Thank you Rhinox You give me a hard time :) I checked the X2775HDS-B1 and it seems to be a good choice, only 2 bad things I found in the (rare) tests on the internet: Reactiontime, they write it is only suitable for 2D and officestuff. But you told me about the measuring. Black/White in the corners, in the tests they wrote that there is a colordifference in the corners. Will this look bad whils using 3 monitors ? I will order this week the first monitor, maybe 2 and next month numer 3. Will there be an problem with the angel of view for the outer monitors ? Do you have an other favorit for IPS/PVA/MVA-based LCD ? At least I am away from the first 2 monitors. Thank you for your help and advice ... :thumbup:

Thank you ... Iiyama ProLite X2775HDS-B1 ... is also in the race, maybe the better choice but this screen has 8 ms seconds reaction time .. does this matter ?! I am with you that the panel might be better. Bad thing on all 3 modells: the frames are very big, maybe I should remove them after warranty :music_whistling:

Hi there I would like to order a monitor as a first step for building a tripple monitor configuration. Payable 27 inch monitors, for me, are: Hanspree HZ281HPB , it is 27,5 inches, 2 ms and its 16:10 so the screen is a little larger than a 16:9 screen. Second choice is ASUS VE276Q , it is 27 inches, 2 ms, 16:09. Both are around 230 Euro and both have bright frames :noexpression:. Which one to choose ? They will be fired by a eyefinity 6 6870 with 2 GB. Any help is welcome ...

Hi MadBadMen Dem ist leider nicht so, ich habe zwar "Anlaufstellen" aber ich zahle auch dafür, das erste Muster eines Panel gab es für lau. Eine Kalkulation habe ich nicht, denke aber mit dem neuen Computer und nem Pit wie ich es mir vorstelle kommen so 2,5 K zusammen. Die Kohle habe ich auch nicht auf einen Schlag, deswegen kommt nun erst ein brauchbarer Rechner, dann das Pit mit "Bildern" und nach und nach die brauchbarsten Panels. Momentan denke ich auch über einen Touchscreen nach da man die Dinger ab und an in der Bucht günstig schießen kann. Ich bin halt vorbelastet ... vor über 10 Jahren hat es mir FALCON 4.0 angetan , aber ich mußte resigniert feststellen dass mir damals die Geduld fehlte. Jetzt bin ich 44 und möchte mich mit dem Sim geistig etwas fordern, dazu basteln und ein paar nette Leute kennen lernen. Zum Glück bin ich über 2 geduldige Enthusiasten in meiner Ecke gestolpert die mich etwas bei der Hand nehemn und wir sind auch schon zusammen geflogen. Letztlich kann man den Sim ja auch mit der tastatur und nem 15 Zoll CRC fliegen, was man draus macht ist persönlicher Wahnsinn :)

Hi there I tried several times to manage the navigation training lesson. But it always ends for me while setting SPI as steering point. The program asked me to move the pointer wit ".". This works also as using the slew control on HOTAS. To set the point I should press "LSTRG HOCH" or TMS UP on the HOTAS. Both wont work. I also checked my setup, the keys on keyboard and the switch on HOTAS is okay. So this lesson ends always abruptly for me. Am I to stupid or a bug ? I am using 1.1.1.1 German. Thanks Tom

Thanks .... but this is what I also found easily. At least are the switches too small in their diameter in conjunction to the switches used on the HOTAS. Push/Pull is also not usable. At least is CONRAD very expensive. I bought a full set of http://www.pollin.de/shop/t/NzU4OTA5OTk-/Bauelemente_Bauteile/Mechanische_Bauelemente/Schalter_Taster/Kippschalter_taster_Serie_MTS.html .. but all to thin/small :helpsmilie: It looks wrong if you have panels in standart/original size and than this small sticky switches. Up to 3 Euro should fit for a simple one ... remember, we need around 100 :cry:

Following this thread very interested and I am also trying to build my own panels. But the first problem is to find usefull switches. All switches I found are to small and too thin. Alwyas called "miniature switch", "microswitch" , etc, pp AQny suggestion where to find thicker switches like on the TM Warthog Throttle ?? A source in europe would be great. keep on this great work ! Tom

Solltest Du über Amazon gekauft haben ... Glückwunsch ! Einfach zurücksenden weil defekt und neu bestellen. Ich habe dies mit einer SSD nach 10 Wochen problemlos durchgezogen ... ohne Rückfragen von Amazon.

