Hey guys, thank you for all informations in this thread! I've a little question about those light sources dummies, how we are suppose to set them?They are just changing cause of the name or they have special attribute? Did they have an impact on the light diffusion in the game? I've note since the last version of DCS, i've some strange light reflection on my model. In some model, i've see some red dummies? Really Nice Job! But i've a question, maybe you can help me out, i try to remove the HUD. I'm working on a aircraft for dcs and the cockpit doesnt' have a hud, but i can't remove it, if you have any solution. It will help me a lot Regards Tango

Hello guys, i'll introduce myself very quickly. My name is Sidney, i'm 22 and live in Switzerland. I'm flying ED products since 7 years now and i'm a part of the virtual patrouille suisse. I'm post here because we actually searching a new pilot for our team. One of the actual pilot doesn't have enough time to fly with us and he'll retire to fly as spare/backup pilot. We flying every Tuesday and Thursday from 20h15 to 22h00. We are looking for someone with experience if possible. In the team we are able to speak different language : German, English, Spanish, French. it would be great if we can found someone from switzerland or close to. Hey Cobra847, thank you for your explanation, i'll try to play with RGB into photoshop. I've read the -Rudel- thread about spec mapping. So correct me if i'm wrong, i need to set my spec in max in Spec level = 100, for my texture Material Attributes i set "mirror" and i play with RGB into max, hope i've all understand :) Regards.

Hello guys, i think i need your help for some bugs i've with my current model. I've asking some of my friend about the specular map settings but i need more explanation. You can see in the attachments the picture "1" is my current reflection into DCS. It's very reflective a bit like a mirror and it's too much for me maybe my specular map is wrong? The picture "2" is the same plane same parameter but with a different angle of view, and from this point of view the reflection look just fine for me. I've read a lot on this forum about the creation of the specular map and i think it's correct but i've not found how to set that in max so, the picture "3" is my settings for the specular map in 3Ds max. It's the only way i've found to have reflection in the game. Correct me if my settings are wrong. And the last question is, i'm working on my bano light(nav light, collision light) but i don't want to have this kind of light halo around my light glass. It's possible to assign directly the bano material to my nav light glass and when the light is off my light have a kind of darker green and when the light is on it's more shiny like the actual DCS light? Just spotted this bug during a flight, i've ask a friend if he have the same bug and the reply was yes. Just a texture bug, the object position is normal :D Best Regards
