  1. Had the same issue. Chalked it up to the simulation of drift in the helo (Ka-50). Now that I’ve calibrated with the utility she’s rock solid! Thanks all.
  2. Concur. I get the search light to move but the mini puddle of light below the aircraft does not budge.
  3. Welcome! I’ve been at it for years and it still challenges. The beauty of the module. Keep at it and take it slow. One feature at a time is the only way.
  4. Link to the file packaged for OvGME: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3304469 Thanks again dimitriov
  5. As Madmatt_BFC said: it's dimitriov's work. Not for us to take liberties with his efforts. I'll get it hosted publicly if he's happy to do so. Give it time and I'll get to it. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  6. Does anyone still have this mod that might pass it on? I'd gladly find a way to host it until the fabled fixes are realised. With permission from dimitriov, of course.
  7. Too bad. It worked well. I’ll try to track it down. As an aside, was it difficult to mod the cockpit nvg lights to be brighter? That’s the main part of the mod I need.
  8. The link is broken. Is there any other source for download? Last mod I need to get going and it's a good one for the NVG blue light.
  9. +1 to using TIR for ‘live’ aiming of the cannon. I have to assume this mode must have been intended for use as such as an option. I also agree with the 1:1 TrackIR curve. I set mine up in this way up until the left and right vertical canopy frame and vertically between the top and bottom frames (basically inside the forward view canopy frames. Outside of this zone I smoothly ramp up the tracking rate to comfortably look back either side around 135 degrees and 90 degrees up and down. The 1:1 zone need not be greater than this due to the cannon gimbal limits. I’ve not used it so for long but already find the cannon far more flexible in running fights. Practice and it becomes very accurate. I’d highly recommend persevering at it.
  10. I’ve been away from flying the KA50 for a while now and had updated to 2.5 before jumping back in so I cannot say for certain that it’s due to the update. I don’t recall looking at it in 1.5.7. However, it does seem that the handling of the nav aids is different in 2.5? I also thought it might be due to realistic comms that I use but it’s not related.
  11. I disabled all through JSGME, did a repair, selected the default cockpit. Same thing: no names.
  12. Hi All Looked high and low with minimal success for an answer to why there are no airfield names on my ARK beacon list placard stuck to the right in my cockpit. Whether Instant Action, Training, Self made missions or Campaign. I've looked through the various files with not great understanding (ark.lua, beacon.lua, etc) and experimented with various edits as well as using the Mission Editor beacon frequency defines option. The best I can do is get the beacon IDs displayed. Is this how it is to be or am I missing something (most likely:music_whistling:). I'm using Ricardo's cockpit (very pretty) and English avionics option. I've attached what the placard looks like.
  13. Many thanks.
  14. Great solution RoboPhred! Will give that a try! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. Definitely interested in this. The original is really only good for rough, large-throw applications. Having tried many work-arounds, both through software and hardware (nubs, ps controllers and the like) I concluded that your idea is the best solution by far. I don't have the know-how to confidently tackle the problem though. Will be watching with interest with wallet ready....
  16. Thanks Chuck Keep me coming. Thanks for your efforts....
  17. Hi all: first question, thanks in advance for the help. Has anyone used the G940 rudder pedals with a TM Warthog? I have the peds connected through the G940 Joystick. This ain't elegant, there must be a better way. Wondering if a simple 9-pin to usb connector will work?

  19. Been through this exercise a couple times with the Digital F22. Win 7 doesn't do gameports, as you said. I tried using an old soundcard with the gameport and works fine in Winxp - Win7 = no joy. The adapter would work according to my searching but you cannot program the HOTAS at all :( All you get is a 4 axis, 4 button w. POV setup. I gave up and bought a G940. Then gave up again ;) and bought the Warthog. All smiles now. The experimenting happened a while back and things may have moved on, so don't give up just yet. Good luck and let us know if something works.
