  1. I did the license check (a great resource BTY) and both the upgrade license and the full version are both registered to my account. However, in the module manager in DCS World 2.0 there are two serial numbers listed in the serial number pull-down menu for BS2. One of those serial numbers are for the recently downloaded Full version of BS2. But, the second serial number is not recognized at all. The second serial number shown in the module manager is not from the upgrade version. When I tried to unbind the upgrade serial number, I received a message saying that "One or more parameters are invalid". So, I could not unbind the upgrade version. I understand that you are not responsible. However, thanks for your recommendations thus far.
  2. In the recommendations you provided, are we talking about DCS World 1.5 and/or 2.0? Yes, I believe I bought both keys from ED. Certainly the most recent one.
  3. What happens to my existing version of BS2. If I remove the upgrade key, will that make my BS2 install inactive?
  4. I removed the Ka-50 folder from the path "C:\Program Files (x86)\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World 2 OpenAlpha\Mods\aircraft". Next, I bought what I thought was a full working version of BS2 from the Eagle Dynamics website. However, after removing the folders, BS2 is not in the module manager. I still see the request to install BS1. In my profile I have two serial numbers for BS2. Looks like I threw away 30+ dollars downloading a module that I already had and BS2 is nether installed and is still asking for BS1. WTF! Any idea what the heck is happening???
  5. I have been unable to install upgrades to BS2. The module manager says I must install BS1. I did not want to install a very out of date software version. Doing so has not helped. 6. Would I need to uninstall the existing version of BS2? How does one uninstall a module from DCS World? I have several campaigns installed. If I uninstall BS2 will this affect the installed modules? there is a sale going on now.
  7. I have an identical issue. I bought the retail boxed version BS1 way back when it was sold on a DVD. BS1 is no longer installed on my machine. Some version of BS2 is installed and working under DCS World. Some time ago, I bought an BS2 upgrade through DCS and I have that key in my DCS profile. But, the upgrade process says I must reinstall BS1 on my PC. I am completely confused as to what I need to do and this has been going on for nearly 2 years. Can I just buy a full version of BS2 and install it and be done with it?
  8. Yeah, last night I bought the Normandy map and the Spitfire. Installed them both and tried to fly Normandy in free flight mode on DCS World 2.0 and a message popped up saying that I needed the assets module. So I bought the assets module and while I was at it, I also bought the Spitfire campaign. After that everything ran perfectly.
  9. So then, without the asset pack there are no missions?
  10. I want to buy the best first DCS WWII plane. So, I am asking what's the best one to start with? If that plane is a P-51, Spit, or whatever. I am asking those who know more than i do on this topic. Not pooping on the P-51.
  11. So, it seems that the P-51D is out-classed in several areas. I am considering buying my first WWII DCS Plane. Clearly, that first plane should not be a P-51D. What then should I buy? 190, or 109?
  12. Without the Asset Pack, are there restrictions in the missions available with the Normandy map? Why am I asking? I am considering buying the Normandy map without buying the Asset Pack.
  13. The oxygen annunciation flag is showing that it is working.
  14. Glad to know I am not the only one with this problem. I cannot understand how a simple shuttering of the plane would pilot to blackout. However, I do understand why I cannot control the plane in the external view. It's because the pilot is unconscious, and therefore unable to move the stick or anything else for that matter.
  15. OK, I get it now. I am switching specific options (flight mode / avionics mode) as opposed to one blanket catch-all option. Thanks. That was easy.
  16. Thanks. So how do change from Sim Mode to Game Mode or Game Mode to Sim Mode? This has always been a well guarded secret in DCS titles.
  17. Kind of ridiculous to make so few commands available in Game Mode.
  18. In Game Mode, there is no command "S" for nose wheel steering. The command only seems to exist for Sim Mode? Is there a reason for not being able to nose wheel steer the plane in Game Mode???
  19. So, I black out and the plane, wings and all flutters because I am not flying fast enough?
  20. Out of all the DCS modules I have, the F-5 is the only module experiencing this. Also, I tried lowering quality setting in order to eliminate frame issues, with no change. As with all my DCS modules, I run with full res settings.
  21. This is happening with Version 1.5 as well as 2.0 of DCS World. I have many DCS modules. I bought the F-5E module last week during the sale. This issue only happens with the F-5E
  22. Shuttering like the wings are shaking and fluttering.
  23. Yeah, I am not sure which mode I am playing in.
  24. It seems that I am blacking out. However, when I switch to the external view. I see that the plane is shuttering. Any idea why this happens?
  25. I forgot to mention that when the screen goes nuts and blacks out, I switch to external view and the whole plane is shuttering during the shuttering the stick cannot control the plane. There is no roll or pitch control during the shuttering. What is that all about?
