Have posted this on the input controllers page but in a hope to get a fast response (not knowing how fequented the other thread is), i have also posted it here - hope thats OK mods. Would really appreciate some help with regards to my X52 Pro which has just gone nuts the last 2 days (no other changes in that time). This problem has nothing directly to do with the A10, but does concern attempting to use the profile i have. originally downloaded from here http://files.lockon.ru/en/406/ Basically whenever the profile is active through the Saitek Smart Technology software, all i get are lots of asterix's(************************************), and the computer beeping away like mad because of the button presses. I have looked in the profile and cant see any asterix in there, and when i look in the saitek control panel, i dont see any buttons looking like they are in an ON state, so dont know why i am getting the problem. If the profile isnt loaded everything is OK. I downloaded this profile from another user, modified it, and having been using it for weeks, then all of a sudden this. I have tried re-installing drivers/software but have the same problem. Any ideas please?? Thanks

On the same note, i have been flying one of the campains where you have to ensure 2 tank regiments (packer and another) reach their objective. I noticed that it will briefly show in the top right hand corner of the screen, that either they have been lost and i presume mission lost, or that they succeeded. I have flown the mission a couple of times and have sometimes missed the message because i have been too busy with my head in the cockpit (ok, i know i should be looking out the window - but i am still new to all this). Is there a way to recall this type of message, because if the people i am supposed to be protecting have been destroyed (but i missed the message), there is no point in me continuing and i might as well start again

(obviously with the aim to complete the mission successfully. So this will set it to AAA, SAM1, SAM2, etc. and the appropriate dispenser program, i just hit the button?? Thanks for your kind help

Hello Have lurked here for 6 weeks or so since buying the A10, and have just been trying to absorb as much info as possible, but boy is this one big game. Have so far just been playing the instant action missions, and eventually getting on OK with them. I want to start progressing now in to the missins though. Have a couple of quick questions, sorry, i am sure they have been asked before: 1. If i want to start a mission like Devils Cross on the runway is that possible? I know fo some this seems wrong and that you should start from cold and dark, but i dont have enough "game playing" time on an evening with other commitments to sit there for 10 minutes starting the hog up. I would much rather just be able to jump in with everything running and off i go. 2. I get shot down a lot. I want to put my CSMS (?) in to full auto, but when i do that it just gets rid of all my chaff and flares in seconds. I know i can set it to the next one down (Standby??), and manually adjust the program, but then i obviously have to remember to press the appropriate buttons, and being new in the heat of the battle with lots of other stuff going on i usually forget, and the next thing i know my tails missing and i am going down. Is there a way to limit the amount of C&F get banged out on auto? 3. Upon finishing a mission (if i do keep my tail attached to the plane), what do you do to end it? Once back at the runway do you have to park where you started, or just stick it anywhere?? Thanks in advance
