I turned uac off on my last install of windows about 6 months ago and i've been good to go. DCS is installed in program files on my ssd and i have not had anything weird so far thank God. :thumbup: I only use that pc for DCS anyway.

I'm building my A-10 version at the moment and use real aces ii cushions and replace the worn out foam with the blue yoga mat foam i found a wal-mart and it works perfect. I bought a seat kit from flim and modified it alittle with the seat angle of 15*

I didn't get a chance to test this last night but should be able to tonight. I really like the new tweaks to the impact sounds. I can't wait to get a buttkicker. This is the perfect mod for it. I'm sure we have all heard these.

Will do.. I'll do a before test to get my ears acclimated then try the new mod. Just from the video it sounded better.

I like the fade and blur. Do you have a 1920x1080 setup by chance?

I'm thinking about going with the LFE and play with the vol knob and find a good balance in vibrations. My pit is going to include the seat, left/right consoles, and the front panel which all of these items will be secured to a solid floor pan. I want the eniter pit to vibrate not just the seat. If i was going to just have a seat then the simulation kit would be ideal. I love their site, it's a great weath of information.

First of all i hope what's between my legs does not get ejected because i'm still using it even though my wife threatens to take it away from me. I'm not egress certified "so don't quote me" but the right side is needed for the eject sequence and looks like it connects to system that fires the main rocket not the stapc so i was going to use two switches and run them in parallel. So if any egress experts can fill me, please do! Thanks

I'm building the left handle now so i will have both sides working along with the arm switch. Thank you sir. Yes SC did an outstanding cnc job. The bottem section has been alot of jigsaw work. I hope to get more pics up monday. I plan to do some more work tonight and sunday.

I can't wait to get that far along in the build to bolt that bad boy on. It looks like buttkickers are sold out everywhere at the moment. I think if i mount very stong buttkicker (LFE 1000w) in the middle of my pit platform then that should give an even vibration through the entire pit. I want to feel it in the flight stick and throttle along with the rudder pedals.

Thank you. I have alot to do still but i might get a chance to work on it sunday. The seat pan area needs alot of detail. This has been a fun build and my pit starts with the seat so once i get it finished the consoles are next. I'm also going to bolt a buttkicker LFE kit to the pit floor pan on the underside and just need to figure out where the ideal mounting area would be, either just forward or aft of the flight stick mount.

This is a modified umc 2.0 aces ii seat made by flim from scsimulations. The seat stock is very nice but i wanted a more realistic seat hight and get the eject handles and arm switch working. I have a long way to go and progress is so far so good! It's starting to get cold here so i hope i can get it painted before the temps drop to low. Note the seat will not be 100% accurate. Hope this gives some ideas for your seat.

Man your almost there.. It's kinda sad this kind of detail was left out of the initial release. I wish i could help with this but it's beyond me.

I may use strong magnets to hold the handles and arm switch down, then use magnetic switches for the circuits. Important still building the seat so it won't be long until i get to work on the electronics.

These work very well with helios. I am using two 1031 boards at the moment.

I have this seat and working on making the handles function along with the arm switch.

Nice guide. Thank you. I have a real IFF panel i am going to wire up to do other non flight related input for the sim. The IFF is not modeled so might as well us it for something.

The military grade pots i have don't work like this but standerd pots will. The ones i have are from the 60's but they are in perfect condition. They are laid out a little weird but they work.
