  2. I use hawg touch on my second 1280x1024 touch screen monitor which runs lower right to my 1920x1200 monitor main screen. I want to have a custom layout made in Hawg touch 1.5 that has three scrollable screens that one can mouse click through from left to right with MFD's UFC and ECM panel on one, gauges and engine/fuel management on another and the last having EGI radio and such on it. If someone can build me a working version of this i will give them the GTX570 i have in my cupboard. You ask why I don’t do it myself? I don’t have the knowhow or the patience to sit down and do it..... Interested? post me....
  3. Does anyone know if there is a plan to make Face Track Noir a single .exe all in one package that opens up drops files into the right folders, detects the camera and just works? The only choice you need to make is 32 or 64bit. One of the biggest problems we have in the simming world these days with third party software is the need to have this that and something else and tweako here and tweeko there, run three times around monitor and say a hail Mary before anything works. I used an early version of FTN 1.6 i think last year and it was great but again the fiddle **cking to make it work just drives you mad.

  5. ladies gents, :helpsmilie: I need more voice over actors. So far i have great stuff back from Nero and his better half who did Smoke that thunders and also some good stuff from WildBill who we should call SpeedyWildBill as he turned them around in about 5 hours flat. Anyone else out there who would like a shot please let me know. I am currently looking for a Mission control voice actor for Carbon Blade, Preferably female if we have some of you out there. cheers
  6. Going to have to create my own road block as the Road Block Structure in DCS objects causes problems with AI path finding. Also Druid has made some helo aproach path edits which will be included in the next release which is version 3.8. After this no more changes will be made as I am now 2/3rd of the way into the next mission called Carbon Blade.

Tried and tested it tonight, everything ran smooth with the lose triggers but we never got to test the win triggers because the bastard trucks decided to get stuck at the check point and just drive around in circles. This was due to me dropping a MK82 in the center of the road block making a hole in the ground that one of the drivers refused to cross. Inthe end i had to smoke him for annoying me hence the tested lose triggers.
  8. I am trying to concentrate on DCS world 1.2 missions now so they will work ok with the new patch when it gets here. Cheers
  9. We are going to look into the triggers again today, it is possible or more than likely possible I have a cocked up trigger system so standby and lets see what i can find. Going to have my mate look at it as well.
  10. Wild Bill thanks, I will look over the redistribution of arms on this one. I thought Chevy might have some PGM's just in case, you never know when a bus load of Insurgent school kids might show up. I will also put the tanker in as this mission could take up to 2 hours to fly. Its a shame one cannot save progress on a mission as progress is made. As for jamming the only thing getting turned to jam will be them pesky insurgents. this mission might take me a couple weeks to finish as its quite long and some a decent amount of Voice overs are going to be needed.   11. Great glad it was enjoyed. I will definately look at the two audio message issue, I had not had that myself but I am sure there is a simple solution to keep them well appart. I dont follow on your last comment "we did not understand much (we Broke it!) can you elaborate a little more and is there something i need to do? Cheers
  12. Hey hey well spotted my man, yes it was doc i watched some time back. Shame those guys did not have A10 support as Mr. Deady would still be alive today....... Anyway that was a perfect CAS senario. Cant belive they did not have CAS support from Apache or FM aircraft in the three days they were out there.
  13. The following mission is currently in the build. The main reason for posting a pre brief on what to expect is the hope that others who don’t have time to build a mission or its just not their thing could post a similar pre brief requesting other mission builders to take up their project and produce the goods. As in my last mission (Smoke that Thunders) there were a lot of voice comms to add as much realism and atmosphere as possible. I will also be looking for people to provide more of these for this mission. So if we have volunteers please let me know and once the mission script is completed I can forward it to you. ED Team, Would it possible for mission builders to have a thread only they can access so they can add/Delete stuff and update as well as have all their content in one thread for people to find easily? Several good things would come of it, people would know staright away when that mssion builder has made changes or aded new content as his post moves to the top of the que. All that builders content is in one place easy to access. The builder can make easy edits to mission posts updating pilots of changes etc without creating a new post or having several comment posts in the thread which helps pilots keep abreast of developments to a particular mission.   16. Please note version 3.7 is now out. Minor fixes made to triggers and sound files. After a couple of hours of messing with triggers adding new ones and getting consultation on the triggers I have released an untested version 3.7.   17. The Mission Smoke that thunders has been modifed again to fix some minor issues. After several MP sessions it seems to work well now. I have also included another 2 A10C making the package 4 if needed. Mission Difficulty Solo Hard 2 Ship Moderate 3 Ship Easy 4 Ship Walk Over

A10C 1.1.1.1 Version Link/Download: Being Modified DCS World Version PM me for mission file Full brief: Mission: Smoke that Thunders The attrition of enemy command centers and rebel leaders that have taken up root in Georgia has been the main focus point of NATO forces for well over 18 months now. These rebel units who are supported by criminal elements in the Caucasus arena have taken over many of the rural areas in and around Sochi. Several of their leaders have been eliminated and dozens of command centers have been destroyed. This consistent attrition of their resources and people is taking its toll and victory is not too far off. NATO has employed the same tactics used in Afghanistan with special elite troops to infiltrate enemy positions, provide eyes on the ground for tactical air strikes and last but not least open up the opportunity needed to snatch top field commanders. The success rate has been high and the enemy loses heavy. Mission Outline: Today’s mission will see Special forces infiltrating a key enemy position to provide eyes on target in the hope we can acquire a Georgian rebel leader called Doku Umarov. Mr. Umarov is considered the leader of the insurgency against the Georgian government. He has spear-headed several high-profile rebel raids, and also fought in both wars against Russia since 1994 in Chechnya. He also served as Chechnya's security minister during its short-lived independence between 1996 and 1999. He became the commander of the"south-western front" of the rebel armed forces in 2002, and is believed to have about 1,000 fighters under his command. Russian forces chased these units into Georgia over 18 months ago and now this scourge has taken up arms against the Georgian government with lucrative support from the criminal elements that want the fall of the Georgian leader ship.   23. Can anyone say why my HOTAS Wart Hawg is giving me issues all of sudden in Track iR. To freeze the track ir i have always used the pinkie lever on the joystick. When pulled this level activates Joy Button 3 according to the windows joystick calibration tab. What has been happening recently is the radio hat on my throttle if pushed forward (VHF FM) is also Joy button 3 so it freezes my TiR. This was not so before. Can anyone suggest what might have changed? Thanks

    Guys thanks all very much for your replies. On the next mssion build I will send out all the script files so each of you can give it a shot. This kind of help is very much appreciated. The mission currently being built has had the script voices allready done. Very amature stuff poor quality but hell we are not sound engineers yet... Any way thanks and will be in touch.

    Thanks for the pointer to that, I will try there as well. I was hoping that some of the DCS crowd would help out as my missions are aimed at this community to use. Hate to take effort from people who wont benefit. Cheers anyway and it gives more options.
