All i did was copy and paste your mod files and i'm not sure by looking at the code what copy into the 0.9 files. Can you post your 0.9 files from your install.
You could be on to something with this. You could sell these as a template kit for people who don't have as much time to build who want to trace and cut.. just a thought.
Looks pretty cool.. can't say i have ever seen this before
They come with a .32 most of the time. the smaller tip is perfect for just about anything unless you are soldering heavy pcb's or think grounds. The temp setting i use is 750 for lead and 900 for lead free. The wesd51 is a good unit.
Keep up the good work man!
WOW! nice lighting.. i'll have to try this out when i get my build going. Hey if your looking for a great iron i can tell you a weller wes51 with the .64 long conical tips is the best iron i've ever used and it's only around $85 online. I have use $2G Pace irons and did not like it compared to the weller. I own a cell phone and game console repair shop here in tulsa and have been soldering for 15 years so if your looking for a better iron the wes51 is all i'll use.
You should put up a youtube walkaround with the lighting.
Understandable.. I'm using a 21" touch screen in my buil. I'm going to remove the bezel and mount iy flush with the front console. I want a UFC from pitbildr then I'll build the landing gear assembly.
The projector is a good idea
It's looking good.. I'm ready to see more pics. What make and model of projector are you using? You may be on to something with the projecter idea. It should work, i hope the images are clear and crisp.
Bunrs
I would just run one large screen. I had TH2GO with 3x screens and made the switch to a 47in LED TV and i won't go back. TIR provides all the situational awareness you need. IMHO just use the biggest single screen you can get. If you don't have TIR then i would save up and get one asap.
Man your missing out..lol Here is the link to the developers website. http://www.scsimulations.com/ and it's free now! SC Simulations has great group of knowledgeable people ready to help.
The software will allow you to run a touchscreen lcd and simulate panels. You can push buttons and throw switches. It can even output information to phidgets for led control and other devices like servos for gauges
Here is the link to cap loz profile i use for my setup.. Check out the screen shots. http://www.scsimulations.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=81
.
Here is another link to Flim's video of him using helios.
I could see you mounting a big touchscreen in the center of your front console. Your on the diving board.. now it's time to jump!
Makes sence if the aircraft is setup to land and glide slope is correct. The aircraft should "land" itself as long as no large inputs are needed. fun to watch
Great job! That turned out very well with lots of room for possible addons like panels. I'm working on getting a UMC 2.0 seat from flim then its on with the pit build. I really like your setup.
Edit: You could put a 1920/1080 touchscreen in the front console and run helios.. just a thought.
Age limits suck and time is a terrible thing. Flying fighters is more of a young mans game. That's to bad man cause you would of been a great choice. I place higher during races because i also do all of my repairs from the engine to the suspension and fully understand how my bike works and know how to tune it.
My hats off to everyone involed with aviation in general.. I have to tip my hat in a big way to fighter pilots.. Their is so much they have to keep up with and manage in a split second and not get dead. The mental muscle memory is impressive. I got to sit in the jet for almost an hour shootin the bull and learning alot from the cheif.. I only wish a pilot would of been there.. I would of really liked to of had the honor of learning from his experience.
I consider my self lucky to have gotten the chance to climb in.. How could you not have a big ego flying a fighter.. I beat if you got to taxi it around and run up the engine you would need help carrying your sack home.
