Okay, maybe its due I am not such a crack on flying the A-10. On the old sims, if you were not right to the runway while landing you could "shift" the whole aircraft in position with the rudders .. this kind of shifting was not really realistic but it worked ... Cheers

BTW ... there is really no need for rudder in my opinion. I use it only on start to steer the aircraft on the runway. Once in the air there is no really need for pedals. I remember in the old days in flight sims, you could use them to slide the aircraft the last mile into position for landing, this will not work in a real simulation like A-10 ;) I habe a controllercard for my panels, it is 2 fully equipped joysticks. I have no problem to use it with TM Warthog HOTAS an Saitec rudders, TrackIR and TFS3 and many more USB gimmicks. Only on the first installations A-10 means to give several functions to dhe devices, delete them .. thats it.

You can clear all functions from the second joystick , expect rudders, out ... thats it.

You will need a "plotter" ... its kind of a large printer, often found in copyshops or also online. For a normal printer, ist too large ... or you have to look for a software tool to print it out on normal sized paper and glue ot. I ordered my plans online, was around 16 EURO incl. shipping and arrived after 2 days. Cheers Tom

:smilewink: Mhhh .. than you have it in true intellivibe, but as earlier stated the TFS3 works better with lua export than with true ivibe ..... So what to do to use it with HELIOS and export.lua ... thats the question .... maybe copy and paste the settings from tfs.lua to regular exports.lua .... Just my 5 cent ...

Great !! So please let us know what you did to activate this ! Did you try to bind the exports.lua with HELIOS in A-10 ? As I understand it should be possible to run several exports and each proramm will take "its" part of flowing informations to use. So, do you prefer the lua-way ?!! Nice info !

I was in contact with PoleCat chatting about the TFS3. Yrs, there are some lecks .... f.eks. the gatling is not "feelable", also gear up and down is not so effective yet with the standart profile for true intellivibe. Flying a roll is beautifull to feel the roll from one side moving to the other. PoleCat told me, that using the lua with export is much more useable but also much more work to setup. I did not get it to work so far within export.lua but will look if my TFS3 works again. On soundinput is one very bad thing ... if you contact the tower and got an answer the seat starts working due the voice. Not so good. So keep on trying and let us know. I will try my system tonight on a other computer, maybe just a connectionproblem. Cheers Tom

I use Helios and TSF3 ..... you have to edit your config.lua as stated earlier in this thread. No problem using both systems side by side. IF you want to work via lua-files you have to bind the lua-file under helios in the setup of your device "A-10" ... give the path to the lua and helios will add a line to your config, same way as TARS uses .... I have right now the problem that my TFS3 is not recogniized by win7 again, I have had the same on my first startup. Contacted Craig and got an answer very soon with the offer to get a new TFS USB-module but I will first try different usb-cables. Its strange, might to be in conjunction with all my audio setup and many many usb devices ....

STOP !!!! You missunderstand or I did not declare correctly: FOR SURE ... i stop the pc using the shutdown function !! BUT if I after shutdown disconnect the powercord win7 will start with errors and try to fix its system !! And this is not normal !!

I have a pc only for my SimPit. The powerline for all the equipment has a switch. If I shut down all components via this switch and restart the pc, windows tries to repair itself. If I just switch the pc out, the start is normal without any problems. If I disconnect the power, windows starts again and tries to fix itself. Any idea what is happening here ? My pc specs are in my footer. I guess the SSD has a problem becoming disconnected from the powerline.

I am really looking forward that you guys got the TFS3 soon !!! First that you can share this really nice experience, second that there might be some more people involved in TFS3 ! I set up mine but with the profile for A-10 I am not really happy. I changed it a little but all forces are not "hard enough" for me. In flight a set it up calm and soft. For the speedbreaks and landing gear I set it to maximum, but with no effort. I am also missing a conenction to the gun. On gunfire nothing happens .. the seat is not moving one inch ... I am sure if a A-10 pilot blasts the gatling the plane will shake. On rolls I can see in the graph bar that something happens with the seat , but cant really feel it. Maybe my butt-o-meter is not sensible enough :) The ivibe forums are a pain in the ass. Old threads .... I signed up and wait for some days to get able to write ... but it seems that there takes nobody really care about the forums. So, I am looking forwar that the TFS community will grow up iin this forums and I find some solutions for this real nice gimmick !! BTW: I use it as intellivibe, not over the exports. Maybe I should try the way over exports ?! Cheers Tom

Thanks I have now the Fuel-Panel working expect the poti for the Refuelling Lighning Dial. Any idea how to get it to work ? Looks great so far .... input is now mouse, keyboard, helios touchscreen and my first panel :lol: Its great to fly the A-10 with hardware switches and the touchscreen ...

Salve vielleicht kann mir hier jemand weiterhelfen. Ich habe mein erstes Panel mit HELIOS in die A-10 eingebunden. Was für ein Krampf bis es lief ..... Nun fehlt mir an meinem Fuel-Panel nur noch das Poti für das RecieverLight. Hatte es soweit, dass es in HELIOS und in der A-10 zumindest mal zuckte, aber fein einstellen lässt es sich nicht. Muss wohl was mit dem Wert des Action- oder Trigger value zu tun haben. Kann mir jemand sagen wie ich das einrichten muss ? Nimmt langsam Formen an .... Gruss Tom

I have only a SSD 120 GB for Sims and win7 installed, with 16 GB RAM ... very fast loading . Bun keep in mind ... SSD sometimes just dies, buy on amazon to get best return service ! Cheers Tom

Me again ... maybe someone would share his configfile for TFS3 ?!

Got mine today from customs and installed it as far as I can. First it was not detected by win7 due to a faulty USB cable. Afterwards it was not connected due fault in the powerline. Edit: Day 2 .... I enabled iVIBE in the config.lua and it works for me. Just a question: The seat works and reacts on turns, up and down but firing the gun, landing gear .. nothing happens. I did not activite the export.lua due intellivibe. Make this sense or must all exports be enabled ? I never saw a led at the bottom of the usb unit ever flash ... normal ?! Cheers Tom

Ähhh ... die MFDs werden doch auf die Monitore exportiert und sind somit "starr und fixiert". Oder habe ich da was Missverstanden ? Auf meinem Touchscreen sind sie auch exportiert und entsprechend statisch.

Great ! Would like top see more from the stick extension. I build mine up with the gardena garden hose system, but it is not very stable, due I use (like you) a normal seat without the cutout it would be intresting how you fixed it .... Cheers Tom

Okay ... sounds usefull ! I use Capt.Loz profile .. great work ! Question for thom who might be involved in Helios: How to bring my (now) working Fuel-Panel to work ? In Helios under the new 2 joysticks B256A13 all switches work now properly and the RecieverLight knob also (!!). What is the most usefull way to bind them ? Directly with A-10-Device or with the Fuel-Panel from the Helios-Profile ?! Will try tonight to bind them and bring the panel to work. The know should control the cockpit illumination, the poti works fine. Thanks again !
