot be real.
  7. You are, in the advanced waypoint options there is perform task, land. A little triangle allows you to set the position for him to land. And then in stop condition the duration box makes sense for this. After the time is up he will take off again and fly along as much as he likes.
  8. Ubisoft are assholes, does that help? More seriously they own the rights to LOMAC, therefore any evolutions of Lock on are addons and require ubi.
  9. Are you using the old radio menu. If so, stop using that and use the new menu by pressing Lalt+'
  10. You want the trigger to be true when an entire group is dead? I'm fairly sure there's a group is dead. If that doesn't exist use group alive less than; 1%. I'd be surprised if there isn't a group dead trigger.
  11. No you won't have to pay. Look in the main menu and at the bottom left, below each of the plane icons is the version number. If you autoupdated then you don't need to worry. If you installed from scratch you will have to download the new modules. (Free)
  12. Open it in the mission editor. Click on your plane's first waypoint. There should be a drop down that says take off from runway. Change that to ramp, hit save and then go fly!
  13. The JTAC didn't get anything, he was with a different troop of scimitars at the time and having watched it there's a lot of confusion about what the A-10's are talking about. Having 3/4 T-55's and a few BMP's bearing down on him at the time must have made him pretty desperate since one hummer and one scimitar are gonna have a hell of a job managing that.I admit "orange rockets" on vehicles heading north is a bloody strange idea.
  14. The only thing I don't like about the land action is how slow they are at actually landing. It just seems to take too long. The hover, slight overshoot, and then drifting backwards before they actually land takes ages, it just doesn't look right. Going by the descriptions I've read in a couple of books they'd chuck the aircraft onto the ground pretty quickly and never come into the hover.
  15. Give PrtScn a go, that's always been the default for me. Have a look in the options men to see what it's set as in there.

  19. Much better loading times and the new rocket/missile motors look nice. Haven't tried MP yet.

  21. It's possible the turn was too much. I reccomend pointing near the target before firing. I'm not sure if the "keyhole" is implemented but it could make it difficult for the missile to reach it.
