  1. Have you tried control-P (panel settings)? I have had the same problem, but saw the earlier post and thought maybe that could be it.
  2. Thanks! Knew I was missing something on that. Still getting used to the different weapon types... I haven't messed with those too much yet.
  3. Mission part 1 of 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8kZE_qPjQU 5:00 He sets steerpoint mode to markpoints, so he can cycle two targets, slave the TGP, "easily switch targets and drop two GBU-38s on one pass". I don't understand how that works.
  4. This is probably a stupid question, but how do you drop to LGB's back to back? I thought you would have to lase each one all the way to impact (or a good bit at least) so I don't understand how you could drop a second before the first one hits. Can someone explain that to me please? Thanks :) Also, I have been dropping LGB's that are set to CCIP by default by switching the master mode to CCRP. They have worked fine so far.
  5. I can't seem to edit for some reason. Found that the resizing is done with the SizePercent line. 110% works great for my 1280x1024 second monitor :D
  6. I got Hawgtouch up and running, but I'm not crazy about the window tabs. Minor gripe, but they are a bit distracting. Can you download Helios somewhere besides their forum? Their registration requires telephone number and address o_O
  7. Also, can the MFCD's be resized (so that more than 400x400 can go inside them)?
  8. Anyone have a profile with just the MFCD's on a second monitor? I looked through the showcase profile, and can't figure out what I need :( Edit: I guess I can just use the showcase profile for now, and use just the MFCD and UFC.
  9. Which is easier to configure, Hawgtouch or Helios?
  10. I'll be looking into them :) Are these just for touch screen monitors? Or can I use a mouse to click the buttons? Edit: I searched "hawgtouch with mouse" and the first link is: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=69555 Can't wait to try this!
  11. Also, I was hoping to stop rendering my MFCD's in the cockpit. But if I can't use the buttons on the second monitor, I won't really know what I'm clicking on in the cockpit since it will be a blank screen :(
  12. D'oh... that would be a shame. I saw this from post #9: I thought if I exported the entire MFCD with OSB buttons, I would be able to click them. Since I like the left and right MFCD's on my monitor, I would like to be able to click when I'm in the DSMS or TAD especially.
  13. I've been searching, but I can't seem to find an answer. How do you export the MFCD's with the OSB buttons? I've seen it in pictures, but when I export the left and right MFCD to my second monitor, it only displays the screens. Thanks :)
  14. Thank you SO MUCH for the info in here! Got my 17" LCD set up for both MFCD's in no time and made two menu options, one for that and another for just the right MFCD. Everything I needed was in the first post. Any recommendations on what else I could put on the second monitor? It's 1280x1024, so without stretching the MFCD's too much I still have some room to work with.
  15. First of all, thank you for the responses :) I realized after I posted that it was a cross-wind causing my problems. I managed to take off with some heavy rudder input (after cutting off my wingman) and felt the difference just flying from waypoint to waypoint, and changing directions. I didn't realize the wind would effect the plane that way, and I think I just need more practice. Still not sure about the take-off trim button though. Does that just reset your trim? Can someone explain how it works? Also, are there any good trim tutorials or threads? I've only been using it for small adjustments, and could use some advice on how I should be setting it up. Thanks for all the help!
  16. How about in a mission like Overwatch? After several waypoints, the convoy you're escorting stops while you clear the area. There are two groups of infantry, and two AAA guns. I thought I would try to clear the AAA first, but I can't get both without taking damage.
  17. I'm having a lot of trouble taking off in the Overwatch mission. As soon as I'm rolling, the plane starts to veer very hard to the right. I try to steer left, but the nosewheel tire just blows out every time. I thought I was leaving NWS engaged too long, but it happens almost immediately. I figured my joystick calibration was way off, but I checked it and it seems fine. Then I unplugged it and tried using the keyboard, and the exact same thing happens. I understand how to use trim to maintain level flight, but I'm obviously missing something about taking off. I can do the tutorial with no problem at all. I even went back to it because I thought I must be missing something, but I had no problem taking off straight and level on the tutorial. I've tried pressing the takeoff trim button, but it's either already set or I'm doing something wrong. Any suggestions on what else to check? And can someone explain how the takeoff trim button works? I'm getting a bit frustrated. I've searched, but all of the threads I've found are about the slight roll to the right while flying, which I know how to adjust the trim to compensate for.
  18. I'll have to try a fresh install. My load times are TERRIBLE with the new patch! Other than that though, everything has been great.
