@slicker OK looks like your update got stuck somehow. You can look in the apps folder and see if there is an update cache file and/or folder still there. If so, delete them and restart VA. If not, get the latest plugin from the website manually and replace your VAICOMPRO.dll.

@ForceGhost No date committed yet but if all goes well should be within a few weeks of F-14AB Early Access release. @slicker55 Regardless of headphones or not you can use the audio feature with your default device and use the radio panning possibilities. Then there's headphones/headsets in closed, half-open and open varieties: with closed type you are sealed off but if you have a half-open or open type headset (such as many headsets including the Rift) you can use redirect to hear room ambient audio at the same time as hearing comms audio coming through your earpieces. @dawgie79 Ok could be some subtle message parameter thing, will investigate.

@waistcat You get the same muting effect when you open and close the menu a few times with the \ key without running VA/VAICOM PRO. Even when you clear the plugin lua code completely the issue still remains. So like the sidewinder tone this is one to report to RAZBAM, the problem is not with VAICOM.

Try use the keywords editor to simplify e.g. remove the (SEAD) part. @DutchCoolHand Double click the AI communications command (lowest) to get to the When I Say field. Remove comms key/button binds in DCS, see User Manual pages 10-13. @Rogue For the Rift try with What @Greyman says. Windows desktop audio to speakers. In Oculus Home/Devices/Rift set to Rift Headphones w/ Mirror VR audio and Hear Computer Audio off. In DCS VR options use built-in audio device off. Then in VAICOM PRO set audio output device to Oculus Rift.

@chaser You need to confirm you downloaded Chatter.dll and put in the right folder, correctly activated your chatter license and have your chatter settings/volume so that it can be heard. If still not hearing anything you'll need to inspect your audio driver settings. Apps like SonicSuite etc. have been known to make a mess of audio routing. @Snacks that's a nice one, you should put it on the User Files section with a VAICOM tag.

@Gary It's showing PRO, meaning the previous registration in your machine is still valid. No need to do anything. Just import the profile and enable keyboard shortcuts to open the config window with LCtrl+LAlt+C. Grtz

@dawgie79 Cool thanks for updating. @Ares63 Yes you can do that by creating a dynamic VA profile where you create additional TX press/release commands using Exposed Variables. a few words about it here @Badger. Yes I see it in dcs.log but it's unclear what's causing it. VAICOM PRO has been tested to run together with Tacview and various other tools. The snag seems related to a third app i.e. another entry in your Export.lua. First you must make sure that you have the latest versions of all apps and then try disable other entries in Export.lua that could be causing this issue. PM me if you need more help. @Tinkickef RivaTuner Statistics Server is know to cause problems with opening the config window. Set Application detection level for VoiceAttack to None. Otherwise inspect Windows Application log for more details. Removing the config subfolder resets settings.

This would allow you to e.g. play DCS ambient sounds on room speakers while at the same time hearing comms audio via your helmet/headset. DCS does not have such a possibility. As a result of some serious hard dev work VAICOM PRO will now have exactly this option. Starting from upcoming plugin release 2.5.9, PRO users can choose to re-route their DCS comms audio to a separate output device. To make it even better, L/MID/R panning can be applied to the individual aircraft radios for maximum immersion and realism. 2.5.9 will also have various other improvements and fixes.
