What wonderful opinions on macs you all have O.o !!! i just got a mack book pro laptop with an Intel core 2 duo E6600 and an Nvidia 8600GS or GT whatever and 2 gigs of RAM. Its absolutly amazing!! i had to get it for the same reason Mikoyan did because of school. we have to get macks because i am in schooling to become a sound engineer and Protools and other sound software that is leet runs on mac... but we have to put windows on it because we have to learn Sony vegas pro 8 :) So it will be very easy to put games on my mac with XP on it using Boot camp utility. under the skin of my mac it is basicaly like any other laptop out there only with mac operating system. that is one of the only things that differs it from other laptops. its the same hardware. i will defiantly be playing games on my mac and it will probably run almost equal to my desktop computer because the hardware is very alike. In my opinion i really did not like macs until i got one but they are becoming more equal if you think. there is nothing different than my mac and a Dell XPS exept for the operating system.

ok i isolated my Ram and found the bad one. going to see if i can replace it. hard to find only 1 gb of XMS2 ram :huh:

update :D new laptop

well guys i switched the RAM around... the left side to the ride side and all... and i have not had any BSOD's... yet! everything seems stable for now. im in contact with Corsair support and i have warranty on them... only because i have not been overclocking for about 2 months now from my instability :P

yea my RAM is screwed :( have to get new RAM. thanks guys. memtest failed myserably.

Hey :) well i have been at stock everything or default everything in bios for quite a while now. i'm not overclocked or anything. i switched my ram around if that will do anything :P updated to 7.11 drivers for ATI and we'll see how that goes. i have not ever used a TV tuner card and my windows updates are up to date :) and as for numbers.... i took loads of pictures on my phone let me snag them off of there and i'll post them in a few :)

i'm at stock speeds and have been that way for a long time but my computer is horribly unstable. i'm getting "dxg.sys" Blue screens and "kmiser.sys" blue screens and more blue screens that just have numbers. :badmood:anyone have any ideas? i installed these new drivers today and well lets see how that goes but i'm thinking of reformatting. I have media center and i'm thinking thats where my problems lay but i have never had these problems before! i get these blue screens randomly. quiting out of games. turning around. barrol rolling it dont matter i get them.

one of the things i screwed up when i did green screen stuff was i had the lightest bit of wrinkles on the screen and when i edited it and put whatever i wanted on there it would look terrible because the little wrinkles would make shadows and would not convert :( Where is the dang iron and ironing board :P
