For that pop-up looks you may need to run a DCS repair. @P3CFE For technical reasons audio redirect is not supported for Jester. For the F-14 it is recommended to switch off Redirect or select (default) device. This will be added to the user manual thanks. @sthompson Following with interest but a lot will depend on how much of it is actually made technically accessible in one form or another by ED. Let's see what will be feasible. @FF got it, thanks for that one.

@gonvise The plugin doesn't send key commands. If you see a wheel you didn't enable AIRIO (EX tab) and restart DCS. @Gizzy Thanks for flagging update 2.5.9.9 has fix.

@Gannon Tune radio with the Select command e.g. 'Texaco,..Select'. @emc Already there: open DCS and look under the Options/Special tab.

Yes so some of these things are on the roadmap, i.e. they are planned for coming updates. Radio tuning with Select you can also do with easy comms off: enable the 'Select Tunes Radio' setting in Preferences.

No shouldn't be an issue if AIRIO is not activated. We'll investigate.

@Shimmer After repair update plugin to 2.5.9.4 (automatically or manually via download from the website). Then enable AIRIO in EX tab and reset first VA before starting DCS. Confirm VA runs as admin and the plugin is on automatic lua install and/or using Custom Path option.

From the included Install Notes Notes On This Release: F-14 radio tuning is done using the regular plugin commands (Select). Not in current release (planned for upcoming updates): ICS hot mic functionality and TACAN Beacon tuning for TAC (do TACAN TAC tuning manually). You can have Jester select DL frequencies and any TACAN fixed ground station: consult the reference tables on User Manual pages 53-58.

Coool thanks for the feedback. The Wheel may come back in at some point but that's not confirmed at this time.. BTW there seems to be some snag atm that can be affecting keyboard settings, hotfix is underway. Datalink has it's own commands you can check the reference tables. No need to say Jester! Grtz

If you have an exit you may want to check your Windows application log. These are known to be caused by peripheral stuff sometimes e.g. joystick drivers, so not necessarily plugin related. Log will provide clues. @Birdman ICS is on TX5 but you will be able to use any TX for Jester/Iceman dialog. Hotmic ICS function may follow later, also depending on next VA stable version update which will have some new possibilities in that area.

It's going really well. Obviously a lot of testing and finetuning to be done still. I'll tell you one thing: Interacting with Jester without menus will be a whole different ballgame :thumbup: Stay tuned!

Hey guys just for clarity the regular procedure after a DCS update is 1) Close DCS, 2) Restart VA, 3) Start DCS. Hope it helps, grtz

@schurem @dburne Work and testing on the AIRIO extension is progressing well and release should be on time. @falcon Not sure what it has to do with the plugin. VAICOM PRO doesn't use F-key sends and Rejoin command works fine. @SonofEil Speak slowly and leave pauses manual page 15. @Rangoon Hard to tell, best to try by elimination. HW monitoring app and GPU-Z could be involved but also don't rule out antivirus/power/BIOS schemes interrupting devices (e.g. NIC) after some timeout. @lazerwolf Thanks, PM @Drac You'll need to contact that third party. @tmansteve If there are duplicate commands the primary profile (i.e.. VAICOM PRO profile) will overrule the ones in the daisy-chained profile, so it's not an issue.

@Kazius This is caused by the Garmin NS340: you'll need to disable it. PM sent. @Rangoon I get that this occurs with the KA-50 only. Any other apps running at the same time? Can you have a look if dcs.log telling you anything. @Harker That's interesting about those oil and gas platforms, can you PM me a link to the .miz file to test with please. @All for the F-14 you need to be on the latest plugin build 2.5.9.2. There was a bug (now fixed) that prevents download from completing when Audio Redirect is switched on. You can try again with Redirect switched off or download the latest VAICOMPRO.dll from the website and replace manually. If the F-14 is not recognised carefully inspect your lua files install any other apps you may have running e.g. in export.lua. @SD If you enable the F10 import option and fly a mission for the first time, the menu items are added to the keywords database (phrases starting with 'Action'). Apply the finish steps and next time you fly the mission you can call the items directly with voice command without invoking any menu. Alternatively you can use @Eaglewings approach also. :pilotfly:

Today's plugin update was to enable standard radio communications functionality on the F-14. The upcoming AIRIO extension is a separate module for VAICOM PRO that allows you to interact with Jester directly without using the menu wheel. This is going through testing atm and will be released in the next week or two. Grtz

Hey guys, some notes: @Dutch As @weegie says: disable Auto-start in the EX tab. @SilentWarrior Chatter Themes has appx. 2000 different audio fragments atm representing some 14 hours of total playtime. For background use, randomized playback by design. @Drac Yes thanks for updating. @PipN No need to reinstall anything. Just apply proper speech timing (manual p15) and use the correct phrases from the Reference tables in the manual. @tmansteve You can make separate canopy command in you profile, just don't use the exact phrase as already used by the plugin. @Atelophobia Very low recognition rates usually point to a problem with your mic/device routing setup. You need to spend time with the manual and ref tables: all commands for radio tuning menu control etc. are already there i.e. no need to add anything. BTW You can also use the German recognition engine if you prefer: make a translation of the English keywords to German and export your .csv file to share with the community http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3795713&postcount=1636
