  1. OK it can't be reproduced here, all working fine. Tested with SRS mode on/off, Easy Comms on/off SNGL/MULTI and various other settings, all looking normal. Assuming you're using correct TX keys, Select to tune recipient etc. we'll need some specific clues, like are there any standout messages in the VA log window or dcs.log. Is the VA headset showing mic mute when you transmit. In DCS are all sliders set at 50%, are your Audio Redirect setting Off/Default. EDIT: One option you can try in any case is delete the Config subfolder and restart VA.
  2. @zionid 'Set scan 200' is not a command, e.g. 'Scan Range 200' is. Check the reference tables. @Dudikoff Already answered for @zionid two posts before you: update VA to 1.7.5.
  3. @GhostDad Running Chatter? Curious to hear if (un)installing chatter dll makes a difference. @Matchstick Select Tunes Radio is for Easy Comms off. Best to just test with it to see how it works. If you select a specific recipient unit ("Anvil,... Select) the system tunes the radio device corresponding to the TX/PTT key used. Frequency and modulation data for all mission units is read directly from DCS by the plugin. @zionid Update your VA to current version 1.7.5.
  4. OK assuming all your VA/dll versions are up to date and your TX config checks out. -Are you using SNGL Mode, try MULTI, try with another TX than TX4, making sure to hold PTT long enough. -Is it the same with using ICS HOT MIC or not. Confirm Audio Redirect is off. -Is there a difference between Easy Comms on or off, -Is this with the Steam version, with openbeta or both. -Does the LIST button on the About page confirm your AIRIO license is valid. -Did you have 'Auto-import new modules' enabled in config before you installed the F-14 module. -Try reset Keywords and Settings on the Reset tab, restart VA and test again. Let me know how it goes thanks
  5. @ GhostDad Well that's funny then, 'AIRIO commands are not available' points specifically to one of the following: - AIRIO dll not loaded, AIRIO license not activated or AIRIO not enabled (check EX tab, About tab), - Not in an F-14 mission or F-14 module not recognized (check PTT tab). @Birdman81 Can't reproduce. Check if your mic (headset) icon in VA shows an inhibit sign when speaking with PTT pressed. @Matchstick Sounds good thanks for the update.
  6. From the log it appears you may be releasing the PTT key too soon. Hold until the command is fully executed.
  7. @Ghost Dad Yes the commands should be under Extension packs cat in the VA profile. Try speaking the commands in one go without interruption, e.g. "TACAN Tune X-Ray One Two Zero", "Radio Tune Zero Eight Four Decimal Five Zero", etc. @Birdman81 This is actually normal behavior. The open mic is for the ICS i.e. for your RIO only. For radio transmissions you need to use the PTT buttons.
  8. @SGT Coyle No worries mate @AbortedMan No worries mate :-) @NEO Yes as per PM your report seems somehow related to Windows 7 and very specific. Network ports will not be the best place to explore, PM sent with alternative. Note: Plugin support for Win 7/8 will be expiring. @Matchstick Interesting, never seen that one before. Suggest to try reset you keywords database with the Reset tab and carefully inspect all your VA options such as Unrecognized Speech Delay etcetera. @Birdman81 Yes for the F-14 if you have the AIRIO module installed and all your versions are up to date including VA. @emc The Garmin can do some weird stuff with radio devices and is not on the compatibility list. That said, it actually does work most of the time. First disable Garmin and make sure VAICOM PRO works OK. Then enable the Garmin and if everything seems to work, great. Just remember at the slightest sign of trouble that it's not compatible.
  9. @Marcel Probably, yes. It will be looked into. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  10. The virtual keysends by TARGET for PTT must be of the press-and-hold variety, you may want to look into that. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  11. -Update VA to current version 1.7.5 -Possibly you need to set your Windows desktop theme back to default.
  12. @Fisherman82 OK not heard before. We'll have a look. EDIT: Cannot be reproduced, looks like your wingman was simply also on the JTAC channel. @Akka Ripple qty is related to an unpublished change by HB in last DCS update. On the list. @Sailor_ Follow the FINISH steps to import the keywords (see user manual). @gonvise Translation compatibility for the new commands is not yet implemented. Planned for next update. @Kazius Incompatible with other modules, unclear to what you are referring. All plugin compatible apps work and are listed on the website. Use latest versions. Sounds like you need to inpect DCS options and make sure your keybinds are properly cleared (user manual page 10). Also review whether your TX setup is correct and e.g. TARGET is not sending inadvertent menu commands. For the F14 check your DCS options Special/Menu is set at Default. Grtz
  13. @sc_neo Quite a journey there. You're on Windows 7, seems likely specific to that. Do you have apps on your PC/router that could be altering default network settings such as MTU / packet size / host ports / NAT. Anything to see in dcs.log, also can you verify your plugin Preference settings e.g. Import F10 Menu. Let's follow up on PM. @SGT Coyle Recommended to daisy-chain your VA profile to the VAICOM PRO master profile Using the Search Thread function you'll find some leads here on where to look for more details. @Akka Suggest to uncheck the Require Engage Cue setting in Preferences. @Voyager What @Harker says.
  14. Make sure your VoiceAttack is up to date, version 1.7.5. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  15. You need to be in an F-14 mission. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  16. @Demon Good to hear, appreciated! @Klange Suggest to try again after updating to 2.5.10/2.5.2. @gonvise Yes a regular ob install would have .openbeta suffix but deselecting ob will target without suffix. @Chopper Cool, thanks for the feedback. No need to involve the clunky Arcade Wheel for commands reference, there are much better ways. There are some great kneeboards out there to assist with the initial learning curve for keywords, e.g. check out this one by @SpeedyE420 http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3304381 Also for AIRIO there are many (show options) root commands that provide additional dynamic on-screen help, suggested to train these first. For installed version numbers you can check them in DCS: go to Options/Special/VAICOM PRO.
