Hi, recently, I found a Dutch company selling kits to integrate the winwing MIP system into a replica front cockpit panel. I did not bookmark them and despite trying lots of searches, can’t find them …….they something about VR or virtual reality in the name……. Can anyone help? Thanks!

OK, so can I assume its now properly installed? I am at the stage where I have a folder called "WhisperAttack v0.4 beta" but I cant see a folder anywhere called "whisperattack server command" which I am supposed to put in voice attack apps folder...... I have a folder called voiceattack plug in, in my WhisperAttack v0.4 beta folder.....which has a "voiceattack server command .dll" in it.......but I am not seeing what is described in the instructions......sorry!

Hey Chuck, first, a massive thanks for these invaluable resources you produce!! I wondered, I use them most on my ipad and I know there are direct links to the main sections, but how easy would it be to direct link the sub sections? Its a helluva lot of scrolling to find pages inbetween the main sections..... Cheers!

Some help with SLAM mod manager?

Hi, tried setting this up yesterday, and while it appeared to be installed and working fine, DCS would not start. I ended up not using. However, i would like to get it working correctly, where is the best place to get some help working out the issue? Can see a forum thread, just the user files ....... Thanks -

Does anyone know which of these mods ( He has made several, inc better smoke etc and reduced size core liveries etc) still work with latest version of DCS? I messaged Taz asking the same, but he did not reply.....

Carrier IFLOLS overbright…..and overlay query

Just trying to provide some useful feedback from an end user………and btw, that’s not just me saying it, everyone in our squad says the same its only useful as a meatball if you can also see the datum’s. I will rely on the overlay for now then, thanks -
I know it seems picky after it’s just been brightened, but if you are not using the overlay, the new meatball is so bright, you can’t see the datum’s, so it’s not easy to use as purpose, especially in VR……Would it be easy to make it editable for brightness level? A slider perhaps? Or accessible .lua edit? I will tack another one here as it’s kinda related….in VR, is it possible to move the overlay position and / or adjust its brightness for night flying?

OK, so I have tried the suggestions made above. The problem still remains that often ( not always) no matter which button I press etc, it will take a few seconds at least for teh mouse cursor to appear. I would like to understand why this is and why the cursor dissappears in the first place. Is the time out editable anywhere? I would be very happy for it to never dissappear.....

Having a senior moment here, where are these commands located? Which drop down? Can see mouse axis bound in axis commands but cant find the buttons

Whenever I need to use the mouse in VR, why does it take a few seconds of moving the mouse around before the green cross finally appears somewhere on the screen? And is there anyway to get around this? Makes it very tricky doing stuff using the mouse in VR if you are flying in formation……which happens a LOT in multiplayer

When it dropped, all was good, been enjoying the new version for several weeks now...... Flew it for the first time in a few weeks yesterday and perfromance is a literal slideshow........whats going onb? no problem with other modules

On speed around the turn carrier landing

Thanks, to clarify, the mission critique said I was fast (below on speed) but I was also faster than the 140 knots downwind speed round the turn as to maintain rate of descent, I had to fly faster. So I should concentrate more on the AoA, do you guys trim to do this around the turn? I have been getting it bang on on the downwind, then not touching the trim again and controlling it with small amounts of stick and throttle -
I noticed tonight flying Banklers mission that I was marked down for being fast as I turned from abeam. I was perfectly trimmed for on speed on the downwind, but in the turn, your speed increases and it’s almost impossible to keep on speed and maintain the correct parameters of descent rate, AOB and position. As you roll out on the groove and come back to around 140kts, it’s all good. I was wondering if you should trim for on speed around the turn, ( have not tried doing this, but would anticipate it would make it difficult to be correctly trimmed on roll out for the groove, as time would be limited ) rather than just accept you will not be on speed round the turn. Surely it’s the groove that matters, not the turn to it?

Destroy static script issue

Thanks, I will take a look over the next few days, been busy with family stuff over the weekend, and this week am working, so it may be a few days..... I have to say, my knowledge of scripting is extremely basic, I copied the destroy static one from somewhere else, so dont really feel qualified to comment on your suggestions! I did approach it from another direction, which was to split the scripts at the point where it stopped (IE which object on the list was still there. That seemed to work on the one for the statics in front of the Island, but no idea why that was so. Thank you very much for looking into it with me, very helpful!
