  1. Iraq would be a perfect addition to the Kiowa. Lots of varied terrain, especially in the north. The 101st had Kiowas flying constantly in Mosul in 2003. A Lebanon/Syria/Northern Iraq map could make use of carrier ops, but would lose the desert and towns to the south such as Basra.
  2. Even better, have the wallpaper change randomly.
  3. Just got VR headset (HP Reverb) and I can't seem to get the screens to focus. They are perfect in other applications except for DCS. I'm getting a weird double-vision, like each screen is off. Just like if you slightly crossed your eyes. Any ideas on how to fix this? Help is much appreciated. :helpsmilie: EDIT: Just wanted to add that, if I turn my head 90deg to either left or right, the menu and lettering are fine and "come together". It's almost a direct 90deg angle too.
  4. Call me stoopid, but can you explain "going pitbull?" And is there an indication that it's gone that way?
  5. Thanks for the display tips. I was wondering if this was dead also. I just got FC2 a few weeks ago, and gotta say that I really enjoy it. I heard the term "air quaker" recently and really have to wonder at that. Anyone willing to go through all the stuff to learn this game doesn't seem like that to me, but it's the internet, anything can happen I guess.
  6. I wonder if the jitters have more to do with the face API. When I sit still and watch my mug in the Facetracknoir screen, the lines are constantly changing and erratic.
  7. I have the neutral zones set to between 2 and 5, and it at least removes the jitters when I'm looking forward, but I still get them pretty bad when I look in any other direction. For instance, I'll look at the 1 o'clock position and keep steady, yet the screen jitters and makes me dizzy. Not sure if this happens in TIR or not since I don't own it. I've jacked the smoothness up to max, and then to minimum, but I still get the jitters.
  8. A DCS Blackhawk, even though it's a transport, would be great fun. Think of the missions one could have with it.
  9. I have the same joystick, and I had to go into the joystick options and really configure the dead zones. That's what helped me out the best, although I don't know how it works in A-10c. (I have FC2). Once I was able to get the dead zones far enough apart so when I touch the joystick it doesn't respond, it was all good.
  10. Thanks, that worked great. Now if I can only get this thing to work in FC2 in Win7 64x lol.
  11. If you download/install Facetrack noIR, shouldn't FaceTrackingAPI be bundled in with it? How do you create cleye.cfg? Just create a new notepad file or something? Anybody able to answer my question on the last page? Thanks.
  12. I believe the on-board web browser is only planned for the A-10d model, and doesn't accurately represent the current A-10 Thunderbolt in production. :)
  13. Hello. I have the Facetrack program. I have the webcam, and I have downloaded a lot of different software to help, with no joy. Can someone please point me in the right direction? 1. I'm trying to get Facetrack to work with Flaming Cliffs 2. 2. I am using Windows 7 64bit 3. The options screen that Daniel posted up on FC2 is different than mine. I only have System/Controls/Gameplay tabs at the top, and the absolute views look to be only usable with TrackIr.