  17. +++ AIRIO update 2.5.2 +++ AIRIO Dialog extension release 2.5.2 adds even more depth to the F-14 experience by adding various new options. Jester will now perform: - Manual frequency tuning for AN/ARC-182, - Manual frequency tuning for TACAN, - Manual frequency tuning for Datalink. The plugin is updated to 2.5.10 to host the new AIRIO version. Existing users update automatically. IMPORTANT: Additional steps are required! Consult User Manual page 37 for details. Happy flying :pilotfly:
  18. @CrossWiseRanger You could try easy comms and various other settings on vs. off to see if it makes a difference. Check also if it is only for the UH-1H and/or only specific mission(s). @Oesau That was fixed quite a while back already. Those symptoms don't appear to be related to VAICOM PRO.
  19. @SGT Coyle Cool have fun mate @Brennus There are no updates for AIRIO or Chatter at this time so the auto-updater will not attempt to install them. In DCS Options/Special/VAICOMPRO you can check if dll versions are current (2.5.1 and 2.5.2 respectively).
  20. @SGT Coyle You can have any unit repeat their last message using the Repeat / Say Again voice command.
  21. @Jason44 All sliders at 50% is indeed the recommend setting. Depending whether you are using the audio Redirect function you may need to inspect the Windows audio mixer and / or your audio driver setting to change the overall audio balance. In VR there's also the HMD audio settings to consider, such as desktop audio mirroring. DCS options includes a setting to use VR device audio, you may want to check that one also. @Highwayman-Ed The system can deal with multiple tankers at the same time. Make sure to leave the short pause between the recipient name and command e.g. "Shell,... Select", and confirm that appropriate settings are enabled i.e. Instant Select (for easy comms on) and/or Select Tunes Radio (easy comms off). @Kazius See above (and manual page 15). You may want to run a DCS repair for those glitches. There have been some code changes by HB in latest DCS ob build, there will be a patch update for that.
  22. @GhostDad Cool appreciate the feedback. Yes feature requests are noted and several are under consideration for future updates. Some are more technically complex to implement than others. @gonvise Thanks, we'll review. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  23. @Gunfighter6 You should be ok with higher versions just make sure .NET 4.5.2 libs are included @Onslawt It's just the default (female) voice for Crystal Palace at this time @huppel It's not the official function but should work ok to toggle suspend @steve That sounds like a question for SRS team perhaps @jozeff VAICOM PRO plugin uses a single unified profile for all DCS aircraft (including the UH-1H) @grammaton_feather Apply the same email address used for purchase and confirm there are no typos @CrossWiseRanger Works fine here during testing but maybe others have similar findings. Perhaps dcs.log tells you something @Cornelius The amount of attention for this product has exceeded all expectations tbh and admittedly this thread has become pretty hefty. The idea of a sub-forum is interesting but I cannot initiate this myself, would require consent and action from the forum admins.
  24. To be clear the plugin was extensively tested to work with both SP and MP and with and without AIRIO extension. This is in conjunction with SSA, TacView, and SRS all latest versions. If you are experiencing broad issues they will be specific to your system setup and you need to methodically follow the basics as per the install notes in the manual, the FAQ page on the website and the various notes in this thread. Uninstalling/re-installing/uninstalling etc. is generally counter-productive. In an attempt to recap the main checkpoints: The basics - You must run Windows 10 and if on Win7 make sure to have .NET 4.5.2 properly installed - Your Windows UAC account and antivirus/firewall must allow unrestricted files and folders access, - VA must be 1.7.5 stable and VA must be running as admin, - VAICOM PRO plugin version must be 2.5.9.10, - AIRIO must be 2.5.1, - If you have the Garmin disable it, - Your TX configuration (VA profile) must be correct for use with your PTT devices, - If you have have AIRIO you must apply the FINSIH steps to import the keywords, taking note of the well-known attention points such as command consolidation and the VA blank field bug, - For the F-14 set the Radio Menu setting (DCS option Special tab) to Default. To troubleshoot - Run a DCS repair, - Refer to the 2 mins install fix (first post), - For not having (comms) audio inspect the Audio Redirect setting and/or your audio driver, - Use the Custom DCS path to point to your DCS World folder, - If you run third party apps, test with disabling them (e.g. disable entries in export.lua), - DCS.log can provide further clues. Hope this will be helpful. Grtz Hollywood
  25. Hi guys - couple of notes - If you have a snag after update first confirm you have been auto-updated to latest build 2.5.9.10 if not get it from the website and do a manual replacement of VAICOMPRO.dll http://www.vaicompro.com/downloads.html Look here in case of potential conflicts with other apps - The SRS mapping feature aligns the radio slot (TX) assignments so that they are the same in VAICOM PRO as in SRS. This way you can more easily set up a universal PTT config that works for both tools in parallel. - AIRIO and the menu wheel are mutually exclusive for technical reasons. The AIRIO extension provides dynamic on-screen feedback using the hint functions and kneeboards are available to familiarize with the keywords while learning to use. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3871629&postcount=2203 - Hot Mic functionality is only available with AIRIO for the F-14 ICS. However if desired if you apply some creative modding of your VA profile you may be able to get more open mic functionality in there :joystick: - The plugin is tested to work with both SP and MP. With MP there's always the possibility of a specific (e.g. scripted) server not working. At the very least the MP server must have the Player Export setting enabled. - In case of unexpected audio behaviour make sure to inspect the plugin Audio Redirect setting first. Sonic Studio and some similar apps are known to mess things up with audio routing in some situations. If you have no issues then fine, but else try uninstall via Windows app manager.
