Salve SimFliegerGemeinde Mal eine simple Frage: Welchen Abstand habt ihr zum Monitor ? In meinem kleinen Bastel-SimPit habe ich 80 cm bis 105 cm Abstand zum Monitor. 80 cm geht schon fast auf die Augen (IIjama 27 Zoll TFT) , stelle ich den Monitor an die hintere Kante beträgt der Abstand 105 cm , dann sehe ich aber viel Holz und der Abstand zum Touchscreen raubt irgendwie den Zusammenhang. Ich fliege in hoher Auflösung. Gruss Tom

Salve Zum Funkproblem kann ich leider nix sagen, aber Thema SSD: Du solltest A-10C auf der SSD installieren bzw. installiert lassen. Auf einer SATA Platte kannst du Kaffeepausen einlegen bis gestartet wird. Ich habe mir extra für die A-10 einen rechner aufgebaut mit 16GB RAM und SSD. Die Ladezeiten sind nun absolut okay. Von HDD gestartet habe ich auf meinem alten Rechner (mit 8 GB RAM und älterer CPU 2,44 GhZ) immer eine Krise bekommen. Tip: Kohle horten und Warthog Stick holen .. ultimatives Feeling. Ich bin so verstrahlt und bastel momentan noch Panels dazu. Gruss Tom

Das unterscheidet Kölner und Dresdner wohl von den Leipzigern :) Die Erstgenannten können auch mal über sich selbst lachen :thumbup: Du hast seinen Sonntagmorgen nicht versaut sondern versüßt !! Und ich denke du kannst dich nicht über Hilfe und Geduld des Forums beschweren. Ich habe ja auch noch nicht soviel Plan um helfen zu können, aber die alten hasen hier sind doch sehr sehr sehr Geduldig mit deinen Fragen umgegangen. Tue dies aber von Anfang an mit den Einstellungen "schwer" um es auch direkt richtig zu lernen. Dem Screenshot nach fliegst du mit "leicht" oder "Arcade" , du hast beide MFCDs in der Außenansicht.

Thank you for the file, will check it out on sunday ... but I remember this folder. I have had to change there some files for the helios-setup ... have to watch out not mixing things up. Nice idea to control the avionics directly, that means you are also very familiar with the TrackIR. I would driving nuts and make funniy acrobatics while trying to focus all the elemts and try to touch them. What is Kukys "VeryHigh" settings ? I saw on your screenshots that you have some more options in graphic settings. I tried out various settings with SoftTH, but windowed is the nicest look for me. With SoftTH the bezels in the aircraft were looking very bad. But I will hold it in spare (just renamed the .dll file) to reactivate if the second gui monitor shows up. Thanks again ! Tom

Thank you PeterP .. I understood what you told me about FPS. High FPS is not all , in short. I changed the settings as you told me and will give it a try. As I stated .. I am not so familiar with all this graphics tweeking. Nice to know that you have the same gpu. It was a fair trade performance/price and the ability to connect up to 6 monitors. Hopefully it will not crash again in multiplayer .. I would miss my lessons ;) Its line 373 in the displayfile .. but facsinating your knowledgement about the sim and all its tweaks !! Do you remember a thread about the mainview ? Would like to get rid of all the instruments .. its confusing to have them on HELIOS and on the mainscreen. Hook in ... Hi all I feel so free to hook in this intresting thread. I am running A-10 on a 2 monitor system, one noemal tft and one touchscreen with HELIOS. I figured out that I have only 32 frames while using SoftTH in windowed and fullscreen. Fullscreen also kills my multiplayersessions due to freezing AC-10 on the mainscreen and freezing TrackIR. Without SoftTH I have around 41 frames. Maybe my config is not the best: Monitor SoftTH Maybe someone of you gentlemen would be so kind and have a look on my configurations and might help with comments. :thumbup: I am also looking for a thread about hiding all instruments from my mainscreen due I have them on the HELIOS Profile from LOZ. I love to learn flying the A-10, but it is a pain in the a.. for me to setup all this computerstuff .. however .... Thanks Tom

Beneidenswert, ich beschäftige mich mit der Simulation (Spiel finde ich unzutreffend) seit ein paar Wochen und kann im realistischen Mode gerade mal starten und ab und an sauber landen. Vom Waffeneinsatz bin ich wohl noch weit entfernt. :thumbup: Naja, viel Zeit geht auch fürs Pit und die Panels drauf. CU Tom

