Very fast targets can escape to the lock > firing. 15 TWS locks not centering on primary SAMs with more lock range on a receding target than an approaching target This has some logic, since the radar signature of a receding target is bigger than an incomeing one has. US AWACS needs to be reworked. It's more of a hindrance than a help.   2. Hi everybody. I will start makeinga campain, and deliver the missions as soon I finish each of them. This is the beginning ofthe campain, enjoy it (coments are welcome) PS: by the way, is a russian campain bythe moment, SU27 is the start here, and SU33 is planed for later missions) I plan to make this campain to be looooong, so if you like it, keep the missions Details: version 1.12a, the missions are clasified, dificulty has been planed to be from medium to hard, and the spirit is to try to give the missions a good "tactical" level.   3. But it worked... I reinstalled the sim, without success. I also uninstalled all codecs but the problem still there. Does anybody knows how to manually find any codec that may be is still installed and Im not seein it?

No. I have observed this too: In a gun dogfight, usually I hit the IA (F15, F4, f18, mirage, with all these I saw this happen) the engine starts smoking and burning, after 5 seconds aprox, the smokes desapears, and the aircraft starts to acelerate again.. and continue doing evasives like if I would have never hit him. So, may be it is like Prophet_169t said and IA has diferent flying models, but if so, those models are not realistic and definitly they are wrong.
  5. Im pretty sure this is some kind of bug. I have observe this situation LOT os time since I noticed for the first time, so now, everytime I can see a combat, I watch the IA... When you or another IA pilo damage an enemy, you can see smoke, fire on one engine, half a wing all broken, no alerons, looseing fuel, etc, I mean, you can see IA pilots flying damaged planes but... no more than a "visual damaged" they seem to have, because despite all the damage they have, they not only continue flying as normal, but also continue in combat. I don´t think it is posible that an F14 with only 1 engine can go to full speed, just to recall an example I see just a few hs ago. This is a bug, something bad modelled or what? PS: I fly 1.12a

  7. I try to render to avi a track I did. But lockon just close and drops me to the desktop. I tried to uninstall al compressions codecs, and installed the alprysoft codec as I read in a similar post following your sugestions, but still when Y tried to record the AVI, just drops me to the desktop. This problem begun when I selected DIVX codec in the rendering options, after the "drop to desktop" problem appeared. Now I unistalled the divx codec, but the problem still is there. Anyone knows how to fix this, how to go back to default recording values? Thanks for the help

  12. dinamic campaign Im 200% agree with you. But, dinamic campaign seems to be a much more dificult objetive to reach than fixeing the little details we still have. I wonder how LO will have a dinamic campaign if we still don´t have a simple refuel basket in MP missions.... Don´t missunderstand me: a dinamic campaign would be something that would make me cry of happiness, but tell me, since you have a more "close" see to ED than me since you are a tester: do you really think a dinamic campaign will arise if ED still has not adress the other requests, much more simple to fix? From a programmer point of view: how difficult could be to put some little checkings in the code to avoid a player to put a tank over a tree or a buk system in middle of a forest? Correct me if Im wrong please, but to introduce such a checking in the actual code, would be much easier than building new code for a dinamic campaign. But, as I said before, I think the real issue are not te specific requests themselves, but ED not hearing and giveing answers to customers requests.
  13. Swing Kid and other ED people Hi, not much post from me in the forubut this time I would like to give some comments about this particular discussion that leads to other ones. Swing Kid you reply as if you feel people here is "atacking" ED or something. I don´t think that is the situation. The are some issues with LO that mus be solved, or AT LEAST treated. The ME is one of them, make it more "friendly" would be an improvement, at least as a start. Scripting, and other requested features would be graet, but let´s start ofr something at the least, do you agree? That is why the people here is requesting. A flight sim is complex? sure it is! Im a programmer myself and I know... but people here is not only "fan" of LO, are customers... ED should, must, have to listen them, at least in my opinion. Their comments would help to improve the product, or aren´t we paying for LO? The real issue I think it is people asking to improve some important details of the sim before going on with more addon´s and patches. ME is one, but what about with older ones? Remember the refuel basquet??? It is invisible since flanker 2.0 version... How is it posible that ED has not fix that till today? ED is makeing a GREAT job with LOMAC, Im sure of this and that is why I bought it, but, let´s agree that ED may be is failing to adress some customers opinions/complains/requests

  15. Yes, I have seen a drop of fps with 1.12a. I have stuttering now while flying low in mountains for example. The explosions also geve me 1 seconds stops. Theses things didn´t happend in 1.11. No change in graphics config

  19. Clarify me something please: a semi active radar is guided all the way to his target by the plane´s radar who lauched it. So, if it is the plane´s radar who is guideing, and if this radar never loose its lock onto the target, why is the missile fooled by a chaff decoy? if the radar is always locked onto the target and never locks the chaff, why the missile can be fooled by the chaff decoy? If the radar would loose his lock... that would be a different story, by my question is in the situation of never looseing look onto the target.
  20. already did I already did that, in the middle position, efectiveness is much low. Of course efectiveness of enemy misilles is low too, but, now I have the feeling of shooting "nothing", and evading enemy misiles is more easy now, and took out some "condiment" to the fight.
  21. version 1.12 has introduced great "improvements" to some areas. Misiles for exaple, now the alamo series has a lot less efectiveness. My setup has the missiles efectiveness bar all to the right... and is almost imposoble, at least for me to hit a fighterfrom 40 km... Ok, I know that is not much dificult to evade such a launch if you make evasive manuevers but I have been watching the IA, and is clearly much more easy to evade the misiles now than in 1.11 version. Does anyone think that this "tune up" has gone too far here? semi active missiles should be fooled that easy by chaff decoys???????
