  1. Hey Mower you get your radio issue worked out?
  2. *04/23/2011 - Sorry for being missing in action the last month. Had to get back to work and things have been busy. Just life in general. I started updating my older missions. The ones I like for the most part. I have some new stuff just about ready. I will try and get a few up this weekend. Here are some updated stuff from the previous betas. Hope to have some more up here shortly. If you have problems or find bugs, let me know so I can fix them. If mission is updated, update will be by letter. Greb 1. 3. Mower all my JTAC missions are set to 30 VHF FM unless there is more then one JTAC then I set them 40...50...etc. Set your last radio in back up for it! Sorry I should have mentioned FM!
  4. OOH! I love a good IFR Flight, thanks Cougar, I'll give it a go!
  5. It's not to hard Topcat! It's easy if you create it because then you know all the little crap that must be done. If you do know the editor and it's not your mission it can take a little time going thru and changing/deleting flights and triggers and what not. I will toss up a Single Player version, Give me a few minutes!
  6. Ok Folks! Warrior asked for an MP and here it is! It's a Ground Attack, no JTACS, and I must say fellas its some of my best work....I think. The Airfield activity in this one is just jaw dropping. You guys will love it. Good movement and watch for the F14's Flyby headed back out to sea right after the first A10's take off. This is a 2 to 4 player mission and you are sent out to hit columns of bad guys. It is sort of a button masher but very well done and you will have to work to for it. Set your TGP up at Steerpoint 5 "Set" and slave it to steerpoint 6 "TRGT" and start looking you'll find it if you know your TGP. There are two target areas and I split them between the two flights. If there are only 2 players in game one should pick an odd number flight and the other an even number flight that way they will each have there own target area. Each flight has its own set of nav points and all of those are the same up to nav point 4 "Rally" then the flights splits into two and then to each their own target area. What's cool is if you have 4 players you can all get in the air and fly out together as a 4 group flight and then split in to two's when you reach the Rally point. Just follow your NAV! I think my ME skills are really getting sharp and this mission is very well put together and it plays flawless for me. To be honest I think it is my best one to date. It's jaw dropping to watch! I left the Mission enforcements open so you all can fly it the way ya want. This airfield does have glitch with the AI. They turn on runway to get to parking, but it won't screw you up at all or take away from the realism, it just looks a little funny.....you'll see what I mean. ED may have to look at that one! Have fun a good luck! *Tip!!! All flights are clear to go ahead and take off when the last single flight F15E lands. UPDATE! Should of done this from start! Here is a single player version of this mission with a wingy. I did cut out the second target zone....not needed with just two flights! UPDATE!!! Sorry Fellas! I ran the MP and it went flawlessly and then right after I flew it I made a small position change on one of the units not thinking it would be an issue and it caused a crash whenever you destroyed that unit. This also affected the the Single Player. I went ahead and fixed by relocating on road and it solved the issue. Toss the Final 01 and use the Final 02's. I also moved the Set points out a little further in the MP version and changed them in the SP to give you more time in the air before you get on target. They both give you a good stand off range now. After flying it several times I just thought it was a bit to close. Anyways give it a go and let me know! SEE - "Greb's Missions Revisions Thread" for mission files!
  7. Still getting my ME Skills down Cezar, but you have some real good input and I will remember it when I do my next one...........and that is right now! LOL!!! Gonna post it!
  8. Yeah bud PM me when beta 5 comes out and I will give you a "must do" for clean install!
  9. Yeah it's got to do with kill ratio's Bud! I had it at Group Dead activate in the Final 01 and I changed it less then alive so much percent Final 02. Need to work that one out. Thanks for the input it helps so much in creating the mission! Will repost the original with Group Dead Activate! Thanks again Dejjvid!
  10. Mower!!!! My other brother from a Canadian Mother! Hey bud make sure you have that latest MP version I posted and let me know how it goes! Still a bit noobish with the ME! I will try and do that. I haven't done any online playing since Ghost Recon.....did tons of mods on that thing ....and Flanker series!
  11. GUYS!!! Toss out those to MP's I posted and read my update 3. I uploaded a new version of 4. I refined the JTAC's, added more units and made it more MP friendly. Those two MP's I posted I forgot to add ordinance to the other flights. I built it with Single Player in mind so it may be a bit rough for MP. Like I said I am still a noob with the ME! Any testing in game with input would be wonderful. My next mission will be specifically built with MP in mind and I will have it up later today .....I hope. It's gonna be good!
  12. Totally agree Warrior! Every time I go to San Fran I wanna puke. Such a beautiful city....... inhabited by.......well will leave it at that!
