  1. Hi I am using the Saitek Pro Flight Pedals and am having the issue that when I land and apply both toe brakes that the plane starts to weave to one side. It can be to one side or the other and am not sure whats causing it. I've posted a video below and you can see everytime I straighten up and then I start to slew to one side and that's caused by the toe brakes. Any idea or cause? Thanks again. https://youtu.be/Aaz6Sq8hPSk
  2. Thanks guys and love the dog analogy.
  3. Hi What exactly is the purpose of the Anti Skid function on the A-10C? Is it to do with landing or taking off or both and should it ever be off? Thanks
  4. Thanks Dragon!!
  5. Hi Is there a printable map for NTTR yet? Even if it's pay to buy. Thanks
  6. Where does one get or find the maple flag missions?
  7. Thanks for all replies. Really appreciate the advice.
  8. Hi So you've done the training and studied the manual. What's next? Seems I have some choices and am wondering what's best? I still lack experience and want to learn the Hog thoroughly. So the choices seem to be Instant action/quick missions Stock missions User made missions Watching some of the amazing training videos on YouTube and trying to learn from those. Join open multiplayer servers and try and just learn as I go. Or join a squadron and learn as I go. What did everyone else do? Thanks
  9. Hi Once you've selected MAN through the CDU how do you return to the previous page.Sorry
  10. Ah. Pity they don't make them anymore.
  11. Hi Just wondering how people protect their throttles from dust etc. Do you have it covered and if so what with? I've noticed since I got mine that dust settles on it and the channel that the throttles sit in is quite large and must allow lots of dust in. Thanks
  12. My thoughts were just that ATC say go that direction for that number of miles. By the time you've taken your notes or punched into tad you have flown several hundred yards or even a couple of nm. So unless you react in seconds to the instruction(and I'm not saying you couldn't) then aren't the instructions erroneous even slightly? Your turn may be a couple of degrees more or less now and the distance longer or shorter. However I am basing this that something is going to happen navigation/landing wise when you hit the original coordinate given and that area might be tiny or huge for that action to trigger. If the trigger area is huge then it's irrelevant. Thanks again
  13. Thanks guys. Interesting.
  14. Hi If ATC give you a distance to travel, how do work that out or measure the distance travelled? So how do you know you've travelled the correct distance? Thanks
  15. Hi Flightschool 101. :) To avoid slippage when turning is it just a case of banking using your stick and applying opposite rudder to the direction of the bank. This means you shouldn't lose height and have to pull up as well as sideways on the stick or am i mistaken?
  16. My bad.Never realised they weren't all the way back due to the detention or whatever it's called.
  17. Actually my bad. Sorted now as never knew about the off/idle setting and never had the throttles in the off position.
  18. Ok Thanks. Wasn't sure if I was having to assign left throttle on HOTAS to left throttle in settings and the same for the right. I thought there might be a single throttle setting in DCS that means my 2 different HOTAS throttles were just being recognised as just a single simple throttle and therefore not reaction to separate pushes.
  19. Hi Doing a cold start my left and right throttles aren't even moving. Flying no problem. So I assume they are linked in my settings and I need to assign the axis for both separate throttles? And if I do do I also need to apply separate commands for starting the engines with them, when you lift them up? Thanks
  20. Hi Doing the engine startup and moving the throttles on my HOTAS nothing happens and they don't move. All other functions are fine. Also when I am flying they work no problem. So why not on startup? Do I have to set them in the settings? Thanks
  21. Did you lift it by the stick and not the base????
  22. Hi Just wondering which settings people have in their sound preferences? Particularly which one lowers the engine sounds in cockpit? Thanks
  23. Ah OK. Thought I was missing something obvious. Thanks
  24. Hi On the throttle control panel there is a black button for engage/disengage autopilot, but on the Throttle the Red Left Throttle Button seems to do the same function. Both seems to turn on the Autopilot setting currently selected. So why are the 2 buttons doing the same function so lcose together or am I missing something?
  25. Hi Guys. Someone posted in another thread that most people have 20-25 as a curvature. Can someone who is using the pro rudder pedals advise me their deadzone and curve settings please? Thanks