Damned ... I spend 2 evenings dealing around with iControl and helios. I have had a RMFD staying always right on top from my mainscreen ( I have 2 screens right now). After houuurs I figured out that this 2 programs will not share a screen, for sure. My problem is, on my new pc with new gpu I have no choive for a virtual monitor, on the old system it worked easylie. My question, is there a solution to run on a 2 monitor system HELIOS for the gauges and iControl side by side ? Thanks Tom

Hi da es hier im deutschen Teil mitunter recht Träge zugeht (viele Menschen die lesen, wenige die Antworten) versuiche ich mich mal: Ich denke einem gemieteten Server ist es egal was du darauf laufen läßt. Miete einen Server mit guter Bandbreite, schalte dich auf und installiere A-10. Ich bin zwar nicht so der Spieleguru, denke aber das dürfte keine Probleme geben. Gruß Tom

Grrr ... I am going mad. I got a new pc for the sim. Set up everything but there is no way to setup a virtual monitor. The mirage driver is propperly installed and working, but Win7 willnot find a second monitor. On my old pc the virtual monitor will notbe able to erase ... on the new pc it will not be found. Very strange ... I tried it also with ZoneScreen .. no success. Maybe due my graphics card supports up to 6 regular monitors it will not attach a virtual one. Any help ?? Thanks Tom

Nachtrag: Ich suche eine druckbare Version aller Panels als Overlay um sie auf Blech zu drucken und das "Gerippe abzudecken. Hat jemand da eine Vorlage für mich ? Gruss Tom

Nachdem ich noch mal ein paar Stunden Ruhe gefunden habe geht es auch langsam weiter. Der neue Rechner samt dem ersten Monitor ist eingetrudelt, A-10 und alle nötigen Programme neu aufgespielt (jetzt in Englisch). Nachdem ich 4 Schreiner angefragt hatte und keiner Bock auf Holzarbeiten hat (die kleben lieber Kunststofffenster ein :cry:) oder sich garnicht mehr melden , habe ich mich selber rangegeben. Ich bin eine ziemliche Null was sowas angeht, bin vom Resultat aber bisher positiv überrascht. Die Sägelinien sind nicht kerzengerade, aber es passt schon. Und mit etwas Gefummel ist der Throttlestick nun auch fest. Das erste Panel passt auch ganz gut noch rein, auch wenn der Alurahmen noch fehlt. Dazu hatte ich Aluprofilblech im Baumarkt gekauft, aber das ist irgendwie nix für mich. Habe heute dann rechteckige Profilrahmen aus 20 mm Alu, auf Gehrung geschnitten mit Verbindern bestellt. Mal gespannt wie die werden. Ein Anschluß der Schalter mit einem IPAC ging voll in die Hose. Stattdessen habe ich nun in Schweden diese Doppel-Joystickplatine bestellt und warte sehnsüchtig darauf. Ein alter 19 Zoller liegt auch schon parat um die Gauges aufzunehmen. Aber Helios will auch bedient werden ... Für das Frontpanel will ich die Tage das Holz holen und mich rangeben. Ich grübel noch wie ich das Pit bauen kann , es aber auch noch für andere sachen nutzen kann , falls mich mal irgendwann die Lust überrennt einen Shooter zu daddeln oder Assassins Creed mal wieder auszupacken. Alles wird gut.

Die iPAD Lösung ist IMHO sehr gut, jedoch wirst du 2 iPAD brauchen für das linke und rechte MFD. Ich schaue auch schon nach nem ollen iPAD1 zur Ergänzung. Das könnte man dann zum Fliegen hinters Pit klemmen und danach wieder rausnehmen und auf die Couch werfen :thumbup:

Okay, here we go. Friday the X2775HDS arrived. Its very nice and I can not see any problems so far. The setting was very bright, so I played a little around with the settings and now it looks pretty nice with A-10. Will buy 2 more from this within the next month. Thanks for the help. Cheers Tom

Same to me, my first OCZ 2 Agility 2 died after 6 weeks. Weekly backup required :thumbup: Amazon send asap a new one, now for 3 weeks running .. will see.

Thanks, that is nearly what also the german tests report: Not easy .. the panel is great. But I wont turn my head with TrackIR and have shadows from the move over 3 screens .... Maybe just order it from Amazon, test it, hold it or send it back ... not easyyyy. :noexpression:
