Thanks Bahger. Please give it a shot and do let me know if you find problems. I got zero feedback on my last mission although it was downloaded 60+ times and i cant belive it worked fine.

Operation Spinnaker has been released and is in the A10 Sticky Mission folder. The current release versions are Single player A10 with 3 AI A10 in support and the MP version is 4 A10 aircraft I will release two more versions later. One with 2 KA50 and 4 A10 that will support each other and the second version will be 2 KA50 only with A10 AI. With the 4 versions it will allow all to fly what they prefer. I have had issues with sound files so if something seems broken let me know so it can be fixed for other to fully enjoy.

Operation Spinnaker DCSW Mission by: IADC A10C Aircaft flyable only in these versions There is a single player version and multiplayer 4 ship version. I have now included a joint ops KA A10 version with 2 KA50 flyable units Both these missions have been modified as requested by people who have played them. Thanks to those people.. Changes Include Unforced labels (This was on for testing purposes) Changed Payload to suit mission Slowed down the F18's to stop them acting like a pack of wild dogs. Added frequency information to bottom of brief. Similar Issues I feel your pain as this has happened to me on several occasions so yes now I always save the mission under a new version 1.1 1.2 1.3 etc after any significant changes. However there is another issue that plagues me. This is to do with sound files. During the build I will insert my sound files only to come back at a later point and find the sound file is no longer there. How do i know this? I have saved my mission builds with the included sound files, tested the mission to see all works ok which it does. Save the mission and note the file size. I continue to build the mission and add more sound files noting the mission file size each time I do this. At some point one of my sound files stops working, when I check the mission file size I note its reduced in size by approximately the size of the sound file that's missing. To remedy this which is the most annoying part, I have to delete the sound to all trigger, exit the mission editor, exit the game then come back in again to add the sound file. If I don't do this it will not put the sound file back in the appropriate place. The last thing I have to do before I save and publish each mission is to check each sound to all trigger to make sure it works. There is always one or two that don't.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions on all the mission builds i have made. Unfortunately there have been problems with the site i used for uploading them. Due to the large mission file sizes they needed to be uploaded elsewhere. When i get a chance i will put everything back up again on a more stable site and i will also add in things that have been suggested such as aircraft with wing men etc. A new mission is in the build called operation spinnaker which has been a blast to build and should be good fun to play once completed.

Regarding flying solo you could just open up the mission editor add a wingman to one of the A10 aircraft. Make sure you give it weapons and set the skill to excellent so he does a good job.

Triggers and Dodge was just a thought i had as I wondered if there was something else to come like more attacks on roadkill that would only be triggered by springfield being flown as Client. Will look forward to playing it in Springfield with a wingman. keep em coming, it inspires me to build as well. Cheers

Bahger just flew your mission solo (multiplayer version) as my flight buddy is a way at the moment but a quick bit of feed back. I took the dodge flight as i just wanted to get a quick overview on the build. Mission is clean and comms are clear. Picked up roadkill on their ingress and then searched out broken wing to get a rough estimate on their distance from each other to get a time frame on their ToT. immediately started searching for threats and picked up the first Russian units inbound. No mavricks so knocked out the SA9 with GBU12. Lucky shot nailed him right on the bridge. The other A10 flight then started to knock out the rest with MAVS. A second Russian team was inbound and got in a traffic jam behind the SA9 i first destroyed, Bad news for them as it gave me clear GBU12 shot on tight formation that killed 4 vehicles. Roadkill planted C4 and pulled out, once across the bridge mission success. Suggestions. Maybe have the second column come across country off road. Use road Kill as JTAC to provide position data. Once the C4 is planted maybe have some hinds come in to try and knock out road kill. Another scenario would be to have an ambush lines up for Road Kill on ingress that assistance will be required. Could also have this on Egress when Road kill is pulling out. Please let me know if by flying the dodge flight I may have inadvertently caused triggers not to go off. I will try it again with another online wingman though. Great mission and thanks again. Rep inbound for your time and effort

Yup there is no mistake on what sides they are on. Some units have been given no waypoints others have, skill level has been adjusted up and down and if i place a ZSU Tracked Vehicle next to the Truck mounted one the Track vehicle shoots no problem. If i fly my A10 over them they fire no problem. Its just the KA 50 they seem to pay no interest in. Yes its as if they think its one of theirs but it has MARINES written down the side in big **** off letters. Blind bastards....

For some reason the truck mounted AAA wont show the KA50 any aggression, anyone know why?

I have now had three requests from SimExperience for the API code. I have PM"d WAGS twice now but no reply. Its a shame we cant get any reply so we can get support for this product.

Guys, I have just loaded BS2 onto my system and I am looking for a good profile for my Warthog. I did fly BS1 but since i changed to A10 I also upgraded my HOTAS so my old profiles are worthless. I noted a BS2 profile under DCS (user Files http://files.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/?arrFilter_CREATED_USER_NAME=&arrFilter_pf%5Baircraft%5D=31&arrFilter_pf%5Bfiletype%5D=70&arrFilter_pf%5Bgameversion%5D=78&arrFilter_pf%5Bfilelang%5D=14&arrFilter_CREATED_USER_NAME=&set_filter=Filter&set_filter=Y) by necris_voodoo but it only seems to have one user file in it. I am used to haveing 3 files, one for throttle, one for stick and one for Rudders. How would one go about adding this profile into joy setup in DCS?

Then Guys at SIM Experience have just requested if they can get the API code to incorporate the sim into their supported simulation motion axis platform.... Will get someone I know to make an official request.

Would anyone have some HOG Touch profiles they would like to share for Black Shark 2 showing Gun Cam and ABRIS? Would be too much greatly appreciated and will be rewarded with pre release BS2 missions before anyone else gets em. Currently have a 4 mission campaign in the build. Cheers

Well if I can get SimXperience to incorporate DCS Black Shark into their line of supported models I will buy one for sure. I am also going to ask for more details on what motion is currently incorporated into their current models and how these would work for flight simulation in helicopters. Will keep you all posted,

Yup they dont come cheap but neither does my PC to run DCS which i end up changing out every 2.5-3 years. Its definitely not for everyone as cost plays a major factor as well as space to maintain a setup like this but the added sim experience of motion combined with all the other cockpit parts I have spent thousands of dollars on would really finish it off nicely.

I have been in contact with a company called SimExperience http://simxperience.com to discuss their motion platforms. The neat thing with this design is for us flight sim fans it can be purchased in a stage one design so it can be incorporated into a cockpit. Speaking with Kevin for SimExperience, we discussed support for the DCS product line and although not supported presently if enough interest is shown the series could be incorporated into their line of supported SIMS sometime in 2013. Although this would give a limited amount of feedback for fixed wing aircraft like the A10, P51 and some of the FM Series aircraft from flaming cliffs, it would really come into its own with DCS Black Shark 2 and Hopefully to be released later this year Combat Helo. I have passed on the link to Kevin at SimExperience so he can look at comments people add to this post. Give it our support and we could see them give us theirs. I am sure SimExperience could even custom design something around their current platform more suited to Helo Flight with the right surge motions if enough people can get behind it. We spend $$$ building cockpits and even bigger $$$$ on PC systems to run the DCS series. Why not go the whole hog and get some motion in their as well.

Mission has been updated to include a few minor fixes. Smoke markers were not working and the enemy Helos were too tough to kill so a little explosive assistance has been given to aid your mission. Mission file update has been posted in the P51 Sticky Folder.
