Hi, I seem to be having issues getting the HMCS to become the SOI. Coolie switch up, sets the SOI to HUD but I dont seem to get it to switch to the HMCS when i press up again. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

Since the most recent update, the HMS on the KA 50 seems to now activate NVG's??? Also, there now seems to be an issue when going into a mission Singleplayer or MP where you do not get the option to select a role and therefore in a single-player mission, you cannot enter the cockpit. Not so much of an issue ion MP as you hit escape and go to select a role and then it comes up, Any suggestions or fixes please.

Put all AI aircraft on START FROM PARKING HOT. They will then all appear on the carrier at takeoff and make their way to open slots or hold until one becomes free, But you're (Client Aircraft) will have assigned slots

Worked out the fix.

Can someone point me to any posts on how to stop the "YOUR FLIGHT IS DELAYED" on carrier launches? It used to work just fine and now it's only allowing 2 units deck space

BTW what GPU are you running? I'm still on a 1080Ti but find it fine with the O+. Was not overly impressed with the 2080Ti performance increase just for DCS.

Baldrick I appreciate the feed back. Really helps as I do not have the choice of ordering and returning if not satisfied due to where i live. The Index seems to be the logical choice for DCS then. On a percentage scale with clarity of picture how much better is the Index over the Oddessey + Cheers

Baldrick cheers fornthe straight forward reply. It's tough to get them these days as so many people have their opinions and have not even got VR. Looks like the upgrade is worth while then. Cost is not a factor. I just want the best visuals I can get. Now I Need to review the 2 side by side. You already have the reverb but if you went back and had to choose what would it be?

I have the Oddessy + and would upgrade to the HP Reverb but have questions for people who have used both head sets. 1 - Are the graphics in the distance views much crisper on the HP than on the Oddessy+? 2 - Are ground objects such a vehicles much clearer and are other aircraft clearer to see at distance? 3 - is the setup as easy as the Oddessy+ with DCS and Steam VR? 4 - would the upgrade be worth dropping the Oddessy (only a few months old) for the HP Reverb.

Over the years of playing DCS with a good friend, we have had some laughs. Some people like it a little more serious than others and this sometimes causes frustration but always creates a good laugh. I have spent a few days making some cartoons about those MP flights and I am sure that some of you who have a regular wingman will be able to relate to some of this. Howdy all, it has been a while, nice to see the mission building guild is still going strong. I have recently returned to DCS and now toy with the F18 where I have recently made two new missions. Getting back into it fun once again but what I will need is volunteers for voice-overs. Some of you will remember some of my old missions like Smoke that Thunders l Operation Spinnaker and Carbon Blade as examples. The last two missions I built over the last couple weeks have been populated with voice overs I have made my self. Not ideal but better than nothing. Now I have all these voice-overs completed I would like to get some voice actors to do them again if possible. Ground Armor - American Accent Male Mission control - Female any accent. Air F18 Colt - American/Canadian male or female Air F18 UZI - American/Canadian male or female Control Tower - Male/Female Accent any Let me know if there is any interest and I'll send some over. All I need is the plain voice recording in wave. format. You will need to use some emotion/feeling to the voice overs depending on the script but that easy. Just practice a few until you get something that sounds ok. I will do all the voice modifications and sound effects.
