  11. In this case and the earlier you had to make use of the Emergency Override Handle, though not functional. (both hydraulic systems failed) The problem is that the F-86 is still BETA after a year.:cry_2: Regards Brisafresca

  15. Hi Our F-86F-35 has two hydraulic systems, normal and alternative, to power the ailerons and controllable horizontally tail. Flight Control Normal Hydraulic System Flight Control Alternate Hydraulic System (Backup System) When the normal system pressure falls below 650 psi an automatic electric switch that allows you to transfer control to the alternative system, a warning light will indicate that happened occurs, (Alternate On Warning Light). If automatic transfer fails, you should perform manually(Flight Control Switch). While, the alternative hydraulic pump is connected directly to the bus of the battery to ensure operation. Note: Automatic or manual transfer to alternative flight system is prevented if the pressure in the alternative system is below the minimum operating pressure. On the other hand, there is the Emergency Override Handle for activating the hydraulic control system alternative flight in case of failure of the automatic or manual transfer, regardless of the value of the pressure in the normal and alternative system. Using this lever directly connects the electric pump of the alternative system to bus battery. But this lever system is not simulated. I hope I have been helpful Regards Brisafresca

  19. I am an enthusiast of the F-86 Sabre and for months I have been preparing an unofficial manual of the aircraft systems trying to be loyal to the official information. Gradually this work has been taking shape, I started with 76 pages and now is more than double. Currently it is almost finished except for a few additions and tweaks. So far I have shared the manual with 69 Squadron pilots, but I think it's time to spread it on a larger scale because it should have already been an official handbook prepared by BST, which does not exist. I have tried to be as realistic as possible in its construction, if I'm wrong about something or there is a typo I hope you may forgive me, I'm just an enthusiast of flight simulation, I'm no expert in the industry, so if you find any errors or detail that should be clarify, do not hesitate to contact me. This manual covers the following topics: Overview of the device Aircraft systems Auxiliary equipment Normal procedures Emergency procedures Weapons system Weapons Procedures Mission Profiles I've also made a condensed checklist. The sources of information used for the preparation of this document are on the last page dedicated to bibliography. Be warned that this work is not completely finished, so I would not recommend print it yet. Finally, the manual is in Spanish, so if you want to use it you will need to use the Google Translator.   20. Hola a todos Soy un entusiasta del F-86 Sabre y desde hace meses confecciono un manual no oficial sobre los sistemas de la aeronave procurando basarme en información oficial. Poco a poco este trabajo ha ido tomando forma, empecé con 76 páginas y ahora es mas del doble, actualmente está casi terminado a excepción de algunos pocos añadidos y retoques. Hasta ahora he compartido el manual con los pilotos del Escuadrón 69, pero creo que es hora de difundirlo a mayor escala puesto ya debería de existir un manual oficial elaborado por BST el cual no existe. He procurado ser lo más realista posible en su confección, si estoy equivocado en algo ó existe alguna errata espero podáis perdonarme, sólo soy un aficionado a la simulación de vuelo, no soy experto del sector, por ello si encuentras algún error ó detalle que debería ser aclarado, no dudes en contactar conmigo. Este manual trata los siguientes temas: Descripción general del aparato Sistemas de la aeronave Equipamiento auxiliar Procedimientos normales Procedimientos de emergencia Sistema de armamento Procedimientos de armamento Perfil de misiones Además he confeccionado una checklist condensada.   21. If truth I am carrying a disappointment with BST, the F-86 is abandoned after almost a year, I have deepened in recent months preparing a flight manual and there are many things not simulated.:cry: Although it is the best F-86 can be found as of today Regards Brisafresca
