The PC comes with a LGA 1115/1156 standard CPU cooler, will this do the job, for an extra £19 I can get a 22BA super quiet triple copper heat pipe, or would I need something even more efficient, thanks in advance.

The system i am getting comes with surround speakers, but a normal high def 6 channel sound card, will this be OK, or will I need a soundblaster, and if so could this slow up the memory? thanks in advance.

I will not be building my own computer, I just need to know if these specs will run BS flat out with a 27inch monitor, not planning to be running any other flight sims or games, it will be dedicated to BS, thank you in advance.

PC WORLD are selling BS for £2.67 as a clearance price. On the box it does say £24.99, but its advertised on the web for £2.67 and thats how much I paid for it, yesterday. Just incase someones damaged their disk or wants to buy a back up.

I think you may have misunderstood me, the laptop is not for gaming, in fact it's not for me just a PC and monitor off the shelf £1500 to fly BS maxed out, all from the same supplier as the laptop, thanks anyway.

Hello again, i'm the guy that started the new computer thread recently, but things have changed so dramatically I thought I better start a new one: I now have £2000 to spend but theres a catch, I have to buy a laptop, PC, and a monitor, but from the same supplier. £500, pound will be allocated to the laptop, giving me £1500 for the PC and monitor, so, is there an off the shelf machine that will run BS max everything, together with a monitor pref 27" but frame rate and quality take precedence so 24" is ok, for £1500 sorry to bring this up considering how much work, and research people done last time, I am living in the UK, and just need the machine for BS, but it has to come from the same supplier thank you very much in advance.

I have been looking at old posts that say enemies can see you through trees,, is this still the case, and if it has been fixed, will I need a patch or would it already be fixed in a new copy of the sim, thanks.

Hi, i'm fairly new to this forum but have been lurking for a while, this is precisely the reason I decided to join, people with a wealth off information, and ready to impart this in so much detail, also the more posts I read, confirms how detailed the sim really is.

Track IR is £120 thats 70% the cost of the monitor why so expensive? and also any recommendations for keypad and mouse, thank you in advance.

one last thing, the BENQ V2420H is advertised as an LCD display, so is it LCD or LED, thanks again.

Well iv'e gone this far so a few pounds for a recommended monitor seems worth the money, this is exactly the advice I was looking for, thanks everyone for contributing to this thread, special thanks to EtherealIN, I will be ordering the PC in about a week or so, and look to communicating on the BS forums, cheers.

thankyou, on hindsight 27 is a bit big might go for 24 inch

it looks like the sandybridge 2500k, navidia 570, and an extra 4GB RAM [8GB total] will that run BS at highest settings , or near? any suggestions for a 27'' monitor? thanks again.

PC pilot have recomended the DIHEDRAL from easy computers upgraded with a GTX 570 it runs A10 flat out at 80fps, its £900 and I will stretch to that, for that kind of performance, any comments? also do you know when the next nvidia graphics card will be released, that might decrease the price, thanks in advance.

thank you Rahvin medium settings are fine, can you recomend a monitor to go with this remembering that its not very powerfull computer, and i would like a 24 inch, so high resolution is not a good idea.

Thank you for your replies, I am living in the UK, budget is about £600-£700, thats just for the PC, I thought it would be easy to find a cheap, off the shelf computer to run a two year old game, as already stated it would be dedicated to black shark only, as it stands, no upgraded version, thank you again.

thank you for your replies, ok can someone please recomend an off the shelf pc, that will run black shark, with everything flat out, no specs just a specific pc, and if possible a 24 inch moniter to go with it, it does not have to support an upgrade, or run any other sim, just black shark, thankyou.