  13. We have a lot in common Warrior. I was born and raised in San Jose CA but raised by my Texan Grandparents! I live in WA State now. I served with 9th ID on Lewis and when I got out I never went home. I met and married a Canadian Girl 21 years ago. My parents and most of my family still live there and I can't believe how bad that beautiful state has gone downhill.
  14. LOL!!! I had boxes of those things. Those and Lincoln logs and Leggos! God I miss those types of toys! As far as that mission goes there is a trigger that needs to be set at just before steerpoint SET. This trigger sets the convoy in motion. You should see a message telling you the Convoy is starting. That trigger sets the battle into motion. I may need to make that trigger cover a larger area. Try flying it again with a strict flight path on your steerpoints and see if it does it again.
  15. There ya go Warrior....this was my point also!
  16. LOL!!! That sounds like fun! Hell I would still like to do that if I could find me some of those ARMY men. They probably don't sell them anymore.......not PC now a days!
  17. Mac! You're right we do have a lot of "Dukes" left in this country fighting on foreign soil. My point on John Wayne was the image he put out. Nothing PC about that guy and that is why I loved him so. One of my biggest daily struggles is the fact that I am to old to be out there with them. I deal with that everyday. I was a grunt in a Light INF Unit and I consider all before and after me my brothers and it hurts not to be there with them. I feel like I am abandoning them. I know I am not but I still feel that way. I may not be there in that hole with them in person, but I am with them in spirit and I pray for them every night when I put my head on the pillow. God Bless you Sir and thank you for your service. There truly is a special place in heaven for those who dawn a uniform and pick up a weapon with the intent of protecting fellow citizens that for the most part show no gratitude. It's is by far the most honorable and self sacrificing act one can make. Stay alert and stay alive my friend!
  18. I'll look into it Stanger! Like I said I am just getting the ME down so I probably missed something. Anyone speak up if you see a prob or want a custom change.
  19. I'll give it a go MadTommy! Thanks for the time!
  20. Thanks mtucker! When I was a kid I had thousands of Army men. You know the little plastic green guys! I use to set them up all over the living room floor and have huge wars. We use to rubber bands and each guy would get three shots a turn! ............I guess I never grew out of it!
  21. Noticed one flaw in this mission. To get JTACs to pop off on their triggers you have to kill the entire group or the next JTAC won't pop up. I will fix this by making it a partial group kill, and post it again. If you change the time to night time you may want to change over to an IF MAV in the payload. The K is just camera. If you fly it at night JTAC uses a sparkle instead of WP. Will throw it up in a sec!
  22. Absolutely Warrior let me get it set up and I will throw it up for ya. You want to add a little more ground combat? That many player would make it a real quick mission. BTW....Love your Avatar! I miss the "Duke" ...what the USA needs is a about 50 million more of him!
  23. Sorry I missed that Bahger! No I never got the error message. Mission ended and went straight to Debrief. Glad it worked for ya. Yeah it's probably the install. Did you patch or run full install on 4? I agree I would just do the clean install when beta 5 hits. Keep at it. Like everything it just gets easier with time. Yeah that 23 hour time hold was a baffler for me. It took me forever to get that down.
  24. Wow!!! Thanks for that redbaron......I'm humbled! Wait until you try the CAS Convoy it just blows me away what you can do with the editor!
  25. I think I got it Bahger! You had 24 inf units as mentioned before in a one group! Whenever you set waypoints for any unit in the sim you are creating a track for them to follow in the sim. This takes a lot of calculation on the CPU's part. You have to think of units, any units as a synchronized ballet team. Whenever you put those units on a certain path it has to calculate for the whole unit. Its like a big train or or slinky. Whenever the man at the front has to make a turn or track adjustment the CPU has to calculate for the whole group. Slowing them down turning them in a new direction and then speeding them back up what not. It's a lot of strain on the ol' PC hardware for such a mundane task. I broke your infantry down to 4 units of 6 and then added Group activation for each of them. Same as you did for the whole group. This way the CPU only has to calculate for 6 guys at on time instead of 24. I ran it with your setting at first and it crashed on me just as I got to valley. I then fixed it to the 4 groups of six and it ran flawlessly! Ran all the way to the end. Got credit for the mission and the whole debrief. I usually keep my units from 4 to 6 in a group. It's just easier on the CPU. Anyways! Very cool little mission I like it a lot. That canyon flying is intense. You go in hit a unit look over your shoulder for the kill, turn face forward and you are looking at a big green wall! LOL!!! Here it is with my little fix. Give it a go!
