  1. check your email, originally just one.
  2. just go get the original nomera.tga file thats it. either by reinstallation or asking other people to send it to you.
  3. I think even in lock on you cant really jettison weapon under those circumstances, especially the diving and rolling part.:smilewink:
  4. how do pilots do jettison fuel tanks or missiles during flight? in game, we do jettison fuel tanks when we know we are heading into a hostile environment and ready for some serious maneuvers. but in real life, do the pilots do the same? i mean is there any regulations or the pilots just drop whenever they wanted to bc the fate of the jet has way more value than anything that could destroyed by the dropped fuel tanks, or any jettisoned weapons. i was wondering what are the effects of the dropped fuel tanks if the pilots just do whenever they felt like it bc it would be pretty awesome to see a fuel tank fall off the sky while walking down the street someday  just wondering :smilewink: ps: also it would be cool that in lofc dropped weapons would have bomb liked effects instead of just magically swallowed by the ground
  5. okay, problem solved! since uninstall/reinstall couldnt solve the problem, and i was too lazy to do a full lofc reinstall, so i just manually edited the meinit file with data copied from correct portions of the old meinit file. now everything looks fine, weapons and fuel tanks are in place under the wings, and the missiles under the fuselage are alined. thank you guys for all the supports!
  6. ok, i sorta figured it out, when i uninstall the f-15 addon, it seems like the weapons under my wings are moving to the opposite direction of the f-15 with the addon installed, so i copied that meinit file and then reinstall the f-15 addon and replace the new meinit with the old meinit, then everything is in place. however, bc its the old meinit file, then the aim's under the fuselage arent alined :( i guess i just have to mess around with the meinit file.
  7. i did install/extract everything into correspounding folders, but still no use :(
  8. thank you rattler, your solution solved the missing texture problem. however, there's another problem, my tanks and sidewinders are in the mid air. i remember have seen somebody had the same issue but right now just cant find it in the 90 pages thread. can anybody give me a quick reference to solve the hang in mid air ordinances problem? i know i can edit the meint file to fix the position, but is there a quicker and convenient way to fix this problem? thx a million!
  9. i have been leave lofc for about a year now and just got back to it. i went over 90 pages of the f-15 release thread, but still couldnt figure out how to solve the problem with the albino pilot issue and the missing texture on the rear inner part of the engine just like some of the people here had. and i downloaded the meint from walmis, and did numerous uninstall/reinstall the addon, i installed everything from walmis's sig, still cant solve the problem with these issues. also when i tried to run the updater, it said unknown connection error. i saw that thread has been dead for 2 weeks now, so i decided to start a new one to have some quick helps for the problem. plz help and thank you very much!
  10. this is a very old trick, i don't even remember it if you don't mention it. tried it long time ago, seemed like a placebo effect for me. BTW, are you using LOFC 1.12a?
  11. is the payload change thingy in game just for the heli or all flyable airplanes?
  12. your movies always kick ass, i love your image and sound special effects, the tone and colors, and the settings and agle of your footage, very professionally done.
  13. did you start off at that alt or you climb to 60000 feet? i can do over 60000 feet but that's like very max and i'm around 200 knots true speed and i'm like in a 20 something degree angle. how can you do supersonic at that alt? however one thing i did b4 in 1.02(haven't tried it in 1.12a) is that i setup my f15 at very very high and have my speed over 1000 knots, then the f15 did not slow down at that alt and speed even i did level fight, it seems like going out of the reach of the gravity.
  14. if you like to hang the f-16 ordinances, why not just use LOPE, you can hang all kinds of payloads on the mig29 by using that.
  15. just forget the easy radar, you will never learn the game by using that. it doesn't matter you are a beginner or not, lots of people including me didn't even touch the easy radar since the first day we played the game, and trust me, it's not hard to learn the radar either, and plus it's a lot more realistic and fun this way.
  16. mid and low alt, aim120 and aim7 around 10-15nm, high, around 20-25nm. you will also notice, aim7 is shorter at mid and low than aim120, but the aim7 has higher increasing rate of range increasement with alt increasing than the aim120, therefore aim 7 will have longer range than aim120 after certain alt.
  17. what version do you have? bc the training mission in lofc teaches all the basic you need to fly, some of the tracks you have to back to the original Flaming cliff version in order to play it, after you have learned the stuff, just patch it to 1.12a again. build up your interest first, then you will want to know more and patiently sit down to read your manual. the russian birds lack the auto trim system that the eagles have, therefore during the flight, you will feel them not as smooth as the eagles, you have to manually trim them, constantly.
  18. i only experienced the ecm strobing when enemy aircraft is outside of my burn through range, then he could drop my lock. i don't know how you still can strob ecm to drop a lock when you are inside of my burn through range as you describe that you can visually spot the aircraft? i thought after burn through, the ecm is rather useless.
  19. don't know if it's a cd version? i know the download version you can download multiple times, it's only the number of activations is limited.
  20. also fire the 120's in TWS mode. 2-3 120's per kill is the average, and almost all of them are under 10nm.
  21. even though i have no idea, but i rather trust myself than machine. plus sometimes the computer might be malfuctioning, so the pilots still need the skill to land by themselves, and the skill comes from the daily practice. this just how i feel, 100% my opinion, so don't take my words. but one thing i do know, the pilots are being scored on every landing they have performed, so i'm sure that they dont let the auto pilot do the thing. and carrier landing is a big portion of the entire pilot evaluation record.
  22. depend on how you set it, but the default key is alt+W, it's in the combat input option called LAUNCH PERMISSION OVERRIDE.
  23. one easy way to solve the problem is just simply put f15 on one side and su's and mig's on the other side. on the f15 side, you can add a su27 to balance the game, or just put f15, su27, a10 vs. su33, mig 29 and su25 series. this makes it much easier. plus in real life, it's very rear to see f15 up agaisnt another f15. just do it like the 169 server. problem solved.
  24. calm down body!;) i think some people do that either didn't know you were talking to them or they just want to kill you deliberately, there are couple bloody pilots out there, but they will be ban soon as the server spots them out. maybe sometimes people just like to mess around with newbees, just try to give them a hard time after they got their friendly kills. so those are some of responses for you.
