  1. Thank you for the detailed response! I've looked on google maps and it seems to be fairly flat compared to Caucasus, and very very similar to SA. The big difference I'm leaning on is the seasons.
  2. Are there any mountains in this region? Deep valleys? Will there be seasons?
  3. My group (JTF-111) is running into this problem as well, which significantly affected our latest mission. Our thoughts are that it's one (or all) of these three things: 1. Some bug with a human in the back seat. We can fly a bombing run just fine without issue when only one person is in the plane. 2. Something to do with multiplayer environment. Doubtful, it works just fine in MP servers when only one player is in the aircraft 3. Something to do with wind settings. Again, it works just fine in a MP server with wind, when there's only one person in the cockpit.
  4. Anyone know if Miles are able to be used on this?
  5. I know this thread is over a year old, but is there any update on this feature? Especially being able to sync between ships? This is highly important when actually trying to plan a flight, with few viable workarounds.
  6. Got it, thanks! So, for the time being, and possibly always, treat the markers on the map as non-updated intelligence, especially concerning enemy positions. I wish there was a way to "refresh" the map. I've been in a Liberation server where the mission ended, we fly back to base to refuel, and try to head off to the next one, but there's no map icon for the spawned enemy. That seems like a good compromise. But I know extremely little about the SA page and BFT.
  7. Okay. The icons on the maps that give us intelligence on the locations of enemy targets and friendlies. Do they move, are they planned to move/update locations, or is it working as intended?
  8. Looking at the map and enemy/friendly units, they don't seem to move. Is that always going to be the case, or am I looking at it wrong? Thanks.
  9. Ok, so I did what Wile did up there with mixed results. Ran repair as well. All was working ok in Free Flight. I go into a replay of a server mission and the mouse moving does not work. Verified controls are in individual as well as general settings. Also, the RCTRL+ NUM keys in F4 do not work. (I think it's called cockpit view up/down/left/right) Strange thing is, I go back to the free-flight mission immediately after this and the external view mouse movement stops working. Review: 1. Verify Single Player Free Flight Mission mouse view controls work. 2. Go to replay of another mission. Mouse view controls do not work. 3. Go BACK to Single Player Free Flight Mission and mouse view controls no longer work. As said, earlier, no settings were changed. Free_Flight_MouseTest01.trk
  10. I think it's a more than fair price. I don't even care that I can't use miles to buy it. But I would really appreciate getting to accrue miles for the purchase.
  11. Thanks for the heads up. I'll be holding my purchase until Razbam at least allows ED Miles to accrue. It's hard to understand in the first place because it seemingly doesn't affect them in the least, and the Miles Program is ED's business. I must be missing something.
  12. I was hoping this would be worked on. The snow-capped mountains puts an entirely new aspect to flying missions in Syria and changes the look entirely.
  13. Been searching around with no luck, so my hopes are small, but is there a Time-on-Target feature/mode for the Apache? I'd love to work on coordinated strikes. If not, is there one being planned? How do we get to targets at certain times?
  14. Hello all. I'm looking for any recommendations for smoothing out the rudder in the Apache. I've got the TWCS and, while I have some lube on it, it still feels "sticky" in the sense any time I correct there's a choppiness to the controls. Just wondering if any recommendations can be made in the profile to make it smoother.
  15. I've been flying with this group for about 2.5yrs now and they are some great people. We're all grown-ups in the sense that we like to have a good time, but nobody's rude, cocky or obnoxious. All have busy work/home lives but are happy to help out anyone having issues and are active on our Discord channel. We predominately fly the modern jets/helos, but whatever your first love is, you'll find at least a few in the group with similar interests.
  16. I thought I had it working the other night, but no matter what I do, pressing Num. will not padlock to any other aircraft. Am I misunderstanding the purpose of Num. Padlock View? Under what external viewing options is it available? Thanks!
  17. JTF-111 Break after a mission
  18. I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this question, but thought I'd ask anyways. Is it possible to jump to a specific point in a reply? Say, if my replay is 2hrs long and I want to move ahead to 1hr 42min in, is there a button I can push, or do I have to ffw through the whole mission and risk a corrupted track? Thanks for any replies.
  19. What kind of frames are you getting at the moment? I've currently got a 4090 but waiting on upgrading my CPU. Probably to the 5800x3d. Just wonderign what I could expect.
  20. A flyover has been requested by Las Vegas Speedway this weekend and your unit has been tasked with performing the show. Use the ToS/ToT feature and on your jet, communication and timing skills to perform a precise flyover for the National Anthem. This is a great way to train for Time on Target missions, or for those who love airshow flying. - Perform a precise flyover for the National Anthem at Las Vegas Speedway. - Fly either an F-18c or F-16c_50 - Approx. time: 25min (you'll spend about 10-15min holding and turning circles if you get up in the air too fast. This is designed to help people get into formation/position) - Practice holding in a position to wait for the ToT/ToS call. Try to maintain 45-60sec turns. - Fly either A 4-ship formation where your Lead is the only one concerned with ToT/ToS Or fly to separate waypoints and meet up over the center of the stadium at the exact time. - Communicate with your wingmen to deconflict altitude. The stadium already as fireworks and doesn't need more. - Don't rely on the carrot symbol on your HUD, but follow your directed Ground Speed to be more accurate. NOTE: This mission was made using Hasard Lee's youtube video "How Flyovers Work" as reference. I am not an actual pilot. Any comments/suggestions welcome. Thanks!
  21. I got it to work singleplayer and in another server, so I think it may have been a server-side issue. Still trying to narrow down where it went wrong.
  22. Was there any resolution to this bug or setting? It just came up for me. (7Jan2023)
  23. I appreciate the feedback. This ___ is going to get me divorced, lol.