Mhh .. hast du nicht noch ne olle HDD in der Ecke liegen ? Einmal darauf XP neu installiert, dazu A-10 und dann mal schauen. Ich fahre noch nen ollen PC, die GraKa kann nur DX9. Das allerdings unter Win7 64x. Ich bin kein Hardwareguru, aber A-10 hat wirklich keine großen Ansprüche an die Hardware. Da muss was anderes stören. Gruß Tom

Hi Danke für den Hint mit dem "MAIN" ... das haben wir natürlich stumpf von der Vorlage übernommen :huh: Einen Nebel sehe ich um die Kelaserten Stellen nicht, jedoch hast du am Ein-/Austrittspunkt des Lasers immer ein kleines Loch. Vielleicht wäre fräsen für dich die bessere Wahl. Ich habe eine gefraeste Plakette aus einem schwarzen Blech in das dann gefraest/graviert wurde. Die Fräse ist nur einem Kollegen der zu nichts kommt, der Lasermann arbeitet gewerblich und ist entsprechend fixer. Gruss Tom

Die Vorlage stammt von reactorone aus einem Thread unter "Pit building" hier im Forum. Realsisiert wurde das ganze dann mit einer Laser-CNC von einem Bekannten von mir. Der Prototyp war für lau , zum testen. Materialkosten pro Panel in dieser Größe werden bei ca. 35 Euro liegen. Wenn das erste Panel steht und auch in Dimebugs Pit (also das von Timmay) paßt kann man mal weiter überlegen. Erstmal sind nun Schalter bestellt, dann sehen wir weiter. Es gibt Überlegungen unter das Overlay noch Makrolon oder Plexi zu legen und zu beleuchten. Schaun mer mal ... ist ja Hobby und kein Streß :pilotfly:

Hehe .. today I got a first muster from the guy with the laser CNC ... looks great ! Please see the pics in this (german) thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=83932 The material is kind of white , thin plexiglas coated with a black layer. If lasered, the white is been seen. Its very thin and comes as a sticker which might be brought up on a MDF or plexiglas. Today I orderered a bunch of switches to try around. Hehe, der Postbote war da und hat was feines mitgebracht. :thumbup: Ich habe nun eine Platte 2 mm MDF gelasert zur Abdeckung der Überwurfmutten der Schalter und als Hit ein Overlay/Beschriftung. Das Material ist irgendwie ein 1 mm dicker schwarzer , selbstklebender Kunststoff, die Beschriftungen wurden fein rausgelasert und sehen einfach nur Hammer aus. Nun werde ich mal bei Pollin ein paar Schalter bestellen und mich um die Grundplatte kümmern. Von der Deckplatte bin ich absolut begeistert ! Schwarz matt, weisse Schrift .. denke da kann man mit UV-Licht was machen.

Thank you very much reactorone!! Today I get a mail from my friend ... he is able to use the delivered EPS-Files on his CNC. He made a first try in plexiglas and all he wrote (via email) is: You will be surprised !! :thumbup: So next week I will get the 3 sheets of plexiglas from him and look for usable switches. Looking forward for this ! I will post a pic from the first try !!

Noch niemand Erfahrung mit den Teilen ? Ein Bekannter hat eine CNC-Fräse, nun hoffe ich darauf im eng. Forumsteil die Panels als Vectorgrafik zu bekommen. Wenn dies nicht funzt wird mein Bekannter mir ein Panel umwandeln und fräsen. Wir denken dabei an schwarzes Plexiglas in 2 oder 3 mm Stärke, Beschriftungen ausgefräst und ggf. in weiß so das man unter UV Licht gut sehen kann. Hat jemand im deutschpsrachigen Forum Erfahrungswerte mit den Panels der A-10 ? Gruß Tom

Hi all I found the great panels from reactorone. But if I understand it right, this panels are just for printing them out. A friend of mine owns a cnc and is willing to make me the panels in black plexiglass, but he needs vector graphics from the paneld for his cnc. I am not very familiar with this ... but it would be great if someone already has this kind of files. It would safe many many hours of work to make this files out of reactorone´s pdf-files. Any help is much apprechiated. Please excuse my english .. its not my native language. Tom
