Complete Transport and Logistics Deployment - CTLD
ikaro replied to Ciribob's topic in Scripting Tips, Tricks & Issues
Hi Ciribob, I have a question about to use the IA with this script... How can we do so that 10 infants who reach a point in the platform at airbase (pick up zone?), are loaded on a transport helicopter IA ?. I can not get them on the helicopter, should be distrustful of the pilot :D -
I agree.... I would also like to change the default view in both cockpits. I read something about using the SnapsViews, but I'm not sure it works well. Someone can help us. :helpsmilie: Thnx

Thanks. Let´s hope so.

Is there anyone in the Beta-tester team use the software HELIOS (or OpenHelios) along with the new DCSW-V2 version? I wonder if this type of software is functional with the new graphics engine (Egde). Thanks.

:noexpression:

The Persian Gulf??? ummmmhhh.... Very interesting!!! :smilewink:

I think HELIOS can works with FC3. You just have to create the appropriate profile. Currently are profiles even for the Huey, so I guess it will be a matter of working at it. I'd like that ED´s developers, would work to develop a tool that builders home-cockpits, they facilitate the export of panels and instruments, especially, to not depend of outside software and possible incompatibilities.

For a few flights on Multiplayer, and with the actual version 1.2.8, we have suffered a significant loss of frames, even with powerful computers. When the P-51 shoot machine guns and ballistics calculations, rebounds ammunition against the ground, and falling cartridges or shells are represented, the frames down to minimum levels, which makes it virtually impossible to fly. You can test-it with a ground attack mission, with more than 2 planes and shooting columns of ground vehicles. :noexpression:

De lujo.

Abnaxus, Capt Zeen.... Saludos.

Copy. Great displays. Thanks.

A doubt: The shows of the Virtual Patriot and Red Arrows teams, were made with the beta models Albatros and Hawk? :clap_2:

Seil, What are the files (folder route, please) that you modified??... The shame happens to me. When I'm in the cockpit with TrackIR active, the default view is right in front of the HUD, very close, so that practically all the HUD takes up the entire screen. If I turn off the TrackIR, and entered again in cockpit, my default view is right, furthest from the HUD and all the center console visible in the screen. I´d like the default view of Su25t was correct, like the KA50, like the A10c, or the Huey ... I really need help... :helpsmilie:

Thanks Teo, In the real radio set, i´dont know if we can store the channels directly in the cabin, or if it must be done previously by cartridges. Ok, the solution to edit the "lua" file, helps us for what we want.

I´ve read in the manual, the UHF radio set has 20 preset channels in UHF. Does anyone know what those channels? Or anyone knows can edit and change at will? Thanks.

WIP DCS A-10C and Teamspeak 3 Integration
ikaro replied to Headspace's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Which modules have you tried it? For a test of two people in the same module, it is not very representative, right? In our squad, we will try to testit using all available modules (A10, Ka50, FC3 & CA) and several players. Ideally, would it work well with all modules and we pray for it. We believe that TARS is a fundamental tool in DCSW environment, and its use allows a degree of immersion and realism awesome. We pray for its full functionality. -
Sometime ago... I read in any forum, that it could be done editing some .lua file... I don´t know what it is, and if is the same file in DCSW. But I´ll keep looking for.

Hello again, I've tested the function "Prepare Mission" and as I supposed, this mode/funtion don´t helps me to do what I want. Maybe I have done something wrong, but following the manual instructions, I created a mission, and after selecting "prepare mission" I entered at cockpit for a cold start, and after changing the positions of some switches (inverter, brake rotor, start engines selector...), I left the mission and I recorded the changes, using the "Save" button. Once done, I re-entered in the mission and when I was in the cockpit, the switches was in its default configuration for a cold start. In summary, I think that after testing the "Triggers cockpit" and testing the"Prepare Mission", I can not do what I want ussing the mission editor. :( Anyway... I´ll keep on studying how to get it.
-
After what I read in the manual, I think the "Prepare Mission" mode only works on some aircraft systems ... like Abris, ADF freq channel, nav data, etc ... I don´t know if the switches can do something. Today I will make a test. I would give you an example of what I do. We entered in the Ka50 cockpit, and prepare for a cold start. We take our "Checklist" and stars a visually check that each switch is in its "normal" position. But to create the training mission, I put the switch "Inverter AC / DC" on "OFF", and if the pilot is not aware or do not check this... may have problems starting and operating the helicopter.
-
Thanks, but.... The "Prepare Mission" funtion it´s not good for what i want to do.... in the PM mode, you can configure some avionics settings not the position switches. :( My English is very basic and maybe I haven´t explained well. What I try to do is have a certain switch in a different position at the start of the mission. The idea or intention, is forcing or training the cadets to properly use of the checklists... especially in the sections on visual checks. :helpsmilie:

Hi comrades. First, sorry if it has been asked before for this issue... i´ve been looking for this information in the forum and have no found anything. I would like to know how you can change the position of the cockpit switches, so that when you start a mission does not go in its usual configuration. What is the easiest and most effective way to get it? I've been reading the chapter of the Mission Editor at DCS User Manual, and I have not been clear whether it could be done by "cockpit triggers" or must be done by "scripts". Any help would be appreciated. :surrender:
