@jameslockridge The plugin install is linked to MS Windows so a fresh install will be best. @Jedra That's good to hear, appreciate the update. @PeneCruz Awesome, the community at its best! Thumbs up mate
-
The command must be added to your profile, follow the instructions on manual page 36/37.

@Ryeman Tuesday (October 1st).

The good people at Grim Reapers channel did a vid the other day on VoiceAttack with DCS, check it out here: Grtz

Somebody PM this guy!

@Ghost Dad Recon Hey thanks mate, that's good to hear. Suggest to add specific keywords like tune, decimal and zero to your Windows speech dictionary. You can also edit the command and change 'radio tune' into something else if you want. @Akrescue130 Yes once the feature has propagated to DCS release version. @Mimes I'm afraid the old 2.0 version is no longer available, it's just the 2.5 plugin from now on. If you fly older DCS versions you should be able to manage fine using the plugins Custom Path option. Feel free to PM if you need help with that. @GazAce No short-term plans but may be updated somewhat further down the road. @Colmillo Certainly :D But in fact with the Auto Import Module option you should be able to use the Viper straight away i.e. without update.
-
@Jedra Ran a check on the Mi-8 for radio recipient tuning and it works ok (both Easy Comms On and Off): for ATC use the Jadro-1A radio. Grtz

@GazAce Good to hear you enjoy the product mate. I like the idea of the external view thing, making a note here to see if something can be done with it. @Ares63 Well it's not a known issue. Menu position is not relevant, the plugin doesn't use the menu system. Some questions: -Is Instant Select option on or off (try both), -Did you call 'Shell,.. Select' first, -Which module are you flying, -Do you get the same with other modules, -Is the effect repeatable across others (SP/MP) missions, -Do you get the same when using Easy Comms ON? Thanks
-
@RogueSqdn Sure, that should work. Equally for complex custom configs you could involve the plugins exposed variables. @Badass1982 That feature is exclusively for F-14 i.e. AIRIO. @Jedra Not a known issue, we'll have a look. @mcgen Should work out of the box if you enable the Auto Import Modules option. @Ares63 You can contact any tanker in the mission. They must have unique callsigns e.g. 'Shell', 'Arco'. Use the Select command. @Siddharta What @Greyman says, the manual tuning command is for F-14 Jester i.e. AIRIO. With other modules use the Select command to tune radios.
-
Make sure to use the correct syntax e.g. 'TACAN Tune X-Ray Zero Seven Four' (note the zero). See manual page 38.
-
Yeah that does seem the way to go. Good luck and let me know how it goes. Sure, just use the Select voice command. So 'Arco,.. Select' or 'Shell,...Select'.
-
Thanks for sharing the log. It states a script is missing a particular 'Callname 1' input parameter. This appears very specific to J-11 and not seen in other modules i.e. problem seems to originate in the module code. The plugin does not use this parameter but, since the script halts, the voice command cannot complete. Suggested to contact the module developers for a fix. What you can try as workaround in the plugin is switch off these prefs: Force NATO ATC names / callsigns. May have some effect so worth a try. Grtz

Hi, In your Windows Control Panel make sure speech recognition uses the correct mic device. Grtz
-
@jameslockridge You may want to inspect your DCS config for keybinds (Manual page 10), als re-check your TX press/release config in the VA profile. Make sure no background apps or 3rd party entries interfere in export.lua. Run a DCS repair if needed. @flyingflatfour As above. In addition suggest a couple of checks: - fly another module and see if it's the same there, - test without any specific Warthog profiles i.e. with plain DX buttons (press-and-hold variety) or standard keyboard keys.
-
@gpbarth In the EX tab, first enable and then disable AIRIO. Next restart VA end then launch DCS. Wheel should be there as normal. If not for some reason run a DCS Repair. Hope it helps, grtz EDIT P.S. if you have recognition issues with AIRIO suggest to run the keywords training en re-inspect mic/driver settings. Also tweaking Command Weight in VA options can make a significant difference, e.g. try with setting higher than 90.
-
@GIJoe Run a DCS Repair before restarting VA and DCS.
-
Also what sometimes happens when updating VA is that it no longer runs as admin. You may see this on startup 'VoiceAttack privileges not elevated.' Just in case inspect your VA shortcut / properties / Compatibility tab / all users / and check 'run this program as an administrator'.
-
@dawgie Try with what @Greyman says, for a hard reset you could delete the Database subfolder and restart. @jason Thanks dude, if you get stuck update messages best to grab the latest dll files from the website and replace them manually. Regarding the comms audio routing that can get a bit involved with stuff like VoiceMeter in between, may take some additional testing. You can e.g. try with routing Redirect to (Default) and then change your Windows default audio device.
-
Thanks guys, some stuff in random order: @capthaltli TX tab, Auto Brief setting @D3adCy11nd3r Check your log and if it's a recognition issue try adding phrase 'Radio Tune' to Windows speech dictionary manually. @Rymy Both you and the Recognition Engine improve with more training. @Halcyon ad 1) The plugin doesn't set the coordinates directly so this appears more like a problem inside the F-14 module itself. Can you test the same scenario with the menu wheel. Ad 2) Make sure to use correct command phrasing i.e. 'Rockeyes' for Mk-20s. Ad 3) To tune Stennis say 'Stennis,.. Select' (have Select Tunes Radio setting on). @Weegie Thanks no worries mate. @kaltokri Not reproducible, Air Supply commands working fine here during testing. PErhaps check if it's mission specific @hornblower793 Indeed, holiday :) Thanks @Greyman The new carrier commands are WIP, they will be an extension that can be activated (EX tab already has dummy tickbox). It will work directly i.e. not involving any F10 menu import. @Shepherd Cause not clear. Make sure commands are consolidated and field is cleared (Ctrl-A, Delete) before Ctrl-V Paste. @tmansteve That mod is not in the supported modules list. In any case the plugin doesn't send keystrokes (like F2 for external view) at all. @johand @EvoMayhem Check/toggle Redirect status in Audio tab. @Darkmage 'Switch' is not a command, use 'Select' instead. With easy comms off optionally enable the Select Tunes Radio setting. Hope it helps, grtz :joystick:

Hi all Back online after summer break - will check on latest updates and get back to some of your questions, either here or via PM. Cheers Hollywood
-
@FreightDog Unless you re-installed Windows nothing has happened to your speech training data. Make sure the selected Speech Recognition Engine (US/UK) is the same one you trained. Most likely you need to re-evaluate your mic levels and audio driver / routing settings.
-
Hey guys Some notes: @Bazmack Stennis is contacted like a regular ATC. The new carrier comms are not yet implemented by ED. @Schlapperklange For adding the the AIRIO commands press Export on the config tab. @Uisce Thanks we'll run a check with MP to see if it's somehow reproducible. @megger35 Disable the NS430 ind DCS config. @Chams Enable plugin support. @Uisce Instead of "Engage my target with bombs" try use e.g. "Engage ground target with bombs" or "Engage infantry with bombs". Apply the pause between recipient and command e.g. "Three,... attack artillery with GBUs." @DracoLlasa Yes AIRIO is a separate license. Grtz Hollywood

@emc That's a good one we'll get it corrected cheers.

@jmarso PM sent. EDIT: Patch rolled out via auto-update. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

@Kazius Use the Select command to switch to Kobuleti ATC. You can invoke the Instant Select option for Easy Comms ON and Select Tunes Radio option for Easy Comms OFF. Manual page 17. @jmarso That's interesting, thanks for the research. Appreciate if you can send me a PM with a link to that mission.
