  1. 8GB of RAM is more than enough for DCS. Along with mirrors, Depth of Field settings are a frame rate killer. Try turning that off.
  2. ^ Maybe this. I had issues with PAC and an ED member told me: "The EAC and it's dependencies are essential for PAC to work. You will notice the nose move a bit down when engaging PAC mid-air. If any of the EAC's dependencies is gone, apart from the warning indication you will notice PAC, EAC will deactivate and the nose lift a bit. Also opening the air refueling door, disengages both EAC and PAC... unfortunately that is one of the most inconvenient moments to lift the nose." Basically, make sure the Autopilot system is armed or else PAC will not function.
  3. :) Thank you. Read the FAQ but couldn't find this anywhere.
  4. Is this where I go to install the beta? Or is this just for updates?
  5. I'll join you. I'm not a rookie but I'm certainly no expert and I need to practice against humans. I fly the 109.
  6. The .exe file installs the video files into the proper folders. Then, you view the videos from within DCS World itself. It shouldn't matter if it is the Steam version, as long as the installer is pointing to the correct directory.
  7. I believe training material is installed separately. On the DCS Website, go to Downloads/Video.
  8. Adding a modifier to your controls will nearly double the available buttons to map on your flight stick. This won't help with multiple keys for one action, but it will give you more available buttons on your controller.
  9. I'm still trying to understand all of this so I'm sorry if this is a noobish question...the manual labels that gauge as supercharger pressure. So because the supercharger is controlling the air pressure, it is also an indicator of manifold pressure?
  10. Understood, thanks.
  11. The manual says, "Please note that, unlike in many Allied aircraft, the Manifold Pressure gauge is used to set power in the Bf 109K-4. The Tachometer merely provides feedback from the engine." What gauge shows the Manifold Pressure? Is it the same as the MW-50 gauge?
  12. I was waiting for the "project" to finish before I cashed in on my backer rewards. I guess that is pointless now.
  13. Will the keys work for both DCS World and DCS WWII: Europe 1944 when it's released?
  14. Steam is showing Oct. 1st? I couldn't find this on the forum.
