How would feel buying a six speed gearbox in your new car , finding out it has only 5 and told not to worry cuz the kids need sending to school . This has always been an issue on open unorganised servers ..... the fast jet ego jockys do what they want and go after other fighters , and 95% of the time couldnt care less about the strike packages . In an organised game , its amazing how their tactics are forced to change into what they should be doing in the first place . The AV-8B could make a very usefull strike package companion , cuz it doesnt have the range or speed to go up against 27 , 33 and the like . Can carry AMRAAM (i think) and would be usefull in any attack oriented squad , imo .

I doubt the cockpit door is hydraulic or pneumatic ..... probably has something simlar to the baggage hat rack bins on pax aircraft , air pressure actuator , no sound at all . Why would it ever need to be powered at all ? ..... just more crap that can go wrong .

There's no might about it ..... but your suggestion sounds good as there is only one engine , you only need one throttle ..... keep zoom on the slider . Great lookin model though . And it could also possibily opperate from a FARP too .

After market products are quite amazing , like weighted wheels , brass pitot tubes , resin non seam intakes and full detail cockpits and afterburner cans , weapon sets . I find glue disbonds quite quickly . Im holding out for the ones originally mentioned in this thread , as they seem to be updated , and I said that I would buy one from the start ..... and their bound .

Theres gotta be some decent realistic Iraq or Afganistan nose art birdys out there ..... Did my little pony fly in Afganistan , that woulda made the Taliban run for sure !!!

Unzipp the rar file , and there is a readme file in there , just follow the instructions , and it will tell you where to place the file .

Credit due ..... Question ..... you make skin installation easy with your method , why do others insist on having to edit VFStextures , which is a real pain ? Are you intending on doing any more camo skins for A-10C ..... maybe using A-10A liveries ? Will your skins be included in the next module update ?

Yeah ..... I dont mind seeing fictious skins at all , but Im just saying that I would like to see more (a better variety) realistic ones . Heater , your skins are brilliant , as Ive said many times before . But the issue is that you cant see them in multiplayer , unless others have them installed . Is the Red Socks one realistic ? So it would be good to see them included in the next module update is what im getting at ..... and more camo !!! Do those skins that you posted above , work in DCS World ?

While the UK skins look very cool indeed , they arnt realistic . Be nice to see a more realistic variety of skins .

Is there a possibility of ED includeing more realistic skins in future updates for DCS A-10C . There are some beuatiful skins out there , especially by Heater and Tom Weiss that really could be included ..... There are 3 seperate skins for the OS squadron based in South Korea , a magic camo skin for the dogpatchers , and of course the biggest wing within the USAF that ever opperated the A-10 , the 81st TFW Bentwaters/Woodbridge ..... Gulf War skins etc etc . We definetly need more camo skins . While it could be argued that some of the skins I mentioned above are really from the "A" model , There isnt a Spanish , German , French , Russian or Belgian examples ..... ever . Variety is the spice of life after all , and A-10A to "C" model , really isnt that differant , liverywise . So , I would like to see more "A" model skins being used , as opposed to totally unrealistic ones that are already included .

Maybe you could programe the slider on the TM Warthog to act as a nozzle selector lever . Thats an ignorant lookin throttle lever too !!! But what to use for zoom then ?

Well , my reason against the P-51 , is there is nothing to fly against except other P-51's ..... and for a realism factor that doesnt work . I would go for the A-10C ..... easier to fly than the KA-50 , but avionics wish a big learning curve , and from what I hear more challanging than the 50 . A-10 all the way .
