Over two and a half years ago I spent a long weekend on this forum asking advice on how to order a machine that would run just DCS, the brief was around the £1500 mark [excluding monitor] just to run warthog. Sorry about the confusion, I was relating to the jets performance with various payload, examples: take off distance required, climb rate, Vstall, and so on.

Is your wingmans performance related to his payload, I not sure if the sim is clever enough to implement this, thanks in advance.

Sometimes, after I have destroyed a target called in by JTAC, I get the abort, abort, abort, command, any idea why? thanks in advance.

As I understand, if the selector is on semi auto, the computer drops what is deemed the best selection, but you can initiate this, but if you select program A and change the quantity, this is only valid for that program, so if the computer selects program E its going to ignore the quantity I selected for A. now considering I don't know what the threat is going to be, and I don't want large quantity's of counter measures to be wasted, do I have to flick through all the programs, and change the quantity's, thanks in advance.

Any idea why I got shot down by a SAM GADFLY, when I had taken out there two radar guidance units, normally I am not tracked once they are destroyed, so what's tracking me? thanks in advance.

Is there a rough formula when to start a dive in CCIP mode, using time to overhead target, and altitude, [example at 17000 feet start dive 4nms from target] I know pressure settings and terrain will make a difference, not to mention consent to release, but as stated, just a rough guide, thanks in advance.

Is there anyway to change the TOT, so a desired airspeed is shown, bellow the displayed airspeed on the HUD, so for instance if a latter time is entered, the desired airspeed would reduce, one other quick question, TMS, left short, will reset WCN, any explanation for that, thanks in advance.

Viper is indeed correct, I was referring to the damage that the CBUs inflict, rather than the graphics and frame rate performance, at the moment, the results of a 87/103 attack are so poor, they have, for the time being, become redundant, which is rather a shame, because I personally feel they are the most versatile bit of kit, that the A-10 carries.

I wonder if anyone can indulge me, I have downloaded the new patch, but as yet, I have not found the time to fly, has the issue regarding the lack lustre performance of the CBU-87, and CBU-103 been addressed yet, also anything else major, regarding pacifically the A-10? a reply would be much appreciated, and, thanks in advance to the kind sender.

Hold on there, is it possible to delay bombs in the simulator, or are you giving an example of a real life scenario, this could be a whole new ball game.

the manual states that altitude should be entered in thousands of feet using a two digit number, so, my way of thinking 02 would be two thousand feet, but, this comes up as an error, but it does except 20, but is this a value of two thousand, or twenty thousand. to compound this when I sometimes enter a number I find the number has been changed, an example is to enter 17, and the display shows 14, in my experience I am normally wrong in these situations, [age] and have read the manual incorrectly, but there's not a lot to go on, if there is a simple explanation, I would be most grateful for an answer, thanks in advance.

Can this be right, it takes three GBU-31 or GBU-10 to take down an ammo dump, I would have thought two at the very most, am I doing something wrong? thanks in advance

When i fire the maverick G nothing seems to happen, its still on the wing, yet the DSMS confirms there was a launch, this happens regardless if its locked on using TGP, or boresight mode, is this a known bug? no problem with the D's, thanks in advance.

when flying a campaign or mission, i sometimes get a list of aircraft, doing different tasks on the ''F10'' other menu, I can call these aircraft, and appoint them a task. Is it best to do this straight away, or is there a technique so they are deployed at the correct time, thanks in advance.

Whats the lowest optimum altitude to release 97/105 CBU so there is a concentrated spread, but enough altitude so they deploy correctly, thanks in advance.

First off let me explain I hardly know anything about computers, when I bought the latest rig, 18 months ago, it was on advice from this forum. The only thing I have run on my rig is A10-C, and KA-50, and they have run as smoth as silk, yesterday whwn landing, with no other traffic, the frame rate was very slow, since then its been ok, is this a sympton of a component on its way out, or just a random blip, thanks in advance.
